Yes it is a dated hotel. It’s at a service station, buts it’s clean and easy access if you need to be in the area. We had a family room for 2 small children, the hotel provided a travel cot with blankets which was very nice. Breakfast is available via the main service station and at Harry Ramsdens.

This would be the first motorway service station hotel I've stayed in and would guess that it rates as pretty good value, it's not the sort of place you'd stay for home comforts and I'd guess that as long as it is clean and functional then that will be good eough. There is no air-con so quite stiffling in the summer, but fortunately the motorway traffic noise is muffled by the surrounding trees. As a cheap stop over before getting away early on the M3 this is "good enough"

Stayed a couple of times. Nice enough, room are decent, friendly staff. The main complex a work in progress and the hotel entrance being landscaped currently. No problems gaining access but needs an entrance from rear carpark.

Probably one of the worst most confusing hotels I've ever visited. Their only positive aspect was the staff were friendly and helpful. It was on the "A" (North) bound side of the motorway even though its advertised as southbound. So to get across with all the building works took 2 phone calls to the hotel, one stop at the services garage and two hours of my life. Everyone knew one was there just not how to actually get to it, in the end reverted to Tom Tom amd did a 17 mile loop to the North bound side and found it. Room was about as bare, minimalist and miserable as they could get away with. The carpet stank of oily boots and when I told reception they said "well we do have a lot of workmen staying overnight"! Brilliant! So for twenty quid more I could have stayed in a lovely little private guest house above a family run pub in a small Surrey village, instead, they had already charged my card so I had to stay in this stinking filth pit. Truly the very bottom of hotel chains and I imagine even by Days Inn standards this was poor. However if you like your room with a lovely little echo and sweaty shoe stink, this is for you. Actually my wife was over the moon with my stop-over hotel choice and there was absolutely no domestic during our visit. Be warned!

DOG FRIENDLY We have eventually found a hotel which takes dogs and wow you won't be disappointed. Friendly reasonably priced and even breakfast brought to your door, it's a better service than some top hotels. A must for all dog lovers and families looking for accommodation in the area.

Good place for a stop over and dog friendly. Easy accommodation and comfortable.

Cleaning was non existant same bedding for one week without being changed cups and spoon the same not cleaned or changed and finally not a lot to do during stay due to the rebuild of services would not stay there if I had a choice.

Clean, cheap lodge. Worth staying at if you need to be local. Better than Travelodge and generally cheaper. Friendly staff. Rooms are a bit worn but comfortable. Recommend asking for upper floor to avoid the elephants in the night! Rooms facing car park are noisy.

Stayed at this hotel before and love it very clean lovely staff and in a great location.

Clean, large rooms, hot showers, comfy bed. Really good value.

Prices and arrangement, close to the highway to quickly reach every place.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Night staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not overly clean stains on ceiling pieces of paper behind beds dirt on floor. Some night lamps did not work and one plug socket did not work either. Apart from this the stay was ok and the member of staff on in the evenings was very helpful and polite indeed.

Hotel clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would have given five stars if getting to and from the hotel was easier other than using the motorway.

Helpful member of staff at reception. Had to call ahead as there was an issue with the slip road to services station so had to get directions to get in the back way. Room was close to the reception which made it easier for us as we had two young children and two dogs. Beds were very comfy and spare bed set up for oldest child. Struggled finger the wall lights to work but there was a hidden switch so got there eventually. The room and bathroom were clean and the TV worked fine. There was no noise from outside. The morning staff were also friendly.

Not luxury. But clean and good vfm. Motorway services only for amenities. Approach only from north.

Just asked a bulgarian cleaner who can't speak a word of English to clean my room when he was right opposite me. He said he would come back in 2 hours then going to reception they said he has gone. This a taste of what you're up against all the time. Most leave this place during the night without getting their monies worth this is no welcome Break more like hell on earth. Pains in arms and chest think this place will give me a heart attack.

Got this manager who is nothing more than a receptionist holly who gives the green light to the bulgarian cleaners to sift through your personal belongings whilst you're not in the room. Any post goes into some secret location over the bridge which I was not allowed into. Her boyfriend opened my letters over there. Had a real fight to ever get post of a highly classified status. Eventually they force you to leave it so bad living here.

Not for the long term stays like me due to long term illness. You have these bulgarian cleaners sifting around in your personal belongings if you leave them alone so now I must be in the room with them whenever they clean. Receptionists every time you ask them to do anything always a lame excuse no. Exasperated stayed here since 10th March now time to move on.

Poor location. Not informed the bridge was shut for over a year so my northbound access. Also m3 shut at 8pm every night with poor directions & no info on getting back to the hotel. Rooms very warm. Several staff unable to understand English at all.

Not bad for an overnight, cheap and fairly cheerful! A word of caution though… you will get noise from the motorway which is a couple of hundred yards from the hotel, and when we stayed there was a whacking great building site in the car park where the old services had burnt down. All things considered, I would go back if I was passing and needed a bed for the night, but not really for a holiday weekend!

Handy location at a good halfway point along M3 for my journey from Southampton to London. Brilliant services on the same site as well.

Room was spacious yet warm! Staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely place but parking eye are trying to fine me for parking there not happy.

Have been staying there for 8 weeks on and off. Was okay but now that they have changed the service company it really is rubbish. Rooms not cleaned, no fresh towels, tea and coffee not replenished. Can no longer recommend. Actual staff at hotel very apologetic and do their utmost to help but management appear to not care. Recommend that you avoid until service improves.

Offered me everything I needed for a business stopover — great last minute deal, free Wi-Fi, free and safe parking, quiet and clean room, range of food and drink outlets 2mins walk away, exceptional friendly and helpful ladies on reception — couldn't ask for more.

Scruffy rooms, bathroom had bugs all around the bath and sink! Dont touch anything, dont lay down for too long and put a peg on your nose.

Good services but high prices.
