Piss poor service in the restaurant sat at the table ordered food within 15 minutes. Waitress informed us an hour an 10 mins later they where struggling in the kitchen. At which time it was too later to seek alternatives. Was offered a complimentary drink which never arrived. Complete incompetence all round will never stop at this hotel again. Whitbread group are a joke.

2nd time staying here just home yesterday after 3 days and I love this place its family friendly and so close to old trafford and tram stop literally 2 mins from here, I wouldn't stay anywere else in manchester tea and coffee facilities in room, also anything we needed info on we got from reception staff lady on thursday morning was extremely friendly and helped us out with directions etc, also David on reception friendly chatty and funny he will no who we were as I trusted him with our bags (jokes) 5* from us and we cant wait to get back 😁 x.

Lovely room very clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just metres away from Old Trafford!

Perfect place to stay if you’re going to Old Trafford. 2 minute walk from the stadium.

By far the worst Premier inn I’ve ever stayed in.

Internet was unavailable even though they call it ultimate. Half the meal selections were not available.
Also had to pay for parking even as a guest at the hotel.

Have stayed here before and no complaints. This time when I checked in was told restaurant only open for breakfast when I had prebooked a meal deal. They even contacted me suggesting I book a time slot for dinner but couldn’t then tell me no dinner was available. One of the lifts out of order but reception didn’t see fit to tell me to use the other one. No notification except for a sign by the lift after I’d walked half the length of the hotel. Wi-Fi not working, something else reception didn’t feel was worth mentioning when I checked in. All in all very lax Customer Service.

Hotel was great and nice staff. But the restaurant was terrible the menu was very poor and portion size were like something of the kids menu.
Stayed in loads of these hotels normally 3 a week and this is by far the worst.

The premier plus rooms are great and the complimentary drink is nice, however the food service is woeful at best, I ordered a starter and main course and 1 hour later still no starter!

Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything you expect from a premier inn. Only had a breakfast from the restaurant and that was ok. Reasonably priced bar. Great for visiting Old Trafford but if you're a light sleeper you can hear the music from the warehouse round the corner. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Great stay, usual premier inn, comfy bed, clean room and great breakfast, staff were really friendly on arrival which was great after a long tiring journey.

It's a premier Inn, you get what you expect. Rooms are big enough, pretty clean. Air con works beautifully. Food and drink is reasonably priced and tastes good. Free Wi-Fi is available here, but it might as well not be though. It'll be enough to get you through a day in passing, but if you stay here on business for a week at a time, don't expect to get anything done.

Can't fault the quality of the room and the placement of the hotel which was perfect for our needs the issue is we had a terrible nights sleep due to (according to the guy on reception when we called) 100 people turning up at 2.30 in the morning from a conference and standing in reception for 3 quarters of an hour speaking and laughing at the top of their voices, this would have been okay if our room wasn't ten feet away. Despite us calling reception and complaining nothing was done and when we said about it the next morning when we checked out the lady on duty dismissed the issue totally telling us if was logged on the system and that was it. So much for their marvellous good night's sleep guarantee.

Nice room, really friendly staff, there was a really great breakfast selection and my evening meal was tasty. Would happily stay there again.

Good location and usually reasonably priced against other hotels on the area… but slightly dated decor and took an age to check-in… definitely not enough staff. Manager poked her head out of office to ask check in employee a question and could see how busy check-in was but didnt offer to help and went back to office and closed door… Not great…! management at fault not check in staff. Evening meal and breakfast were good and staff at both were extremely helpful.

We booked this 4 months early so got a good deal, £45 a night for a family room. The room was exactly as you'd expect for a Premier Inn. The restaurant, Thyme, was fine, food was good, reasonable priced. The staff were great. They helped with advice, let us leave the car while we went for a walk in the sun, hunted the kitchens for lemon meringue pie! And even though they were busy every time we saw them they were smiling and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

Functional rooms. Nice and clean. Good breakfast options with full fry up or fruit /cereals. Prompt and friendly staff.

Ate at the hotel. Waited 2 hours for a table but the waiter was very apologetic and brought us two free drinks. Waiter was knowledgeable and attentive.

Second time been to this premier Inn All very helpful and friendly Close to everywhere and good food.

Perfect location, across the road from Old Trafford, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great food in restaurant, highly recommended.

Staff were great in the bar and restaurant. Heating wasn't working properly in room. When we arrived they didn't have a room for us although I'd booked 12 days previously.

As Premier Inns go, this was one of the best ones I've stayed in. The room was well decorated, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spacious. The staff were helpful, and the checking in / out process was done in under a minute. Location is good and just round the corner from Victoria Warehouse, and right next to Old Trafford. The Lowry outlet is just a short walk away also, where there are numerous places to eat out.

Well wot a place people lovely all ways thier to help rooms nice clean food nice plenty to choose from go back again.

Ground floor room 7. Recently refurbished. Nice large room. Nice staff. Free parking. One of the better premier inns.

Stayed here new years eve so I could celebrate new year with family. Queue to check in was long and only 1 member of staff on duty. Room was standard Premier Inn, view over the canal was good.

Good parking. Room was very nice. Food & service was excellent. Will definitely be going back there.

Poor service. Dirty toilets and disengaged staff. Send your money attitude — only interested in bar customers.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here compared to some of the other Premier Inns this one seem to be one of the best great staff great breakfast nice spacious rooms quite a nice bar and one or two extra facilities highly recommended. Also plenty of parking spaces near the main entrance making it easier to check in.

Quality location, great staff, decent food. Not to forget the duty manager with the mad ponytail! Cracking lad and full of fun.

Nice and close to the stadium but could do with a bigger and better TV in the room we stayed in. Saying that it does the job.

Room was clean, bed comfy and good location. Free internet is Slow, breakfast was average. It was a little pricey for what you get.

Decent room rates, nice and clean, well-connected for public transport. Car park can get busy so check in as early as you can!

Really good stay! Staff were welcoming, helpful & friendly. Extra pillows were brought to us at 10pm when my teenage son realised he only had one and although we made a mistake with the breakfast times (I thought it was Saturday — it wasn't!? ), staff were really kind, telling us not to worry & leaving everything out until we were finished. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 was because the 2nd kids' bed in our family room was suitable for a child rather than a teen so my daughter was a bit uncomfortable and didn't have a good night's sleep.

The staff were great and very helpful at all times. Although it was very busy most of the time in the bar and dining area it never felt crowded. The food was delicious and the menu offered so much choice you could stay for a week and not get bored. As for the room it was very pleasant and provided everything I needed… Except a plug socket by the bed to charge my phone. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Would give more than 5 star if possible. Booked in by Gaby who was professional, friendly and very efficient. Wonderful meal with steak cooked to exact requirements. Gaby was available at reception for extras such as iron and taxi ordering and it was as though nothing was too much trouble for her — she made a premier inn feel like a top hotel.

Really friendly staff and the room provided was spacious, tidy and clean. The only let down is the length of time it took to receive food ordered at the restaurant. It may have been due to being short staffed? *Eventually* (took a really long time) Premier Inn did respond appropriately. To be fair, I have stopped at hotel previously without problem. This experience may have been a one off.

If you can survive the 2 hours it took them to check us into the room on arrival then the hotel is for you. Don't waste any time complaining about it as you won't get your time back or a cardboard breakfast offered. Did you also know Premier Inn customer service take 14 days to respond to a complaint. Yes That's two weeks. This was the queue at about 4pm. My advice, pay a little more and go to the Hilton in town and with a Hilton Honors card its still affordable and a world apart from these non premier idiots who think that service is an extra. The Hilton breakfast alone is worth the extra money as it was top quality and proper service too.

Amazing location right next to Old Trafford football stadium. The staff are so friendly and helpful I felt like I had known them for ages. The rooms were clean and tidy. Quiet. The food was lovely. I would definitely recommend.

A big but pretty standard (ie clean and comfortable but nothing spectacular) Premier Inn. No complaints except maybe that the car park is not big enough.

I stayed here from the 11th March to the 14th March with my 15 year old son for 3 nights as we went to see a manchester united game, 1st night was in room 106 very noisy, said to receptionist next morning and I was moved straight away to room 317 which was much better, staff very friendly and very obliging and breakfast was suberb and very close to town just to hop on the x50 would highly recommend this place to stay in, will definitely come back.

Hey, it's a Premier Inn. You know exactly what to expect. A comfy bed, decent sized room, and reasonably priced. As ever, good helpful staff too.

Staff are really nice and friendly but the food is beyond bad. Overcooked, cold and not as described on the menu. Extremely disappointing and would not stay here again.

Good room, decor a little tired but bed comfortable and no noise from the road.

Location is perfect, just minutes from the football stadium. There isn't much else in the area, so even getting food can be a challenge, but there is a bus stop right out front that will take you to the city centre in 10 minutes. Rooms are standard-fairly new and well-kept. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, and I would prefer proper soap and shampoo, rather than the single, all-purpose "wash" provided. The lift is quite far from the entrance, and the room layout baffling, but staff were friendly and reasonably competent. Would stay again if I ever again have business in the area.

I'm not a Man Utd fan but when I came down to watch Real Madrid play I stayed here with my sis we hade a clean room with nice staff the restaurant was decent over charging drinks that were not the same size but other then that we had a fantastic time.

Generally OK, but service in the restaurant was terrible and beware of mispricing in the bar. Menu gives a price for 35ml of spirits but the bar serves 25ml measures and charges the 35ml price! Makes an overcharge of £2.40 on any double. Disgraceful.

Very clean hotel. Stayed with the wife and kids. Seems to have a mix of families and young single adults but keeps them separate. Would recomend.

This is my second stay. I love this hotel. Staff, facilities, cleanliness of the rooms and hotel in general is excellent. Very modern, safe and welcoming place with lots of parking and easy access to everywhere. Excellent value for money.

Quality — definately. Good place to sleep. Facilities — got to buy wash kit. The dun provide toiletries here. (my first time with premier inn so I do not know) Service — not consistent. Hope the whole team could be as good as Ahn. She help me through out my stay. Tried to call room service but they do not send to room.
