Pricing is ridiculous. Half a coke £3.25. £5.80 pint for a squirt of syrup. The beer is more than anywhere in the area. 5 people in the bar at just before 8pm.

Visited on Friday had food and cocktails also some cheeky shots! Really good value, food was delicious and piping hot. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

I had the Trio of sausages with mash. Sounds straight forward, yet they managed to make it Amazing. Fantastic food a must try.

Fantastic meal tonight, booked at really short notice & they were able to accommodate us due to us having a booking cancelled, all had the sunday roast which was fantastic & the service was great also. Will be coming back for sure & would highly recommend. Thank you for saving the night!

Have just stayed for 3 days at the victoria and would thoroughly recommend, the staff are so friendly and professional and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. A really enjoyable experience and would definitely go back.

Ordered delivery of steak pie, mash and vegetables. Food arrived early but was freezing cold and inedible. Vegetables were greasy and burned. I rang the restaurant and the lady I spoke to said they’d replace the meal and offered a bottle as an apology. Great! Not! The replacement meal was wrong — I got chips instead of the mash that I had originally ordered and the veg was still greasy!

Visited on boxing day, had 2 turkey roast dinners and they were delicious, especially the lovely creamy mash, and finished off with biscoff cheesecake, always had good service.

When you order from them they don’t fitful it staff need more training on how to be honest with customers.

Very generous portions beautifully cooked with the lovely ingredients. Very efficient staff and a pleasant atmosphere and we will definitely go again it was lovely to have food served and hot plates and veg that wasn’t out of the freezer.

Just received our mother's day 3 course meal, that I won in the competition today. Oh my goodness what delicious food! Can't wait till you open back up so we can come and dine in. The brownie is probably the best I have ever had yum yum!. Thanks again. ☺️☺️

Just had kebab and home made cheese pie delivered. Very tasty. Would of cost me around £10 less if I ordered direct with the restaurant, dont order through Just Eat!

We had a delivery from The Victoria Walshaw and weren't disappointing. As a vegan it's great to have so many options for good quality food. I had the hot dog this time, I'll definitely order again to try the other items on the menu.

We’ve just had our ‘first’ delivery from The Victoria Walshaw; it will be the first of many!
The food was incredible, the homemade Steak and ale pie was delicious, on another level!
The kids cheese burger didn’t last long! Finished off with Chocolate Fudge cake and a Sweet and tangy Apple pie.
You will not be disappointed.

Great traditional pub with great food and friendly service, can’t recommend quiz night highly enough!

Stayed overnight in one of the rooms which was perfectly priced. Also used tesco Clubcard offers through the hotels. Com offer which is a big perk!

Lovely stay lovely atmosphere great friendly staff, nothing too much trouble.

I am a ceoliac. I Went today and had a lovely gluten free meal. Staff very attentive and asked lots of questions to make sure I had the right food. Food was lovely and I would confidently go back.

We where looking for a decent place to eat as a family of 4. We booked our table at the Victoria and hoped for the best. The wait was a little longer than I am used to in pubs that serve grub, but when the food came this was understandable. The food served was not pub grub but excellent freshly prepared food that was well worth the wait. Catering for 2 adults and 2 fussy children the staff where friendly, helpful and attentive. Will definitely be returning and would thoroughly recommend trying this place.

We looked at the menu the night before and decided to give it a go. The choice was excellent ranging from classic pub meals to more adventurous dishes. My wife and I both enjoyed the jalapeno poppers to start and had Thai curry for main. The standard of food including it's presentation was outstanding considering such a very reasonable price. You can tell only high quality ingredients were used in the food preparation. Of course when having the opportunity to dine out we do like to try and fit a desert in. The standard of the food continued into this menu. Myself and my wife can highly recommended the triple chocolate brownie with ice cream. All in all a very wonderful experience with very friendly staff. Thanks Victoria Hotel.
