I’ve never used the hotel only the lobby bar. Anyway, staff is very polite and professional. Kids friendly lobby bar for afternoon coffee. Nice location.

A nice hotel, with good views from the rooms. The room we were in was fairly spacious for the money, and the bed was comfortable. Parking is fairly expensive (£14 for 24 hours), but it is in London. Fairly close to a few tube stations. Check-in/check-out times are reasonable.

Very efficient stay. The "take to your room" food was excellent. Car park spaces very small, but was not full. Nice walk across locks to train station.

Un hotel con encanto. Sencillo pero con todo l necesario. Las salas de eventos fantásticas, grandes y con vistas al río. Muy recomendable.

Loved it here. The executive room with the balcony provides you with a lovely view over Brentford lock especially at night time. We will be staying here again.

Check in was troublesome. At 4:30 pm the room was not ready and we were the last in our tour to get a room, everyone else was in their rooms an hour and a half before us, they were all Chinese with the Chinese interpreter getting their rooms. They did compensate by giving us dinner vouchers. The room was great, two king size beds and a large clean bath.

Modern bar and restaurant area with old time decor. Free iMac to use and tablets for kids. Parking fee applies, though in the basement of same building. Friendly staff and good sized room.

Worse conference service ever! One person looked after us and she was terrible! Why are they employing people who have no clue! Food was awful, breaks were terrible, our clients were disgusted at the service! I won;t be booking this place again, neither will other people that I warn off!

It's not recommended for conferences, the staff running the them are basically just out of school, with no experience! Things are sloppy, they don't stick to time and very unprofessional! How this hotel ever won awards is beyond me.

Starting to lose count of the times I've stayed here now it's superb a true home from home, amazing location so easy for commuting to the city, staff are fantastic friendly professional and so welcoming, 10/10 winter spring or summer Holiday Inn Brentford Lock is my choice every time, :-)

This place was beautiful set out from the reception area to the venue rooms. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent… The food was absolutely tasty. Everything about this place deserves 5 stars…

Excellent IHG hotel. Well located not very far from heathrow. Very good for a night transit in london. Located in main street many shop and restaurant just nearby by a walking distance. Very nice view on the brentford canal. Room are nice and well cleaned and mainteaned. And well heated. Very quiete you can feel rested in comfortable bed after long joureny. The executives room have a balcony with nice view over the canal and the city. The main looby very good with starbucks coffee. The breakfast good quality and the restaurant is good… the staff are very freindly and responsive. They do their best that you feel comfortable. This property is up to IHG standard… and not far from central london. Bus station just beside the hotel.

Waterside location. 15 minutes walk from Brentford station. Conference facility good. Good food provided for lunch. Not enough coffee provided at break though.

I arrived late on a cold Friday evening and was immediately welcomed in by the desk staff. The check-in was quick and easy and I was soon on my way up to my room. After changing out of my motorcycle gear it was nice to explore the local area on foot taking in the nearby canal and gauging lock. Overall there was not a lot going on and I was not in the mood for a sit down meal at one of the nearby restaurants so returned instead to the hotel lobby which had a choice of light bites on sale, perfect for what I wanted. I enjoyed a good night's sleep with a comfortable bed, my only niggle was that the supplied pillows are much thicker than my normal one and I prefer something thinner. In the morning the shower was hot and with pressure, this is always a good benchmark for my rating of a hotel! I left too early to sample breakfast but did get a coffee from the Starbucks concession in the hotel lobby which started the day nicely. The key reason fir my choosing this hotel was it having underground parking as I don't like leaving my motorcycle in plain view if possible. That said, the hotel was very good across the board so all in all it was a good choice.

It is a perfect place to stay if you are heading to Twickenham. We were able to check in slightly earlier than 2 and could leave the car in the underground car park. We had a hearty breakfast and although it was busy we were satisfied with the service etc.

Nice rooms and nice building a short walk from the railway station with easy links to London centre. Expensive parking! I also enquired about staying an extra night and it was like I'd asked the hardest question imaginable. I was asked to wait for a few minutes, other guests arrived and left… completely ignored for nearly twenty minutes. I just got up and left after pressing the "dissatisfied" button on their little gadget. Shame it's so difficult to actually stay at this hotel!

Fantastic service and they really look after their customers. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. They even bought my son a gift because he injured himself and really helped us out dealing with the situation. They went well beyond anything I expected.

Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. Bathroom was less than 4 stars: very noisy faucet (80 dB), combined body wash and shampoo instead of two separate products, no washcloths. Good-sized room, but looked out over air conditioner.

Good! The price of food is very reasonable, unexpecedly low. The hotel is excellent. They served great breakfast. Staff is polite and helpful.

Stayed here 4times and enjoyed our stay. Location is ideal for us. Pretty walks along the canal. The resturant is good and breakfast is plentiful. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The area also has a nice mix of pubs and restaurants a short walk away. Plenty of underground parking but there is an extra charge.

Little bit expensive but suppose that's dictated by the area. Good clean rooms with air conditioning and on suite bath and shower combo. Secure underground parking, although, again, this was an additional charge and for the price of the room, would have expected some kind of parking area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel if the rooms are not too expensive for you.

Booked a conference room for 20 with their delegate package. Great venue, free parking for up to 75 cars. Lunch was well catered and to a very high standard. Only critic was could have done with a slightly more attentiveness. Had to keep going to reception and queuing for queries. Will however definitely use again.

Typical Holliday inn hotel with lots comfort and hospitality. It would be nice if they have a smoking floor.

Excellent party/wedding venue. Beautifully decorated main hall. The access via the road could be a minor problem for disabled users but inside was fine. Only grip parking on site is expensive but there is some single yellow spaces in adjacent roads. Nice venue.

Lovely clean, warm friendly environment… Very good for family's like myself children were well looked after. Will a definitely be coming back.

Location puts it near the airport and not far from Chiswick, Twickenham and Richmond — all good places to visit. The staff seem friendly and helpful. The hotel is well presented and clean. It has nice views of Brentford lock. The bar service is ok, but there aren't any real ales.

Have stayed several times. Great for business meetings. Nice location and very convenient. Other than that — quite basic and over-priced. Also, the never-ending Indian weddings are annoying, to put it mildly.

Located in the west of London, in the periphery but livened up by various businesses. Spacious and clean room, good bed, good views on the Thames. Shortage of bath products, just SOAP and bubble bath, everything else for sale in high costs.

Great hotel, not sure about location. Only problem was that the room wasn't ready in time for check-in. Booked a twin room which had 2 double beds so a great size. Function rooms downstairs were great for wedding. Highly recommend it!

Good hotel to stay in free Wi-Fi and good service, I stayed in because I had a flight next day but it's 20 minutes by cab and 40 pounds for a van to Heathrow terminal 5

Decent hotel with a good breakfast. Rooms were good quality. There are plenty of restaurants close by and the area is generally quiet for a good sleep. It's right under the approach to Heathrow if planes are landing from the east if airplane noise is a bother and that starts around 6 AM or so.

Just went in for a drink on a spare afternoon. Drinks not cheap but not silly. Nice sit out on the arm chairs on a nice sunny day overlooking the marina. Bit of fumes from the road. Shan the couldn't have built the bar facing away more. Bring on electric cars. Bar staff friendly. Decor. It's a holiday inn. Nothing fancy but clean and nice.

Probably one of the best Holiday Inns I've ever been to. Great staff, wonderful location and a great deal on the room. The restaurant is good and the amenities are abundant.

I attended a wedding reception at this place, finding the place was quite easy. The parking is a bit small however there are places nearby. In the lobby you will find the restaurant and bar which is quite modern and well equipped. Staff is friendly and up to date with everything. Rooms are standard holiday inn rooms, have free tea etc and a mini bar. Will be returning!

Overlooking the canal the hotel is well situated and pleasantly bright and welcoming. Staff were helpful and curteous.

Attended numerous corporate events here. Huge hall which can easily fit 300-400+. Catering is very good too. However toilet situation needs improving — 2 actual toilets outside a hall that can seat hundreds of people? Leads to lots of queues.

Good service. Food wasn't bad. There are a few board games and foosball table to help time pass during a stay.

Nice hotel and good value considering its proximity to the centre of London. To reach the centre of London you will need to use a bus and train/underground but it's very easy. Make sure you use an Oyster Card for public transport. Free parking in the local area is almost impossible however the hotel offers parking for a fee and there are other local carparks.

Food was great. Staff were excellent and very very polite. Noisy corridor outside room and could hear emergency vehicles quite a lot through the night outside.

Really good place, the food was good and everything was clean. Only one small toilets on the ground floor is not enough for reception though.

Stayed for one night on business. Staff were lovely and friendly. Room service was good quality apart from the desert which was ice cream and brownie. The ice cream was great but the brownies were dry and tasteless. Breakfast was of decent quality.

Friendly & welcoming staff, clean comfortable accommodation & great if you don't mind being a little way from the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

I was only there for one night but everything was excellent. Helpful staff and clean rooms.

Was there for a meeting of about 60 people. Conference room was nice. Acoustics were good, and adequate amounts of drinks and snacks were provided. Projector was not quote sufficient for all in the room to see what was going on.

I turned up on spec for a business lunch. Tge filet steak was very fery good indeed.

Newly refurbished this middle class hotel got a well needed lift from its earlier status. Friendly and helpful staff add to the impression.

Over the past year or so my friend/s and I frequently have lunch and more often coffee in the bright funky and relaxing lounge and also use the excellent seating outside by the canal which we love. We would also like to add our appreciation to many of your staff who are ALWAYS efficient, welcoming and never forget to acknowledge you and with a smile! Unfortunately, I only remember 2 of their names Emma and Claudia — many thanks to all your staff for your good customer service.

Very good hotel. You often have deals so you can book at a very reasonable price. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Very quiet. A gym with a nice views and modern treadmills. A bus stop in front of the hotel. All in all a very good choice.

I am absolutely horrified with my experience here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are absolutely rude! The bed sheets were dirty, my breakfast was cold and not to mention the noise while trying to get to sleep was absolutely ridiculous. Myself and my partner were tossing and turning all night! Also when I asked a member of staff for a clean towel they said they would get back to me but no it took me 3 times to ask before I got one. The worst hotel I've ever been too. I also suggest they get a new receptionist.

Used to love this place and it could still be great if it didn't sound like an aeroplane was trying to land on the building constantly. The continuous throbbing noise which I assume must be some sort of generator is loud enough to drown out conversation or the tv, prevent you sleeping or at least give you a pretty nasty headache. Its a real shame as the staff are lovely, the modern layout is great and the setting is superb. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the first floor — enjoy! But if you're unfortunate to get the 5th floor you'd better shop around.
