Great hotel. Conveniently located less than 100 metres from the metro station and a 5-minute walk from the train station directly connecting the Gatwick airport.
Rooms are quite small TV and conditioned area in each room. Very complete and varied international breakfast. Great prices. The staff was very helpful Possibility of luggage storage on arrival and departure at no extra charge. Great prices for location and service offered. Also recommended for families.

Very good value for money. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Rooms can be a bit noisy though because of wooden flooring…

Great location, easy 5-10 minute walk from Waterloo. Walked to Embankment for Proud Cabaret, but got a taxi home. Very clean and simple hotel. Excellent breakfast in the morning.

The breakfast was very nice and the location was great. For the rooms c is the ultra classic of a hotel ' ' factory ' with DS rooms of shower cabins of reasonable size but no real bathroom.
Why don't we go back? Yes No worries knowing the prices in London… the breakfast is superb, Waterloo next door not far from the promenade along the South Bank of the River Thames to reach London Bridge…

Very nice hotel and modern. Half a block from the subway. Super Full breakfast but not included in the stay, you pay aside. Very good restaurant and bar of the hotel, very rich everything. Keep in mind that the restaurant closes to the 22hs, like most of the restaurants in London.

The lobby and restaurant are very stylish and all very modern. Staff are helpful. However, our room, which was an accessible room (although we did not require this facility) was quite poorly laid out with narrow single beds crammed very close together and their movement limited by small bed side shelves, and was overall quite cramped. I think a guest with mobility problems or a wheelchair user would really struggle. We did the best we could but had to use an extension cable to charge and have access to our phones overnight (which we required).

Excellent location, very spacious rooms and Metro right next door, when we return to London to repeat! Highly recommended.

Rooms The bathroom is made from a kind of plastic structure inserted in the rooms, in any case there is everything. To be London costs little although in absolute value is not really cheap (about 130 euros per night plus 20 euros of breakfast). Breakfast is very good.

Great location, with the center reachable even on foot in a few tens of minutes. Nearby is easy to find bar restaurants and Caffeterie for all prices.
All means of transport bus, train and Metro in the immediate vicinity to the reception staff young, professional and very courteous double rooms comfortable, clean and functional. Also with panoramic view.

My favorite hotel I've stayed at on my trip to London/ Paris. Friendliest staff, most accessible and comfortable hotel bar (dinner at the restaurant could have been better). Had everything I needed but what I enjoyed most was the boat — like bathroom. It just seemed so unique and cool to me. Not sure if all the rooms are like that but the fake wood floor that's tilted towards the drain so that you don't even need anything separating shower floor to the regular bathroom floor was enjoyable. Good location too, right next to an underground and the Thames.

I am not giving this place five stars, simply because of its small bathrooms. (Although this is typical for every Ibis hotel, it still bothers me that there is barely room to move. You feel more in a cubicle than in a hotel bathroom. ) The staff here will go out of their way to help you: free bubbly for a special occasion, pastries for free because the receptionist liked us, etc. A genuinely nice place.

Really good breakfast. Restaurant dinner was grand, service from staff is good and beer selection is OK. Room is basic but has everything you need. Bed is comfortable and the hotel is quiet.

Contemporary hotel, great, helpful and friendly staff. Simple but clean rooms. Great breakfast buffet. Bus stop in front of the hotel. Approx. 20 mins walk across the Millennium bridge to restaurants and bars.

Nice staff and great location. BUT, the beds are as hard as rock. The floor was more soft than the beds, and my daughter would have preferred sleeping in the bathroom, if it wasn't for the next point. I managed to bruise a rib, during one of the sleepless nights. Secondly the room was extremely cold, and most evenings we had to stay under the covers, just to be able to stay in the room. The heater couldn't warm more the one meter away from itself, so the rest of the room was about the same temperature as outside.

We stayed 2 nights this week at the hotel. It was nice modern, the staff was friendly and the rooms absolutely OK. Breakfast was very good, however the breakfast area could be a bit bigger in a 300 room hotel. You have a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and a subway station 2 minutes away, as well as a grocery store. One is in 2 minutes on the banks of the Thames in the middle of the city. Next time we're in London, we'll certainly be back.

Discreet Hotel close to Southwark stop of the Jubilee line. Good value for money. Very nice staff.

Great location, very close to Metro station. Many locales well within walking distance. Very clean, room and bathroom not huge but perfect for city trip! Breakfast very good, staff very friendly. Definitely recommended!

A good location, close to Tate Modern, Borough Market, the London Eye and other attractions, and within easy reach of a couple of tube lines. Check-in was quick and easy, with a warm welcome, and the room was clean, warm and well-appointed. The bar/ restaurant was quiet and relaxed, a really nice place to hang out with a drink and a book — really appreciated as a solo traveller.

Very well located hotel that allows to do a lot of things on foot, by bus and by Metro.
The staff is friendly and responsive. The breakfast was very good. We'll come back with no problem.

You can't go wrong with Ibis, their hotel chain is pretty minimalistic and identical in most of the places found. This one is actually located in a great place and very close to central London. Within 5 minutes walking distance, you can find some good restaurants, the tube station as well as a supermarket.

The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful right off the bat. We had just travelled over from Australia so it was nice to have our room already ready when we got there. The room was bigger than expected, and the shower was reasonably sized. There's a good breakfast menu and they offer a selection of "to go" breakfasts in small tubs which we found very handy. The hotel is right next to Southwark subway station on the Jubilee line so it was easy getting around and to the airport. It's also a short walk to London Eye. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hotel, classic Ibis quality with in addition a very comfortable location for the metro and without confusion. Stay without any kind of ptoblema. Recommended.

Good quality hotel. The room we had booked is clean and great. The service is up to the task as well.

The location is undisputed top. Tube station Southwark and Waterloo Connect Blackfrais quickly with all other districts. Westminster and Buckingham are easy to reach if you are walking. The staff is very young, and very helpful. The rooms are stop Ibisstandart. The wet cells, as a plastic bunker in the room. The breakfast was perfectly fine and is European plus beans to bacon.

Nice hotel for visiting London: decent price and a good location. There's a subway station and several bus stops nearby to get you anywhere in the city. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. The daily breakfast buffet was good but it did cost extra. Depending on how high up your room is you could have a nice view of the city.

Pleased. Location was great. Close to all public transportation and nice restaurants that were affordable. The room was pleasant and staff was friendly. We ended every night at the bar and the staff were very nice as well. A great home away from home.

Very modern hotel and well received. All my bookings were ready for me upon arrival, including early check-in which the room was ready on time. The room was a tad small for a stay longer then 2-3 days, especially the hanging space is limited. Would be best suited to an overnight stay — in fact ideal. Wet room bathroom is a great space saver, but the floor is prone to getting wet so flip flops or sliders are recommended, especially if you are wearing socks and need to go in shortly after showering. Location is perfect, just meters from the tube and a short walk to Waterloo. Makes getting in and out easy. Close proximity to embankment with countless options for food and drinks. Would stay there again if travelling on my own, or only in London for a day or two. Didn’t sample the breakfasts, but the bar is convenient for a night cap.

We like Ibis. The rooms whilst not spacious are comfortable and have reasonable storage space. My wife finds the 'pod' bathroom very user friendly. Easy walk in shower and close and well lit mirror above the wash basin. Breakfast can be busy but we were directed to a table quickly. The staff kept the buffet well stocked and it was good to have nicely poached eggs instead of the stodgy scrambled mess one often finds. The highlight of our stay was complimentary glasses of bubbly after our Italian waitress from Turin learnt that were were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Thank you.

Thought it was okay, however I didn't book breakfast since we are vegan. Informed the personal about this on arrival, asked what was available, was told beans, hash browns, croissants, fruit, bread etc. Are the hash browns fried in vegetable oil, aren't the croissants made with butter etc? Do you supply vegan milk, yogurt etc? No. We tried the breakfast once, never again. Over ten pounds per head and you can't even be bothered to supply milk or cheese for us. We're offered beans etc, I don't want a cooked breakfast (especially one that consists of beans on toast), I want a selection of bread and things to go on that bread. Jam isn't enough. I want yogurt to go with the fruit. I've booked to stay at Ibis Styles in Glasgow next week and have paid for breakfast in advance. I informed the hotel months ago that we're vegan. There had better be a better selection otherwise I will hit the roof.

We spent one night at Ibis Blackfriars and were impressed from the start: speedy check-in, friendly staff, pleasant surroundings. The room was clean, compact and comfortable. The choice of foods offered for breakfast exceeded expectations: pastries, cereal, cheeses, meats, the full English… Beautiful. Check-out was hassle-free and there was disabled parking just around the corner (a bonus when you're on crutches, as I am). We will definitely be back.

Very small room, very weird bathroom, small tv, you can't fully open the Window, there is no iron, they give you only gel tubes for full body cleaning, besides that you are very close to the metro station and eye of london.

Good location opposite the Shard and is very acgedor and nice girls.

Clean, and comfortable. Very close (2 mins walk) to Southwark station. Chic entrance and reception. Bar/restaurant has nice atmosphere and good food/drink. Very affordable considering London's high level of expense. Recommended to anyone travelling to London for business and leisure.

Tea, chajnichek, staff, excellent hotel.

Rooms are poky, but clean and bed comfortable. Decent selection at breakfast as well. If possible, try and get a room that's not next door to someone who likes playing chinese pop music at 5.30 am.

The hotel we chose for our last night in London. Supposed it was 4 star, but it was not enough. Very modern, we had a view of the London Eyes, very good.

Room was very clean, two very spacious. We had our breakfast in the hotel, very good choice. Bar is very good, staff very friendly. Location: 10 minutes away from the London Eye and other attractions in walking distance. There are many restaurants nearby, right between two metro stations. We travel by public bus tour in London, this is a good way, saw a lot of attractions. Because it is a very good hotel.

Modern design, very nice and compact rooms, I requested higher room, my room view was to the london eye, very nice view, the breakfast wasnt included, it expensive but very rich BF. 1 minute walk from metro station, 5 minutes walk from the river.

Great hotel close to the southwark underground station. The only thing I can complain about is the ala carte menu, the food felt cheap and was not worth the money, nearby restaurants are to recommend!

Great hotel, very comfy and clean rooms. As a bonus, our view was facing the London Eye! Staff was very helpful, and the hotel breakfast (optional, for a small fee) was tasty. Also located close to the Southwark and Waterloo stations. Would absolutely stay here again!

Location great, very stylish hotel. Room is fully functional and clean. Just two minutes walk from Metro station and attractions are within walking distance. A little expensive (evaluation of £ 160 per night), probably because it was rush hour.

Modern and good value with good situation for South Bank and St Paul's etc; definite recommended.

Excellent hotel, excellent location. This one block from a metro station and 15 mins away from the big ben, Parliament, London eye, tower Bridge, etc.
If you need a super market near there is one one block from the metro of the corner.

Breakfast is good, bed is comfy, location is top. Only issue might be if u had noisy neighbors :)

Clean and modern excellent location.

Stayed for one night. Room was fine if a little uninspired. Good size. Plenty of storage for a couple of days. TV had a USB and HDMI in panel at the front. Maybe it was where I was but there was a low level mechanical noise somewhere but I didn't find it distracting. Breakfast was decent enough with plenty of choice. Was very busy at 8am. Check in and out was super quick.

London hotel is very expensive, so be prepared to pay more to prepare. This hotel in a lot near a metro station, so you can easily go to London. Room size is good, simple single. They need to put electrical outlets in just the right places, like in the bathroom and bed. If you sit on the bed, resting on the back against the wall, sliding to the floor, they need to be nailed to the bed on the floor. Showers heated for a long time, I spent a few minutes, it wastes a lot of water.

Good location, within minutes of Southwark tube station, quite basic but modern, comfortable, clean. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel we have found it excellent. Clean, comfortable and well located. Relationship quality-unbeatable price. The staff very friendly. I recommend it without hesitation.

Chose to save saw that served for Christmas (24-27 August), this hotel turned out to be a fantastic choice, and probably will be for the next stays. Is in a simple but a 50 mt from metro Southwark Jubilee line, so it's very easy to get anywhere in London!
As for the room, it is not luxurious, but it's nice, really! Has everything you need (missing only the minibar), the bathroom is really well made, very easy! Room cleanliness is impeccable! All surfaces are clean (I tried cleaning with a cleaning agent for safety and nothing was already clean lunge), the most distant points I found a hint of dust, but I'm talking points that few achieve. Daily report the State-room presentation!
Wi-Fi (free), contrary to what I've read around, it is very fast (a few customers perhaps? ), I sailed to 30 mbps down and 10 (ten) mbps upload speed!
I haven't tried other services, such as catering, but still recommend it to anyone who is looking for simplicity is quality!

Very good location, close to the Underground, close to the Train for Gatwick. Walking distance to many of the tourist sites. Very clean. Helpful staff. But not my favorite hotel stay. I was restless both nights, not my favorite mattress to sleep on.

Nothing special, nothing awful either. Kind of sad rooms and neighbourhood, the five minute walk to the river and out of the south bank feel like long kms. Average breakfast (you won't feel like having two of anything). You won't feel like spending time in the room either, although it could be much smaller and it is clean and new. Definitely lack of storage. The double glazing is good and you can't hear the traffic at all, but you do hear the doors banging in the corridor. Haven't tried the restaurant, looks unappetizing. Uncomfortable beds (not flat!, ours sinks in the middle), and unusable pillow, huge and hard as if it was a sofa cushion; I'm sleeping (or trying to) without it. The hotel would deserve 3 stars for its neutrality if it wasn't for the ridiculous prices.

Rarely have such a good and beautiful ibis encountered :) and the location is simply awesome. U-Bahn in 3min distance.

Love this hotel. Does not feel budget at all. Great views of the London Eye so request this when booking. Location is top! walking distance to a lot of attractions, tube station just 100m around corner and a great restaurant and shops street just around the corner called 'the cut'. Highly recommend.

Far to find good place for food. Lost my laundry there. Bad service. Boring breakfast menu. Had stayed there for 1 week and the same food everyday.

This hotel is recommended if you are at a good price. This is located 20 meters from the nearest underground which allows you to communicate with the entire city. You can walk to the ferris wheel or big ben among other tourist points around. The hotel is modern with small rooms, but also modern and clean. The bathroom is superpequeño but once inside is not bad for what you are going to the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and speaking English. Near there are restaurants, among them a Spanish. If you find it at a good price go there.

I'm in the hotel. I do not like the room. It is a corner with a ventanuco that you can't see the sky. The air conditioning is dripping down the night and can't sleep. There is an extra bed that needs to be moved to go to the bathroom. In the hotel they tell me that they are going to change to a different room but 2 nights later I'm still here.

Expensive for an ibis, but not the usual ibis either. Good location. Nice lobby, larger than the usual ibis rooms, otherwise you wouldn't want this for 3 nights in London. Shower module a bit more roomy than standard ibis. Even a hairdryer. Not enough smartphone loading sockets. Near Southwark station. Groceries and cafes, restaurants nearby. Ventilation works, though heating takes a long time. Very good mattress.

Nice budget hotel with excellent customer service! My wife and I stay in this hotel for 3 nights in December 2013 for celebrating the New Year’s eve in this amazing city. The hotel is very close to the underground (1 minute walk to Soutwark station) and a lot of tourist attraction. The room (928) were small but more than enough room for two people. There is nothing to complain about the cleaning and the bed was very comfortable (maybe the best bed in any hotel I have visited so far! ) The staff is really nice and very helpful. There are free Wi-Fi throughout (limited speed but it’s possible to pay for “unlimited” speed). Beautiful and modern on site bar and restaurant (see my attached photos) with 24/7 meal and drinks menu. Breakfast in the restaurant was abundant with plenty of choice All in all a pleasant stay in a nice hotel. This hotel is good value for money! Regards Svein-Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.

Excellent hotel, staff Grete, Tristian and Tamas Excellent service wanting me to come down for supper and a drink at night. Cleaning staff and front desk were pleasant and helpful. When I come back to London I will stay here as it is very central. My wife and I walked everywhere, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, the Eye, West Minister Abbey and all the other big tourist attractions all about an 1/2 to 1 hour walk. Very central to all the good eating and shopping.

It is only fair and necessary to visit London. To 100 of the Subway. Good decoration, maintenance and quality of what they offer.
