Stayed in a twin room (330) for 3 nights and overall had a lovely time at the hotel. Beds were firm and comfortable, self controlled air con was good and the shower had decent water pressure. Not much within the area though, but fine to stay there for a few days. All staff were courteous and professional.

Was very easy to find, a short walk from Paddington station. Staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Always friendly every time we came in and out of the hotel. Nice, clean room. Weirdly they gave you 2 coffees/tea/milk etc but only 1 packet of biscuits. We didn't use the bar or restaurant as we had already decided on going elsewhere before we arrived so I cannot comment on then.

Very centrally located hotel in good surroundings, staff very friendly and always anxious to see rooms at first sight very good and high quality, bed is absolutely top. Unfortunately no real closet available, moreover the bathroom is extremely small, while showers are practically in front of the toilet and makes the whole bathroom wet, breakfast is sufficient and good, for longer stays it could be monotonous, for the price at the location Still highly recommend.

Our best trip to date! Martina and the incredible team at Park Grand London Paddington went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I felt at home and comfortable during our stay. This has been hands down the best hotel experience that we have ever had, and it is all credited to their amazing staff members. They truly are the best. The location is great, the breakfast is plentiful, and the rooms are stocked with all the comfortable of home. Look no further, this is the perfect place to stay on your trip to London.

Large rooms, comfortable. Location close to metro and train, but in a quiet neighborhood. Structure a little basic for the category of hotel and the rates.

Very good option while staying in Lonson. Pros: fantastic breakfast buffet, short walk from 3 tube stations, very good shower, decent size room, much cheaper than most other hotels. Cons: no outlets by the bed, carpet was very tired. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is in a convenient location near both Lancaster Gate and Paddington Station. The room was tidy but there was very little storage space. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased at a discounted price the night before. Sound proofing is very poor and you can hear everything in the corridor and other rooms. The toilet smelled like a sewage plant.

Small room, wardrobe very thin… no more than 2-3 jackets. Clean. The crew very gentle. Breakfast good.

Staff and service was amazing, room was cosy and comfortable. If you want calm and central area in London while you are here I would highly recommend!

Wish they explained how small the rooms really were. Really really tiny, enough space for a suit in the "wardrobe" (slot in the wall) and that's it. No charging points behind the bedside tables and an extremely ting bathroom where the room itself is the shower (like a boat). No real space for luggage for more than one person. Weirdly no coat hook for me to hang my wet jacket after a day outside. Kind staff decent breakfast. Not too far from tube station (Paddington) but closes at night forcing you to get a cab or night bus.

Excellent hotel for a short stay in London. 5 mins walk from Paddington station, and staff are happy to give directions and call taxis on your behalf at any time. Rooms are nice and have every you could need — tending to be a tad all, but that's what you expect in London hotels unfortunately. The breakfast was good, with a large range of choice — the full English was perfect, and the warm pastries after were just as good! Would fully recommend this hotel for a stay — the lower priced rooms may not be extravagant luxury but offer a comfortable stay, with a good comfy bed, and a powerful shower. What more do you need?

Small but clean and well cared for. Very nice staff, great location to get a two minute walk to the Lancaster Gate Metro station on the Red Line.

Was transferred to this hotel at the last minute. Abt 10mins walk to the nearest underground station-Paddington. Room was clean but small, not much walking space. Bathroom & shower are together in a confined walking space of 2x4 steps. Once you shower, the whole floor is wet. Basin tap was incredibly tight for normal use. Checking in was easy and counter staff are quite friendly. But it was pretty amazing to see that the cleaning staff was super soured face with an attitude. We were sitting on the at the reception in the early morning and she doesn't care if you were sitting there and we even have to lift our feet for her to mop the floor. We don't even get this in a budget inn anywhere else. What an experience!

Easily the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We go to check in and they don't have our reservation that was moved from their sister property (ok, not entirely your fault). That get us situated finally and we are headed to our rooms only to discover we are in the BASEMENT. I didn't know this was a thing that any decent priced hotel would do to their guests or charge them for. I enter my room to the stench of something rotting, likely from the mini fridge. I go over to my "window" which is literally some kind of joke as there is a door on the other side of it when I open it. The shower is missing a door. The TV remote only works from 2ft away. It goes on and on. Do not book here for the simple fact that you could end up on floor B like me.

Very good hotel, excellent night. I had the opportunity to be upgraded it was very cool. The breakfast is good and the service of the hotel is welcoming and smiling.
The area in which the hotel is located is very quiet, it is very nice to walk there.

The hotel and staff were great. The location was perfect. The only problem I had was that the room was a little small even though we got a free upgrade.

I stayed here recently for one night while attending a workshop in London. The compact double room I stayed in did exactly what I needed — it was small (as expected), but clean and comfortable with a good shower. Very conveniently located for Hyde Park and Paddington Station. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when I'm down in London for work.

Expensive and not very clean but nice neighborhood.

Very, very small rooms and bath rooms. Mine was only a bit larger than the king sized bed inside. But this is what you get in London for that price 300 m north of Hyde Park and 8 minutes walking distance to Paddington Underground Station. It's more or less clean and is enough for a short stay. The breakfast is ok and will bring you over the day until lunch. After a week it gets a bit dreary but it fits the needs. As usual in London it's nearly impossible to find a place to park your car.

Great hotel. Impeccable service. Excellent cleanliness. A hotel with all the comforts average spending. But it's worth it!

Staff were very accomodating. They moved us from a basement room to one on the 3rd floor on request. The cooked breakfast was excellent, as was the location.

I stayed in the sector in front of the hotel lobby, they did not have elevator and stairs narrow and tortuous. A torture!

The service in this hotel is just perfect and I would specially thank Alvin for everything he provided my family with he was just so friendly and so helpful and never hesitated to help i'm sure my family wouldn't have such a pleasant stay without that gentleman help, so thank you Mr. Alvin.

5 stars for the chef who runs the kitchen. The biryani dish is almost as good as my mother's. The rooms may be a little cramped but the shower / bathroom facilities are excellent. Fresh baked goods are also served at breakfast.

Neat, clean, compact hotel. Hair drier fixed to the wall, no where near a mirror. Good location.

Booked this hotel on booking. But the hotel said they cannot authorize my card. It's very odd because my card can pay online on many websites and definitely has enough money. I asked the hotel via Email but did not receive response towards this problem. I have to change hotel two days before my trip. Very disappointed.

I have been visiting this hotel pretty often. The experience gets better with every time I visit. How can everybody be nice is that's what amazes me. Be it the staff at reception, restaurant or the housekeeping. Special thanks the Sanish (chef) and Penka (restaurant manager) for such amazing breakfast. Nitish (Manager) one of the most amazing person we have come across in long time. God bless you all!

Small room, but the service was great. Got a wet towel to welcome me on the hot day and free juice. The air con was a bit noisy but I guess it isn't used that much. Overall very nice though.

Central and with good facilities, small but well-designed rooms. Gym to improve.

Puluzia and excellent kindness! Only flaw the bathroom Xké small and no shower cubicle and the traditional horrendous carpet… x the rest perfect and even provide you with mobile phone with free calls also to Italy… by the way my room was great x accuracy the "Club room".

Great hotel in a good location if ever so slightly off the beaten track. The rooms feel high grade and the price Is reasonable for London. Bathrooms are great if a little compact. They have great 20Mb Wi-Fi for free in the rooms (why don't more hotels gave this). They would get more stars if only the had more plug sockets in the room or sockets near the bedside tables and desk.

Excellent bedrooms, excellent staff and excellent food. The staff were very nice and welcoming and helped my family and I through our whole experience in London. The food was great quality food that kept us going for a long time. The rooms were comfy and clean and they gave us exactly what we needed. My family and I will be coming back again.

Great value, very well located to catch the train to LHR in the morning, helpful staff. There are some basement rooms, so maybe that's what people are complaining about. The 4th floor room was great. The rooms ARE small, so if you plan to spend a lot of time in the room, maybe look elsewhere. To sleep and shower, it was great.

I knew the hotel from a visit to 2008 or 2009. I was at that time quite done. The rooms are small, but pretty nice equipped. The staff was and is very nice and also the breakfast leaves not much actually.
When you visit this year, I was very disappointed. Obviously has been at the facility and the rooms no longer altered or used in stand, the wooden panelling/panels in the room was totally damaged, as the color of the Windows (wood) to peel. The Windows are secured, can be hardly opened. One even less, since it was completely warped. Nevertheless, they were but hardly close (einglasig) and rather generous. Not so perfect in December.
We had a room on the 4th floor and thus had the air conditioning or ventilation systems about us, which brummten all night.
All in all the stay was carried by the friendliness, service and cleanliness in order. The maintenance is but underground.

Staff wanted to charge me for breakfast on check out although I had opted out of the expensive breakfast on booking and when I checked in, and never had any. The manager was called and let me go but they later charged the breakfast on my credit card anyway. General management never replied to my emails afterwards. Also, the bathroom sucks, the beautiful design makes for impressive photos but can't stop the water from just flooding the whole bathroom and even the bedroom. Will never stay here again.

Avoid this hotel! It is absolutely horrid. The rooms are too small for any normal sized person to live in or to even unpack luggage. People in this hotel are unaware of the concept of windows. Breakfast is mediocre at best, while the staff is trying to compensate for all the flaws that this hotel has by being nice and helpful (which is the only nice thing about this hotel)
