Stayed here for first date with the missis returned for our 7 year anniversary and managed to get same room nice to see in 7 years the warm welcome and excellent food is still there sure the place is looking tied but a lot of building work and renevations going on our room was warm and cosy basics but great value for what we paid and the view is worth a stay alone evening meal was lovely proper home cooking staff very friendly breakfast was very good plenty too set us up for the day it must be hard trying to run a hotel with all the work going on but they manage very well all in all a great anniversary and a defenate return lovely walk along the Thames too a nice escape from the rat race without being too far away.

We stayed 1 night and the room was ok just a few finishing touches needed ie taking off the trade labels of the sink. No batteries in remote for TV. Breakfast was ok mine was a little burnt in parts. The table was dirty and varnish was coming off and that made it sticky. However the staff was welcoming but I would say that I would not stay at the same price as it is overpriced.
