Great place to sit inside on a cold day with a great wood burning stove.

Called in on off chance, as driven past lots of times, despite it being Sunday and we hadn’t booked they set up a table for us right away. Carvery was lush especially the red cabbage. I would deffo visit again. Just I’d book next time 😘

We had a Sunday carvery for my fathers wake, the food was not very good for the £11 paid. The vegetables were all sitting in water this ment your plate was swimming with water, the sprouts were cooked to an inch of there life and the cauliflower cheese was cooked so much it was just mush, the roast potatoes had only been shown the roasting pan, they were white not a bit of brown on them, the gravy was so thin. The meat and Yorkshire puddings were good. Sorry won’t be revisiting felt very let down.

Just got back from a 2 night break at the Lenchford, we had an absolutely lovely stay. Check in was easy, rooms were lovely and clean with all the facilities needed. Lovely view of the river and a balcony, beautiful! Perfect location for west Midlands safari Park, only 20 mins away and only 15 mins from M5 so really easy location. We ate here both nights plus today Sunday Carvery and the food is beautiful, everything so beautifully cooked and presented, plus served nice and hot. Highly recommend the cod Loin on the dinner menu 😁 Everywhere was really clean, staff really attentive and chatty and fabulous with our 5 year old boy. Thank you Lenchford, something tells me we will all be returning. 👍👍

Me and the hubby decided to come for lunch here as we have been before and love it, the food, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the best is the surroundings. Today I got to try the new pulled pork burger and I must say it was amazing went down a treat.

Lush. Just finished shielding in Wales. Felt so safe 2 metres everywhere. I have stayed here before and it hasn't changed. Well done to all the staff it can't be easy to open up with all new rules in place. We will be back.

Third visit here, such a shame to see the water entering the ground floors, love it here, always friendly and warm, great food and lovely location, normally on the banks of the Severn, hopefully it will recede tonight.

Because they had a party of OAP’s having a carvery they stopped serving food from 12.30 till 1.30 which was very annoying when we had ordered food & a friend arrived 5 mins after ordering. They refused to add a hot meal to our order & could only offer a sandwich to the extra person. This is bad customer service as we had telephoned that morning to ask if we needed to book a table & were told we didn’t especially if we were sitting outside! This was a birthday celebration lunch ruined by bad service.
I’d go back for a drink as the setting is beautiful by the river but would not eat there again.

Great location by the river, we stopped overnight after a days fishing, the room was comfortable and clean with a nice view of the river and countryside. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast which was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful even after I knocked my pint over in the bar… oops.

This is a really beautiful place, where you can stay for free for a night with your van, if you are member of BritStops. You're just by a river, where houseboats come along, you can go for a walk through the woods along the riverside, have a nice meal at the hotel and a lovely cider!

Setting by the river was lovely but not toddler friendly at all. Room was not made up for the children, No tea or coffee in our room and the food was okay but it took 40 minutes to come to the table. The children's food was cooked and just sitting on the hot plate. Breakfast was cheap sausages and bacon and not a lot to choice if u don't like a cooked breakfast. One of our party was still eating their cereal when not breakfast was brought out and we were told it was because they wanted to get clean up in the kitchen even though it states breakfast is until 10am thus was at 9.30am. Then we were made to feel uncomfortable while we were eating as they made it very clear they wanted to clear the room. Very disappointed.

Hotel/pub/restaurant by the river. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet. As others have said, food was good enough and service was good enough, hence four stars.

Stayed on their small campsite for a night to test out our camper, lovely spot right on the river. New toilets accessible all night. Missed out on testing the food as we arrived too late.

Fantastic setting overlooking the river. Great food and very reasonable prices. It is well worth a visit for either lunch or dinner during this warm weather. I’ve been twice since I found it a few weeks ago.

The setting by the river is very beautiful. The food is always excellent and very reasonable, they have bought out a range of basket meals and a very good price of £6 but it does not detract from the quality. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

The staff are superb — especially Dawn! Made to feel so welcome. Food is amazing. Management have clearly invested alot of time and money in refurbishing this once out of date venue into an up to date pleasant establishment. Well worth a visit to see.

Recently stayed a couple of nights at the Lenchford inn, really friendly staff, the room was lovely, bed comfy and the view from room was pleasant overlooking the river. The food was excellent, would highly recommend a stay here, the location is convenient. Such a lovely relaxing break.

Refurbished early 2018, not very good for an overnight stay but set in a very nice location and would be great to pop down to for a drink on a nice day.

Good beer, good food, very friendly staff. I would guess it is ridiculously busy in the Summer but out of season it is great.

Good service and polite staff, room was basic, good for 1 or 2 nights but I wouldn't choose here for an extended period although was fine for the price I had some lovely views and access to a shared balcony that would be perfect in nice weather.

O stars poor all round food horrible service rude drink glasses had lip stick on never again wasted hour of our life spent in this place. Same it's not under new management.

Just returned from a very pleasant and relaxing short stay at the Lenchford Inn. The room was comfortable with a picturesque view of the river, the owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed all the meals particularly the full English breakfast which was perfect. Thank you for looking after us so well.

We stayed on the Friday night … at the Lenchford Inn The room we stayed in was superb I would love to have taken the mattress home with us … had a very good nights sleep We had a great night … it was my partners birthday … who put some music/karaoke the atmosphere was brilliant … we should do this again Wendy & Ian the owners put a spread on for his birthday it was lovely and there was so much food … the spring rolls were delicious, Thank you to all the staff, especially chef Matt Wendy and Ian I wish you both all the best in the future … We will definitely be returning.

We have just returned from a short break at the Lenchford Inn. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean with everything we needed plus a balcony with a beautiful view over the River Severn. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the home-made salmon fishcake and my husband said the gammon was so tender he hardly needed to chew it! After our meals we went through to the well-stocked bar where staff and guests joined together to make a wonderful atmosphere. The break was a gift to me but we have both said we would definitely return in the future. Kind Regards Mary & Mick.

Given 3 stars for the owners as very friendly but if it were on facilities alone, I would only give 2 stars. Had Room 10 — almost like a tiny flat. Small kitchen type area with microwave, kettle, fridge, breakfast bar and stools. Small courtesy refreshments, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, but no hot choc, mint or herbal teas or biscuits. Sitting room with chairs and futon and TV (no wallpsper behind). Window with broken blinds. Very dusty light fitting. Bathroom, modesty glass window but no curtains, shower not working, luke warm water. Good towels and clean. Bedroom with std double, good linen and comfy mattress. Dreadful dust under bed and paintwork behind bed. Over all, in need of serious TLC. Bar food ok, breakfast below average. Drinks expensive.

In the past I've always had great service and food here, this was till recently. I rang up on a Sunday and asked what time they started serving food. The guy on the phone assured me I didn't need to book a table and they served food till late afternoon. We arrived there about an hour later, ordered a drink and asked for the menu. We were then told they had run out of food and we wouldn't be able to have Sunday dinner there. I questioned this and asked the guy who was serving, the same one I spoke to on the telephone why he didn't offer to book me a table when we spoke and why did he tell me positively we will be able to eat there. He offered no proper reply and got very funny with us. The food is lovely but maybe the booking sedvics could be dealt with better, also more friendly staff please!

Nice location next to the river. A drink and sandwich were quickly served and both were good. The sunny weather certainly helped.

Wife's Cumberland Sausage and Onion sandwich was obviously not Cumberland sausages and missing the onions. Turkey sandwich was dry and coffee only Luke warm. Stunning views though.
