Best Sunday roast in the area. Gorgeous puddings. Fantastic value and food is always top quality. Niki and Dave are always very welcoming and I will happily recommend, and visit again soon.

First class, from the rooms to the home cooked fresh food, when in town I wouldn't book an where else.

Lovely Sunday Roast, although I felt the pork was much better quality than the beef. Good value for money and a nice proper pub! Will be going again.

Lovely pub. Wheelchair friendly. Very welcoming, clean and lovely atmosphere. Only have to ask if you need anything. Would definitely recommend. Next time we are down this way will rebook. Unfortunately we ate before we got there but food looked lush and we definitely missed out there. Oh and plenty on the plates cant go wrong on the price for food and accommodation.

This place is superb. I would give it more stars if I could. Lovely room good quality bed linen shower was great. Tassimo in room Suchards hot chocolate was delicious. Good free parking. Bar was friendly and well stocked. I didn't eat but food looked good. Will try it next time. Host was really nice chap not overly friendly and fake but really helpful and good at his job. Looking forward to next stay.

Came in for lunch today, the food was fantastic and the staff were so kind and accommodating to us, the disabled access is great and a real blessing for me today, I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and caring attitude I can’t wait to come back and would recommend to anyone thank you again and merry Christmas.

Called in on the off chance of Sunday Roast. It was really lovely, staff were excellent, certainly go there again!

We stayed in our motorhome at the Bell Inn which was advertised through Brit Stop. We found the Landlady very welcoming and friendly especially to our 2 dogs. We ordered food and drinks in which there was a very good selection. The fish pie was one of the best I'd tasted. From what I could see everybody was enjoying their food and it all looked very well presented and tasty. I would definitely go back to the Bell Inn again. We had a pleasant walk the next morning along the river bank before setting off on our journey home.

I spent a very pleasant evening with friends in The Bell. The food was excellent, the hosts charming and the locals very friendly. Once I retired for the night, my ensuite room was of a high standard and the bed extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Re: the individual who gave a one star rating. One look at his profile says it all.
