After just getting back from our second stay at this lovely place I can't say enough good things! Absolutely the best place I've ever stayed, food is home cooked and catered for my gluten free daughter with no fuss what so ever! Rooms are spotless, the owners are awesome. An absolute must when you visit the New Forest! Thank you for making our weekend even more amazing!

Could not have wished for a warmer welcome. The breakfast was truly delicious and set us up for the day. The rooms were cosy, spacious and extremely clean. Definitely would stay again when in the New Forest a perfect base for discovering. Thank you David and Rosetta.

Our second time staying at this fantastic guesthouse, everything is perfect and nothing is to much trouble. Amazing hosts, beautiful clean house, spacious rooms equipped with everything you need, and a superb breakfast laid on every day, 100% recommended, we would never go any where else!

Adrian and I had a lovely couple of days staying here. What a beautifully clean and welcoming establishment. The rooms were tastefully decorated and well equipped, the breakfast was excellent and Rosetta and DAVID were fantastic hosts. We will definitely be returning.

Had a great, comfortable stay here. We were there for 2 nights. Everything you could need in your room and it’s in a great location. Breakfast was a great start to the day and the hosts very welcoming.

Recommend staying with Rosie and David at their beautiful guest house. Warm welcome when we arrived, interaction with our six year old too. Room was very spacious with tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in the room too. Huge comfortable bed, power shower with shower gel and full English breakfast freshly cooked with thick bacon, not greasy. Cereal, toast, fruit all available too. Short walk to the pubs and restaurants and next to the entrance to the New Forest Park. Great for an evening walk with the pony’s.

Great weekend away at Forest Side Guesthouse to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, David & Rosetta made us feel very welcome. With all the flowers out in and around the garden it looked so pretty, was very clean inside, room was very big and lovely having 2 chairs to sit by the window looking out just relaxing with a cup of tea. Breakfast was fantastic everything you could wish for and would definitely like to go back for another stay in the future. 5***** starts here. Thank you.

Beautiful location! This lovely guest house is ideally situated for the new forest, and for the local town of Lyndhurst which is a 5 minute walk away. Our room was en suite with a large bedroom and equally large bathroom. The owners were very friendly, and couldn't do enough for you. I would definitely visit this accommodation again!

Great guesthouse, lovely people, spotlessly clean, gorgeous room, superb breakfast. Couldn't get a better location opposite the forest and 5 minutes into the village where you have a great choice of restaurants, pubs and cafes. We will be returning next year and recommending Forest Side to our friends and family.

Beautiful guesthouse, fabulously decorated and gorgeous features such as stained glass windows, wooden staircase and gorgeous feature fireplaces. Such a warm welcome by the owners David & Rosetta, they are lovely people and you can tell how much they enjoy what they do. Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice. Spotlessly clean. Perfectly located to enjoy the New Forest, lots of walking and cycling trails nearby. Lots of good restaurants in the village so we didn't have to go far in the evening. We can't recommend this guesthouse enough, perfect in every way. If you are visiting the New Forest then look no further, this is the place to stay.

A perfect welcome, we had a room for three actually two rooms which becomes rare, the location is perfect just at the gates of the new forest and a few steps from the city center of Lyndhurst. Dave and Rosetta will welcome you with a smile and all that know how to live so much English. I recommend it.

Thank you for a fantastic stay this weekend you truly have a beautiful home in the perfect location and are the most perfect hosts. Cleanliness was 100%, plenty of choice and made to order breakfast which was delicious and the fridge with the snacks and drinks in was ideal. We 100% recommend this guesthouse to anyone wanting the most wonderful stay in the new forest.

My husband Mehul and I had a lovely overnight stay at Forest Side this weekend. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel straight at home and very welcome by David and Rosetta. The guest house itself is beautifully decorated and the room was very comfy, with everything we could need for our stay. We had a lovely night's sleep — both of us sleeping right through which is unusual, and breakfast in the morning was delicious. I just had options from the buffet, which was was plentiful and fresh. Mehul had a veggie breakfast which he said was lovely — particularly the eggs! We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for a longer visit later in the year! Thank you David and Rosie for making our weekend so enjoyable!

Fantastic hosts, great location close to the town and right on the forest doorstep. Excellent choice of breakfasts and snacks and drinks in the room itself. Highly recommend staying here if visiting Lyndhurst or the New Forest.

This is a lovely place to stay. The house is well kept and one of the best I have stayed in as a B and B, rooms are very meticulously clean and spacious. The breakfast was vary nice. I would recommend this as the place to stay.
