A very pleasurable stay nothing was to much trouble for the staff to help you with very friendly highly recommended.

Wifi does not work (really annoying as it's advertised). Rooms are cold. No doubles available (had to rearrange ourselves). Noisy drummers causing vibrations to all the rooms. Haven't yet tried the food.

Broken lamps and lamp stand on our room. Cheap pine cabinets that were broken and a carpet that looked like it had seen better, much better, days.

A wonderful friendly place to stay — room very comfortable and fantastic deep bath so enjoyed a fabulous bubble bath 🛀

Lovely hotel — poor rude and offencive staff. Arriving at this lovely hotel I was greeted by two polite and informatuve gentlemen who gave general directions and rule to the eatablishment, a folded piece of paper was given and I was told to read it. CHECK OUT — I got knocked on 3-4 times at just after 1000hrs, Walking downstaris im faced with rude member of staff who actually came to my room once already, she told me that she was charging my card for staying in to room too long it was around 1040, (bearing in mind I was nevr verballly given a check out time) one assumed it was like most at 11. In an event THIS being the main complaint is the female staffs attitude, it was djscjsting, shouting calling me a liar, saying I knew anout the checkn out time, because 'the men' told me. I simply said if I was told to be out by 1000 I would of been out by 0945, I assumed it was 1100 and with no signage in the room and nothing verbal I went along with leaving at or before 1100. This rude member of staff threw a tentrum, left the bar and said dhe wouldnt speak to me any more and shes going to and get the men. When she was gone I notived descrepencies on my room bills also… Which the frmale got even more angry at and just pointed at the signature that I made. The two gentelmen staff were kind throughout and well mannered.

I went here for a Thai, fantastic food and service is excellent.

Stayed a few nights while visiting RIAT 2017. Not too bad a location, easily accessible by Train, car and bus. Managed to find a car parking space at the rear with not too many problems. Room was roomy and had acceptable levels of comfort and cleanliness. Staff were friendly and food was OK. We missed breakfast one morning as we had to set of early for the airshow and it was served a little bit later. No problem with this. Stroud itself was an 'interesting' experience — We found the local Witherspoon's to be a decent enough place to get dinner and drinks — Lively, cheap and friendly enough. Very reasonably priced and would stay again and recommend.

Nice hôtel with excellent breakfast. Si more this is à pub where you Can drink excellent local beers…

Stayed here as a stop over for Cheltenham races hotel is clean breakfast fabulous it’s my 2nd stay here in 3 years will be back very reasonable.

Bit tired. Shower wasn't great. The beds where comfortable.

Basic rooms very clean the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant is amazing and not expensive, right in the town centre and very reasonable price.

The reason why I took away one star is because the chicken was slinky and frozen and so was the spring rolls the could of mad it better but they didn't do not eat here.

Wow! Wonderful hotel, clean, tidy with friendly staff, excellent breakfast, close to town centre and all amenities, checkout their Thai menu.

Had a wonderful evening meal here with my Thai wife for my Birthday. Food and service excellent, would recomend the Resteraunt to anyone wishing to eat authentic Thai food.

Good location, adequate rooms though kept awake between 3am and 6am by furniture being scraped across floors, running up and down stairs and a very loud tv!

Staff are rude, do not want to help you what so ever! Food is very over priced, when you do get your food it is cold, you are made to feel that you are over staying your welcome and made to feel very un welcomed.

Very pleasant staff. My room was smallish but clean. Street noise on the road side of the hotel.

Old hotel, so bit creeky and tired looking. Could do with refurb. Doors open inwards directly into bedrooms, so can be a lack of privacy. Initial room too noisy. Opened onto train station. Ironically trains noise was minimal, although noise from slamming car doors and alarms throughout night were problematical! However clean rooms, full english breakfast was good. Hotel staff friendly and moved us to another room on request. Good central location. Good for commuters.

First visit here and we had a terrible experience last night. Service was poor and waitress clearly didn't know the menu, resulting in only 3 mains being served instead of the 4 ordered (there were 4 adults eating! ). Also one of the mains were incorrect. When we asked to speak to the manager she was disinterested and offered to send out the 4th meal even though our 2 friends had finished theirs and I left mine as it was not what I ordered! We refused to pay for our main meals and left! Real shame that the staff are not trained correctly and the manager is clearly not managing well! We will never eat here again!

Friendly staff and a big room.

Most hotels can be separated into two main elements; staff and facilities. The imperial scores 5/5 for staff, but much lower for facilities. I'm sure that the building was once a grand affair, but the lack of maintenance and upkeep is now showing. Loud creaky floorboards, broken and improperly working fixtures and a lack of a lift all point towards a building that needs modernising. The stay was made passable by the helpful and friendly staff.

Not a bad thai restaurant. Staff ok and food respectable.

Booked for a meal for 5 on the Saturday leaving phone number. Arrived on the Monday for said meal only to be told that they were not cooking that day. Friends we had with us were from Australia who were left very unimpressed. We have used the Imperial Thai Restaurant many times and always been pleased but on this occasion, the least they could have done was ring us before we travelled on the Monday to say they should not have taken the booking.

The food is good! The service, well. I base this on several occasions not one. Food is really good, last time it was let down by missing our entire starters for a takeaway, I even questioned the quantity of food before leaving but left without checking thoroughly and the staff did not think to check either. Response on complaint was not apologetic in a caring way just dismissive and free prawn crackers. I don't like prawn crackers and that's why we didn't order them in the 1st place. By the time we went back to collect and return to eat, the rice was one lump. Thanks. Eating in Is good but drinks overpriced, best selection locally on tap but you pay for it. Just had another takeaway and was told of a 10 minute delay upon arrival at the advised time, would I like a drink? Go on then. £2.40 a half then home to find dry food in the takeaway. 10 minutes delay was perhaps not necessary. While waiting others arrived for collections and they also were told 10 minutes until it's ready. The restaurant was not busy! : (real shame as I like the food but not if delayed to make me buy a drink. Could be improved easily and I hope I get to raise this review in the future.

Went to open mike night good music friendly bar staff.

Had a great meal here just last night. Good food and a nice atmosphere. Apparently it has been taken over by new owners recently — they seem to be doing a good job.

Best thai food in the county. Its a very old but Nice restaurant to dine.
