Great find. We were there on Friday. It was going to be a sandwich at the NT West Wycombe Park … WW Park is not open on a Friday. What a treat, lovely old traditional pub, I think an old coaching Inn? Great menu with Fish, Steaks, Pies and most things in between, with table service, all beautifully cooked and presented. Good choice of Beers, Wines and Spirits. Although it was actually too warm to sit outside (how often do you get to say that in the UK) there is a lovely private beer garden with tables and sunshades. On our next visit to WW Park, sorry NT cafe but it's the George and Dragon for lunch. ☺

Our second visit to this lovely old pub and the food was just as good as our first visit. The service was excellent and they accommodated the kids nicely. They have a decent selection of beers and wines and did I mention the food?

Great quirky place with really friendly staff just by some beautiful country side. Me and partner had a good old time.

While the service was very good, I found the roast a little overpriced and have definitely had better cooked mean.

My wife and I had a really great night at the George and Dragon and would highly recommend anyone pay them a visit! The old coaching inn is an amazing place, rambling and not a straight line in the place! The inn has been looked after very well and it is very comfy and homely, you can imagine how welcome it would have been for a traveller in the age of the horse. Our hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. After a good walk up to the hill, we came back ready for a good meal, and weren't disappointed! The beer in the bar was very well kept, from a local brewery and the food very good indeed. My wife said her fish was the best she can remember! All in all a wonderful experience! Thank you!

Pub is really good. One of the best pup food I had, service is efficient, staff polite. Cosy atmosphere inside. Highly recommended.

Stayed here a few times and will stay again. Be warned, the kitchen closes at 1800hrs on a Sunday and because they are popular there is a limited menu…

Pub was good, nice beer and food was good too. Not too pricey. Finding the parking was stressful, the gate at the front is narrow and the road v. Busy, there is a back way into the car park if you ignore the sign.

I've only been once and that was for a private meeting, but my experience is that the staff were friendly and the food was reasonable.

Perfect weekend away, lovely location, great food and service. Room was better than expected for a Public house Hotel. Will definitely visit again.

Nice place, Good food, Staff were reasonably accommodating, okay experience! We went here looking for some food before attending the "west wycombe chamber music festival" the place seemed very nice. At first we were turned away as the restaurant part of the pub was apparently fully booked. Luckily my Dad was a performer at the festival and the performers had booked a big table the staff seemed stressed by us jumping on the end of the table they faffed trying to find us some spare chairs in the end they managed to find some albeit that they felt like they were going to fall apart. Other than this and the toilet being outside. The rest of the visit was good the food we had was really nice and the bar staff were really friendly.

Amazing good food, great atmosphere lovely people and good service! Your typical local pub and restaurant experience with a real characteristic British touch. They have a big garden in the back as well… my new favourite UK "countryside" pub to go!

Terrible service from negligent staff who left my wife in tears. We have daughters with food allergies to dairy and soya so we have to be very careful where we eat. We spoke to the front of house and the head chef before ordering our meals to check the ingredients and yet they still served our daughter peas smothered in butter! And when we complained they said it was because they were busy and made up all kinds of excuses. In the end my wife was left furious and in tears by the experience. Avoid this place if you have any special dietary requirements.

Well decorated and typical countryside pub and hotel. Nice garden on the back where you can enjoy sunny weather and marvelous food, which is exquisite and well prepared. The overall price had few quids that could have been waved off IMHO, but it's worth returning.

Room was large and full of character, extremely comfy beds, the only downside was that there was no hot water in the morning (although we were up late). All the staff we met were very polite, pleasant and friendly. The meal that I ate was one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant (including Michelin star).

We stayed at the hotel as we had a wedding near by. The reception at the hotel was good, we arrived a bit earlier than check in time and are able to check in to the room already. The room was small but comfortabele and a good standard of cleanliness was maintained in both bed and bathroom. The bed was good, breakfast was good. Very friendly staff in hotel and pub. Would recommend.

My stay over night at The George & Dragon was great, clean rooms, very good food & nice atmosphere.

Comfortable and warm atmosphere with open fire in the winter. Very cosy and good for a quiet drink.

Great beer, food and friendly staff. My only negative is that it's a bit pricey.

Had the pork roast, advertised with apple sauce (which didn't arrive until we asked for it and then only arrived after we'd finished eating), the pork was sliced too thin and was very dry. The staff were slow to take orders, didn't bring cutlery until prompted and then had the cheek to charge more than the menu price for the meal (skimming off the top!? ). When challenged the young waitress very ungraciously took the additional amount off the bill. Needless to say I won't be returning here.

Excellent chicken tikka sandwich (warm) after a walk in the local Chiltern hills. Have eaten and had a post walk beer / sandwich here many times. Lovely, sympathetically decorated interior. Always friendly and welcoming bar staff. Current owners (@Jan 2016) are good … however it does seem to change management quite often : I very much hope that these folks stay.

Nice, quiet dinner spot. The pork belly was one of the best meals I had durning my trip!

Nice old coaching in in lovely village (a bit spoilt by traffic). Just called in for a pint of Rebellion — very nice pub for a lunch or casual drink.

Rooms being refurbished to higher standard, staff v. Friendly&helpful, beautiful old Coach House, 400 yrs old. Lots of local sites to see in beautiful Bucks. Well worth visiting, even if I am biased!
