Lovely people. Good food. Very clean.

Working in the area, stayed at this hotel and loved it.

Done exactly what it said it would Cheap Room was clean yet small Bathroom was clean I slept well here (our room was at the back of the hotel room 27) Yet in the morning, I wasn't sure if it was the cleaners or a pack of whaling banshees had been released up and down our corridor… honestly I've never heard such loud obnoxious people in my life… genuinely screaming down our corridor (definitely not children… even though they acted that way) It was 8:30am. So maybe have a sign saying "can we please keep it down to a low roar in the mornings" adorned each door. But apart from that I enjoyed my brief stay.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would, awful customer service, awful hotel, generally awful all round, avoid this hotel at all costs.

Quiet place, ample parking, enterior showing its age.

Paper thin walls. Main traffic street. Very noisy. Old worn out rooms. A place where workman might use.

The staff were friendly however my room was tiny, I would bang my head on the sloped ceilings in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. (Room 7A) The Wi-Fi is terrible so if you're like me and use a lot of data be careful as it will randomly disconnect frequently. (This cost me money as I did not realise I was using my phone credit to have data due to the fact I thought I was connected to the Wi-Fi) It is noisy as the walls are thin and there is also a railway line right next to it. There is also no AC and every time I slept I woke up in sweat. However the beds are comfy. Survivable but not ideal.

O. M. G. Cannot remember experiencing abysmal customer service like this. The young lady at the desk had no clue what customer care was. I was in the area for a bit of overnight work, sussed it out the night before and based on good vibes decided to bring the grandparents and young 'un out for an overnighter whilst I worked, and for us to explore the area during the day. Because it was short notice the Ambassador down the road and Rye court which looked amazing were sold out. Thought from the photos clifton lodge looked clean. Reserved a room with a cot. On arriving Antonia, the person on reception states her copy of the booking did not show a cot was needed, hence unable to do anything about it. Chastised us for not calling to arrange the cot, on showing that my copy showed special requirement-18month old baby will require a cot and stating that their website mentions that provisions can be made for a cot. Again shrugging it off and saying unable to help. Then goes off to check and produces a cot. On requesting for help to take it up to the room advises unable to do that as she is the only person on reception fine. Was very unhappy with the service. When asked if I could cancel breakfast advised that I booked online and would not be able to do. That. When I proceeded to look at the terms and conditions went away then came back and said would be able to cancel. O M G… don't these people get training. Don't go unless you really really really have absolutely no other choice.

Free upgrade to honeymoon suite! Amazing bathroom. Great breakfast. Cheap and cheerful.

Noisey not welcoming room too hot bed mattress dipped very uncomfortable.

Friendly staff, stayed on the hottest day of the year with no air con and the room backed into a railway so I didn't get much sleep, the bed wasn't very supportive.

Well located just a short distance from the centre of High Wycombe the room was ok clean and tidy even if the shower head wouldn't stay up, when we came for breakfast at 0830 on a Sunday there was nobody about and it was a further 20 mins before somebody turned up then they said that they where not going to do hot breakfast. Shame really as had had a good night's sleep. Would I stay again … not sure.

Very modern and clean room (room 25) en suite! Would recommend! Good parking facilities, breakfast also good.
