We stopped for quick drink and light lunch when passing… and so pleased we did! Lovely welcome from Harriet, beautiful surroundings and food and drink was well presented and to a very good standard, we'd love to visit this lovely pub again.

We had the most amazing meal here sat 23/06/18. The food was beautifully cooked and piping hot. The place was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall excellent and highly recommended.

It was a lovely place and the staff were wonderful, beds weren't the most comfortable, nice place and food looked really good.

Everything was delicious, gourmet cuisine but with good, proper portions. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff friendly and courteous. Definitely one to return to time and time again.

Wow, haven’t been here in ages, but some new people took it over last year and would highly recommend. Food is delicious (you can tell they take a lot of pride and time into making it look and taste great), staff are friendly and super accommodating, and even the decor and plates/cups etc are really good quality. Would recommend for big groups as well as a small dinner with friends.

Nice country pub which specialises in food. Lots of parking, nice, well kept ales and awesome garlic mushrooms on toast!

How to run a wonderful pub/inn from front of house to back. Delicious food — definitely the work of the Michelin star chef. Sunday lunch was a joy:-tender beef, superb vegetables, a beef wellington to die for, puds were well chosen and coffee was perfect. Nice wine list. We will be back and often.

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff. The main pub/restaurant bit was accessible and they are now looking into some more ramps for the bedrooms which aren't specifically adapted, which my disabled husband and I ended up in through a family mistake. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of hot and cold dishes. They even catered gluten free sausages so that my husband could have a full English breakfast, and also htave him GF bread rolls. We also attended a hot buffet in the evening which was entirely gluten free and partially dairy free which was delicious. As this was a family gathering they let us hang around in the pub just chatting for most of the day without bothering us about buying drinks or food. All in all a lovely weekend here.

Really good food and accomodating for walkers and young children. Bar staff are very friendly and polite.

The menu was good but a bit short on vegetarian options. The service was friendly. The place was bigger than it looked from passing, so good for groups.

Fast service and friendly staff Reasonably priced. Lovely decor. Some works were being carried out inside when we visited but this didn't cause any nuisance or noise during our lunch. Will be going back with the family as soon as possible.

Very good value for money and beautiful olde worlde place to stay. Excellent amenities and helpful staff. Restaurant food delicious. Bedroom comfortable and very clean but few snagging issues with some lights not working. All in all very enjoyable stay and will certainly be revisiting.

Under new management and getting off to a great start. Sunday lunch was terrific with great food and excellent service. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Rooms comfortable but a little tired (being refurbished shortly). All staff attentive and went the extra mile. Breakfast good quality and well cooked. Definitely be back next year.

Excellent place for an vernight (or more) stay with accommodation seperate to the pub/restaurant.

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting in the countryside of the Cotswolds. Inside the restaurant the decor is just as beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food we ate was gorgeous! A wonderful place to go for a relaxing afternoon or evening!

After a week in London exploring. The Bird in Hand was a perfect little escape. Everything we where hoping for. Always a bonus to be able to walk home from the bar and not pay for a taxi!

Stayed here for one night very good hotel and restaurant room large and clean had evening meal and breakfast very good going back in may best hotel at that price we have ever stayed in.

Came for a New Year's Eve wedding. Really great time!

Just spent the weekend here. Lovely friendly staff, food was very nice. Nice spacious room, I booked a twin room. Would definitely recommend this to friends and would certainly stay there again if I'm in the area.

Excellent food! We had a lovely Sunday roast yesterday 5 October for my birthday, I took the family there and they were all really impressed. The Pub itself was lovely inside, spacious, and something people tend not to mention the Toilets had definitely been updated since previous owners and were very clean indeed. :) Thank you.
