Chaotic and slow service. Staff preoccupied with setting up restaurant for lunch on a Saturday while customers of the regular farmers market driven in by a sudden rain shower all wanted coffees.

Very nice food, we were a party of 18 and they coped very well with our food order. I can highly recommend the warm ceser salad. Average cost, clean and tidy, staff very helpful and friendly.

Excellent meal even though we ordered just on kitchen closing the food was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent a place well worth visiting.

Rooms very small and hot with poor ventilation air con would be a distinct advantage. Dinner menu however was fantastic well cooked and presented dishes in a lovely dinning room staff very helpful and polite.

Value for money. Amazing breakfast. Locals made us feel very welcome.

Very old full of history. Excellent food and clean rooms. Makes a great relaxing place to stay.

We couldn’t find space in soho farmhouse, so find near there to stay one night, We look comfortable pretty place around farmhouse, and find this place,,,, Very Beautiful hotel in very special village, And local people staying for food and drinks are super friendly and welcoming for outsiders, and very very nice experience we had in this amazing hotel, I stay so many places but this place is one of most memorable amazing place, I highly recommend.

Good pub! Arrived on a Saturday night with 7 people and an infant, got a great table straight away and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had "hooky" fish & chips which were tasty and I had food jealousy at the burgers.

Set in a lovely village with great coffee shops and market square. Deddington Arms is a lovely village pub and hotel. I stayed there for a night where we meet up with friends and found the staff very friendly. The restaurant food was of very high standards which I was quite taken back by, very good indeed. The rooms had a quirky theme to them which was very pleasing on the eyes. All the usual things found there to make your stay comfortable. Our friends had a problem with their loo. Once reported the manager moved them straight away to an upgraded room with a 4 poster bed in. Very good service I must say. So on a final note you cant go wrong staying at the Deddington Arms.

Stopped for coffee. Very nice inside. Friendly staff. Lovely loos. Coffee was good (£2.60 for latte. ) Sofas too hard to be really comfortable.

We had a really lovely stay at the Deddington Arms Hotel, the staff were very friendly and our room was great. We had a beautiful meal for dinner, corn fed chicken and the salmon, and breakfast was also excellent. Whilst here we did the Deddington circular walk both ways (figure of 8 walk really) and spotted heaps of wildlife (deer, birds of prey, a lesser weasel and lots of birds).

We stayed here for the night after finding a very reasonable deal online. The room was very spacious and clean although the decor was slightly dated. We enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast and a few drinks in the bar afterwards. There is quite a good offering for breakfast from cereals and toast to cooked to order breakfast options. Deddinton itself is a lovely little village ideally situated visiting quite a few attractions nearby.

Accommodating & pleasant on hotel side. Asked nicely & the kitchen made me up a couple of hybrid room service meals to work around my food intolerances & my cravings, bless them! Nice restaurant too; had a beautifully cooked steak there one night.

Excellent pub restaurant. We had calves liver, cabbage, mashed potato and bacon. Every element was cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef. Service was also very good.

I was there for our Christmas work party, the food was excellent and very elegantly presented, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this as a venue for a function.

Went for dinner with some friends. Enjoyed the food and drink in a convivial and friendly atmosphere.

Decent pub with decent pub food. Nice and quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Occasionally have sport on the TV if you want to pop down to watch a match at the weekend or in the evening. Also have a car park out back. Probably the best pub in the village at the moment.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Everything you need in them. Check in/out very easy. Friendly pleasant staff with excellent customer service skills nothing to much trouble. Stayed for two nights and ate restaurant on both days. Lovely tasty and well cooked food. Would thoughly recommend.

Great breakfast, middling but solid evening food. Good rooms but virtually no phone reception — not their fault but worth knowing.

Well what can I say, if I hadn't already paid for an upgraded room I would be even more annoyed. Gordon the gofer would be happy in his "bump your head" bathroom cupboard, the bed has to have been one of the most uncomfortable things I have ever had the displeasure of getting onto. The remote control for the TV didn't work and nor did it, it was stuck on the settings screen. No reception once the bar had closed to resole this problem. The general style of the room is nice, just lower end quality. And what I hear you cry is the cost of all this fun, well for the princely sum £130 a night you too can enjoy all this. But on the other side of all this the food is good and the drinks where nice albeit abit pricy.

Food was nice and staff friendly. Parking seems a bit limited. Baby changing is in the disabled toilet on a changing mat in the floor.

Friendly staff but the bathroom is outdated the radiator is held together with black tape and the shower is missing half the temperature handle. The hair dryer doesn't work and the key card stopped working. The room is neat clean.

The food was very good and the service was friendly and welcoming. Staff were helpful and patient. It was quiet but the restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere; there was also a good choice of menu items.

Friendly and courteous staff and a very pleasant stay. The food was superb never tasted better anywhere. We've stopped in many hotels over the years but if you like your food cooked to perfection then you must pay a visit. Congratulations to the Chef. Would have given a 5 star rating but the room we stopped in was a little cramped. A minor issues.

Although rural the quiet location is ideal between Banbury and Bicester. The rooms exceeded what I was expecting. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only let down was the breakfast.

Excellent hotel. We stayed over the bank holiday. Lovely room, lovely food and all the staff were friendly. The hotel is conveniently situated for numerous attractions and towns.

Lovely place to stay helpful friendly staff, nice clean rooms. Could not fault the food all very good. Only thing I would have liked a mirror near to a plug socket making it easier to do my hair.

Always great food. The hotel is always clean tidy and comfortable and the staff are lovely and very welcoming.

Nicer than average pub hotel with a nice big dining room for breakfast and well maintained rooms. I'd stay there again.
