Ruth and Rob really go the extra mile to make you welcome. Yummy breakfast, beautiful pool, cinema room and use of the bar. All in all we had a great time and can't wait to return.

We spent yesterday at Dunmow Guest House, it was absolutely amazing.
When we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by Ruth and Robert. Ruth straight away offered us a welcome drink which we enjoyed on their roof terrace overlooking their beautiful garden.
We had a swim in their super indoor swimming pool. We had the pool to ourselves which was fantastic.
Had we been staying longer we might have been able to spend some time in their in house cinema but we shall have that to look forward to next time we visit.
The room was lovely and included all the little things to make your stay very luxurious, around the room, in the shower and the treats we found in our fridge, chocolates, kit kat, bottled water and cans of cola.
It was just a luxurious home from home.
The next morning we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast very professionally cooked by Ruth. A good choice of continental breakfast followed by a varied choice of hot breakfast.
Thank you Ruth and Robert for a lovely stay at your beautiful home, we shall be returning again very soon.

What an amazing experience this guest house is outstanding in every way really don’t want to leave. Ruth and Roy make you so so welcome. The rooms amazing and fridge full of goodies but what is so wonderful is the swimming pool and cinema room. Breakfast the best I have ever tasted. You must book a truly 5 star experience in every way xx.

Wow what an amazing place, Robert & Ruth really couldn't do enough for us, they were the perfect hosts. The facilities are amazing and spotlessly clean. The room is very spacious, with a fridge and lovely added extras of cool water & chocolate on arrival. The bed was so comfortable too. Breakfast was lovely, especially Ruths omelettes. I would definitely recommend a minimum 2 night stay to make the most of the beautiful swimming pool, air conditioned bar and cinema. My wife and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary here and trully had a lovely relaxing anniversary. Thank you so much for making us feel part of your home and a lovely 2 days. We will definitely be back. Sarah & Michelle.

A lovely relaxed comfortable stay. Nothing to much trouble & breakfast was fab. All the extra touches are thoughtful and the beds are so comfortable that you don’t want to get up! The cinema room is brilliant and a nice dip in the pool was great. Lovely bar area and even had a game of darts!
Would definitely recommend & stay again.

This guest house is home from home with the luxury of a pool and cinema room. It is a 10 minute walk to town that has an array of restaurants and public houses. The icing on the cake is Robert and Ruth who run this beautiful guest house 2 nicer people would be hard to find.

A great place to stay. The owners are brilliant and go out the way to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is also lovely. Thank you and will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Dunmow Guest House for my birthday (and a much needed night away from our kids! ) Ruth and Rob were impeccable hosts, and we’ve already decided this is going to be our new regular hotel haunt. From the private cinema, to the stunning pool and delicious breakfast, I literally can’t fault this amazing place. Would thoroughly recommend, and we will 100% be back!

This place is perfection! Ruth and Robert are wonderful hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Our room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean with thoughtful extras like chocolates, fresh milk and bottled water/diet Coke in the mini fridge. The house is beautiful, the pool is great, the cinema with the added extra of free popcorn was fun and breakfast was delicious. You cannot go wrong if you choose to stay here and we will definitely be back :-)

I cannot explain how fantastic our stay was.
Robert and Ruth were like old friends and the house is amazing. Immaculate is the only word that comes close.
Nothing at all was too much trouble and myself and my wife were treated fantastically.
A well needed weekend away could not of gone any better.
We felt the stress flow away almost immediately upon arrival but with the help of the pool and the outstanding cinema room we were both refreshed and recharged.
Add to that the great breakfast and hosting and it’s a no brainier. We will be back very soon and recommend it to anyone.

This is a beautiful house and absolutely everything you could want is provided. Nothing is too much trouble for Rob and Ruth and breakfast was fantastic. I have already booked a return visit. Don't forget your swimmers for a dip in the pool!

Lovely stay. We were there 1 night and the hosts were wonderfully accomodating. Lovely house and neighbourhood. Decent Indian restaurant across the road also.

Amazing Bed & Breakfast, who would have thought it… an indoor pool and a surround sound cinema! Great hearty breakfast and wonderful hosts, perfect for a break in this area.

The best B&B we have ever been to for a long time, would recommend this to everyone and very reasonable.

Not only was I able to visit Great Dunmow where I spent some of my teenage years, and attend a beautiful wedding in Great Easton we had the pleasure of making new friends Ruth and Robbie who own and run this amazing Guest House in Dunmow, we call it the Guest House that keeps giving. It all starts with a warm and friendly welcome we had a beautiful room with everything a woman could need! Nothing more that you could ask for comfy bed amazing breakfast and a pool and cinema so that you can hide away from the busy world and lose yourself in tranquility. They are both the most perfect hosts and if and when we are able to return to the U. K. From Melbourne Australia we will put this guest house top of our list as a place we must return too.

Professional, friendly host. Absolutely lovely place to stay would recommend it to anyone who's staying in the area what a gem of a find. We'd definitely be visiting again.

Just stayed here with my Fiance and it really was perfect. The location is perfect, the guesthouse is inviting, spotlessly clean and very plush. After swimming in the private pool, having breakfast in bed and watching a film in the private cinema, I will be back. Couldn't ask for more and Ruth and her husband are very inviting, you will not be disappointed.
