Nice traditional village pub. Sunday dinner was very nice. Simple good quality ingredients well cooked and portions are very generous.
Would certainly visit again and recommend it.

Went for dinner last night to celebrate a housemates birthday. Lovely atmosphere, covid secure done well, well kept ale and great service!
We booked in advance and mentioned that I’m vegan, the staff and chef were so accommodating and created a hot meze plate for me (which as well as being humongous) was delicious. We will definitely return post lockdown!

Any of the Roast, 3 of us had a different one, and all of them were lovely. One of us had the Fish off the special board and that too was lovely friendly and helpful staff, great value.

Nice pleasant atmosphere, went there fir my sons Birthday. But sadly the only day they don't sell steak is Sunday, otherwise we would have ordered 4 steaks, choice was roast, as specials were mainly based around fish, the roast was massive n lovely but nice to have a nicely cooked steak instead when you go out.

Great food and always a warm welcome. I recommend highly.

Great food-generous portions, great atmosphere, love location, very popular but our table was a little cramped for the size plates of food and side orders! But would def return!

Not the greatest and nothing out of the ordinary. They do have a good quiz night on Wednesday.

Went for Sunday lunch with family but apparently children aren’t welcome! No high chairs at all!
He had to sit on my lap the entire time meaning he couldn’t eat properly neither could I.
However a dog was aloud in!
Will never return!

Traditional country pub with decent home-cooked food — the lunchtime lasagne is very nice. Very welcoming people. Pub has a couple of well kept, standard ales: Sharp's Doombar and Greene King IPA. As we drove to attend a wedding in the nearby (3 miles) Reid Rooms, we stayed overnight. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable, with a decent rate. We'd definitely stay again.

Went here today Sunday 2/3 with my family including 2 grandkids, food was amazing and plentiful, plenty of meat on the plate, Was asked if we would like more veggies and potatoes but we kindly declined as we had loads to go round, we also took the leftovers home, they also do takeout which we ordered for one of our guests parents. We all had dessert which were also very tasty… you certainly won’t leave here hungry. The staff were very helpful and friendly, only 1 criticism is that they could of had someone helping the lovely lady behind the bar, but aside from that will definitely return and would highly recommend if your looking for fantastic homemade food. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
