We have been coming here for years. The food is amazing. The staff are extremely attentive to your needs and nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic experience for our fist visit to this wonderful hotel. We were so impressed the hotel staff picked out it was our wedding anniversary and placed a happy Anniversary card in our room and at dinner presented us with a plate decorated in chocolate writing wishing us happy anniversary. The staff are amazing, friendly, polite and engaging which made our visit so memorable We are already planning our next visit.

I was gifted a Spa Treatment & Lunch for my 70th birthday at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel & Spa. All the hotel staff we encountered were very polite, cheerful and helpful. The Spa staff couldn’t do enough to make our trip a special experience. The facilities in the Spa were clean, and decor with its soft lighting offered a relaxing ambiance. My masseuse was a very pleasant young lady, and I enjoyed my back and head massage very much. I liked the quiet room where you could relax, and enjoy the view over the bay whilst enjoying a cup of tea, coffee or iced water. There was a bowl of fruit available too, which was a surprise but sadly the bananas were very under ripe. We had a 3 course lunch, and was beautifully cooked / presented. All the restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. To sum up I would rate the experience 4.9 out of 5 and I would definitely go there again. Sadly it wasn’t 5 out of 5 because I really didn’t like the overwhelming smell of chlorine around the pool area, It was so strong it made our eyes sting. Also the Ladies changing / shower area is far to small.

This place is a hidden gem! Beautifully set on the harbour, with the most spectacular views. Rooms are to a very high standard and the food is unreal. Staff are very attentive, polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

I came to the Har Spa with my mum for my birthday. I'm pleased to say it was well worth the money. Beautiful spa facilities and treatments and the staff are friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea was also delicious and you definitely wont leave hungry!

Just returned from a two nights stay at Harbour Hotel and it was incredible. The staff were helpful, with the right balance of friendly and professional. The food is of high quality and service is excellent. Stayed at room 206 and it got too warm at some point but fan are provided and you can also open the window for some fresh air. Couldn’t wait to return and explore the other hotels from the Harbour hotel flagship.

Had a lovely night at Harbour Hotel & Spa, room was soo good loved it and spent a couple of hours in the spa and swimming, had a meal there as well and that was Excellent, highly recommend it …

From the moment we walked in the service and welcome was one of the best we’ve had. We had a lovely stay here. The food was absolutely excellent particularly the pork done 3 ways. I will not forget that meal, ever. All the staff were so attentive and were excellent in their job, in particular the Portuguese cocktail gentleman, he really knows his stuff. Will definitely visit again very soon as we really enjoyed our stay, everything well cleaned and felt very safe, thank you to everyone for making my birthday stay a really good one even in the height of winter!

Went for 24 hour visit with friends (our first time there). Staff were lovely friendly & helpful, though check in was a bit of a muddle as they’d put both rooms under one name & couldn’t locate ours, & we booked it! But sorted eventually. Fantastic location. Room not enormous, bed was so that was fine you only sleep in there, & it was very comfy. Had all that you needed & more. Yesterday had drinks & a light bite in bar, service was friendly & quick. Then we ate last night in the Jetty restaurant, superb one of the best meals I have ever had, and again service friendly & fast, but not rushed, big difference. Breakfast this morning delicious & lots to choose from, again staff very pleasant. Then we had afternoon tea this afternoon. Was served out on the terrace & fabulous, plentiful, in fact needed doggy bag.
Only criticism is could have done with a jug of hot water served with tea, sure if we’d have asked they’d have brought one! Will definitely be going back, soon!

We had a fantastic time on Friday, and the hotel team were very attentive and looked after us well. The food was above our expectations for a service event with 60 plus covers an we only had excellent comments about the quality of the food and customer service. The facilities were of a very high standard and the atmosphere was excellent. Please pass on our comments to all concerned and thank you again for all your help in making our Lodge Ladies Night celebration so successful and enjoyable.

Regretted choosing this hotel as the ‘discounted’ room at £150 had a view of the car park, we literally had a car backed onto the window. I asked about a better view and was told it was an eye watering £430?!? Very unpleasant in the morning with fumes and noise (window had to be kept open due to issue below). What we found bizarre is there was no fan or AC in the room even though clearly a lot of money spent on furnishings?! So we didn’t sleep well given the heat. The breakfast was of a decent quality, staff were pleasant and restaurant food was good. Even though the restaurant view was great the room was a massive let down, will stay in premier inn next time we’re in town.

Parking on site, reception was very efficient and polite, explained everything and showed us all the spa rooms. Treatments fantastic, indoor pool great relaxation areas, indoor and outdoor were clean and comfortable loungers, fruit teas, iced water and fresh fruit were there to help yourself. Afternoon tea was moorish and our seating with a view over Quay fantastic. Will return, no hesitation.

I love this place. The spa is amazing, and the Jetty (restaurant) is simply outstanding. Beautiful views out over mudeford bay make this a very special place to visit. 4 stars because of an issue I had when I stayed in the hotel, however the manager dealt with it personally, giving me a reduction in my room cost. Better if it hadn't happened, but impressed with how it was dealt with, with no quibbling. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful and amazing venue, my sons friend was married there and it was the most wonderful experience to be a part of their special day. The staff were truly helpful and friendly and thank you to all who helped make Dan and Sherries day a magical one.

Absolutely lovely hotel, the spa was great, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast was good We had a small room but it had everything we needed and a super comfy bed The Nespresso machine was a bonus!

The staff were very nice however the hotel is not as plush as it first seems. Our room faced the carpark and the window do not stop any noise so it sounded as if it was open and cars doors slapped late into the night. When we closed the window the room became very damp with windows steaming up even though we did not use shower. Spa looks very nice however on close inspection it has tiles missing no lights in Jacuzzi so you can not see the steps (dangerous) the grate in the salt room is just sat on drain and it slipped off when I stood on it hurting my foot. Tiles in steam room are missing and edges are extremely sharp only 2 changing rooms in ladies side and very little space elsewhere to get changed. Showers in changing room were not very clean either. Food was good but the hair in my cooked breakfast was not a good sign. On the whole I would not recommend it or use it again. Very disappointed as price was £225 for double room and breakfast not worth the money.

Attended a meal here which was in a private room. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Car parking limited but we managed to get the last free space in the car park.

Don't get me wrong the facilities are good, but when we first arrived the jacuzzi was out of order and in the salt steam room there was open pipe work fizzing out the salt water which did not make it relaxing in the slightest. And in my opinion there was too many people using these facilities all at the same time, as it is quite a s…mall spa area. They also pride themselves on providing you with a selection of teas and fruit throughout your day, in which the fruit bowl was empty all afternoon. Once back in the changing rooms there was no shampoo or conditioner in the showers, and the complimentary body lotion bottle was empty, so I left the spa stinking of chlorine and having dry skin. It's the attention to details that matter and on this occasion the spa was lacking this massively. Very disappointed, was not £180 well spent.

Brought my mum on a spa day here yesterday and expected a lot more. Firstly let me say the massage was fantastic and the best part of my day and the facilities are nice and clean. However the lack of beds around the pool and the fact towels are left strewn across them so people cannot sit together made it hard to find somewhere to settle around the pool. Children in the swimming pool was also something never mentioned to us — I respect it is a hotel but please let guests booked in for a spa experience be aware of this — I probably wouldn’t of booked if I knew. Also when asking at reception if we could get food I was simply told ‘no we don’t do that here’.
A lot of friends of mine have booked into the restaurant spontaneously on their spa day and had fantastic experiences but there were no such offers to do so even if it were to advise me the restaurant was full that would of been better than the response I received.
Overall nit picky issues here but will probably save my money and go to a spa elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel facing Christchurch quay. Fantastic spa facilities and treatment options at a reasonable price. Spaceous rooms with excellent sea views. Fantastic in-house restaurant serving a varied menu. Friendly staff, on site parking and easy access by car to coastline.

Had a lovely 5* meal on new years day at the Jetty. We were a party of six and had the best time possible. Staff were great but it was the food that stole the show! Absolutely fantastic and exceptional quality. Will definitely eat here again!

Nice ambience, nice location. Limited parking (hence the loss of one star). Cannot comment on food, accommodation etc — as I was there for a wedding reception, and the food/ drink was not the usual run-of-the-mill.

First time guest at the hotel and have to say it is a really lovely modern hotel with a nautical theme through main public areas. Superb restaurant and bar overlooking the bay. In summer the outdoor terrace will be superb to enjoy drinks or meals. The spa is good with a small but well equipped gym. Don't expect to lounge around the pool as there is not much space but there is the grest hide away which has chairs and loungers. Rooms clean and well appointed.

Very nice atmosphere. The place is very clean and looks really fancy. I didn't stay so I cant speak of the rooms, only the event facilities. The staff was good even so undergoing so obvious traning.

Went for a wedding, beautiful rooms and set up. Friendly and helpful staff. Only issue is somewhat limited parking, but was able to find space on the road.

The hotel is beautiful as a whole. Perfect for weddings and events. Food is of a good standard. The rooms are good — the beds are quite high above the ground though. Drinks are on the pricier side £££.

Great location, lovely hotel, OK staff but man it's expensive. There really is nothing to complain about with the location of this hotel, on the harbour with it's own slip and kayaks and paddleboards to borrow. The hotel itself is lovely with a classic nautical theme. Bedrooms was clean a tidy with a great bed. The reception and spa staff were friendly and super helpful, however the restaurant staff were more than a little snooty, we were blanked at the bar for at least 10 minutes, it wasn't that busy. £80+ for a prawn and crab sandwich, two burgers and a salad from the bar menu. The sandwich didn't come with any sauce, one of the burgers was a little dry and the other was dripping.

This hotel was booked as one of our final stops on our 2 week trip. We were happy to book it after seeing gorgeous photos online and reading spa reviews. The room was a huge disappointment. Although it was spacious, it was not the luxurious room as seen in the photos. Our TV was smaller than most laptop screens, it was very noisy and hot and the lights that illuminate the hotel sign also illuminated our room. The one saving factor was dinner at the restaurant. The staff there was very receptive and the food was delicious. My recommendation is to find another hotel in the area and book a dinner here. We were very dissatisfied and feel the price far exceeded the quality.

The hotel and Spa are nicely laid out as you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The Jetty restaurant is great, with plenty of dishes and locally and seasonally sourced food for you to enjoy. The let down is the treatment of their staff. Having witnessed many times the managers absolutely deriding their staff and belittling them made for a somewhat uncomfortable experience. If you don't value your staff, how are your customers meant to feel valued. Otherwise a nice hotel.

One of my favourite places in the world. We got married here and it was the perfect day. Would definitely recommend for a wedding, stunning scenery, fantastic food and staff. We have been here many times, have stayed here, eaten in the restaurant and visited the spa. Yesterday we took our children and had afternoon tea here and again had a wonderful time. The staff are wonderful and so friendly and we're fantastic with our children. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Incredibly overpriced for everything! Room was very small, bed was very small, TV was even smaller would have needed a magnifying glass if we wanted to watch it. Small tricky space to get in and out of shower. There were dirty breakfast trays in the corridors on our arrival at 3pm and still there when we went for breakfast the next day! Food lovely but they add on VAT on top of the menu price plus a discretion fee, a total of £25 extra on our already overpriced bill! Drinks very expensive indeed, breakfast was average. I wouldn't go back!

First of all lets get what they do right out of the way. • The hotel is in a good location • The physical building is nice. • The front deck clerks are nice • There is nothing bad to say about the rooms • They are small and clean but so are many in this area. • The gym and spa areas are also very nice. So there are three scenarios which make you love this place: 1. You already know your way around this hotel 2. You are the kind of person that likes to figure everything out without needed any help or service. 3. You are one of the 3 weddings doing on almost all the time in which case your stay here will be very brief If however you would like true service and are not part of a wedding — well you are on your own … Lets start with Parking: Right away when you pull up to the front door the bellman is confused as to what to do with you. There is almost 2 times more cars that spaces and always at least 1-2 weddings going on so parking is close to impossible. This results in people parked anywhere blocking everyone in making it impossible to get in and out. You are told to drive around and look for spaces yourself. Remember this feeling because you’ll see it again very soon. Checking into your room works and the location of facilities: You get a key and a voucher for charges. No one explains to you needed to put the key in the wall for all the lights to work or where anything in the hotel is.

We had the most wonderful stay, the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly or accomadating. The room was divine… the whole atmosphere perfect. I was particularly impressed by how well they catered for coeliacs… the food was excellent and I was really surprised that they had gluten free bread. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Just checked in for our 8th time (having also got married here in 2015) and love having our favourite harbour view room. The hotel staff are always welcoming and helpful and the facilities are perfect for a long weekend. Our favourite hotel on the south coast.

At £165 per night, our room (number 407) was disappointing: it's very small, and it's only window (which admittedly has a side view on the sea of you lean out) directly overlooks a wall. Still, the staff was attentive to our requests, the hotel (which is somewhat disappointing architecturally, a concrete block overlooking the Harbour) is in a good place overlooking the water, the SPA (while not unforgettable) is pleasant, the front garden and restaurant terrace are both nice spaces.

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly, than to say it was one of the best weekends of my life. My daughter held her wedding reception there and from the moment she and her husband arrived they were treated as if they had been royalty. So were all the other guests from the wedding party, to other guests at the hotel from what I could see and hear. The place was spotless, very warm and welcoming. The ambience from the reception area to the lounge, to the bars, both by the quality of the furnishings and decor was of the highest standard. All this would have counted for nothing without the staff, who were polite, civil and attentive at all times throughout my two night stay. To Chris (who had direct control of proceedings for the wedding breakfast) and all of his staff I cannot thank you enough, for making my daughters and my new son-in-laws dreams, of a reception to remember forever, come true. The food throughout my stay was excellent. The room we was staying in overlooked the bay was light and spacious and had everything one would expect for an hotel of this standard. It was delightful. We would have loved to have sat outside on the patio, on a sunny day and sipped a G and T and a V and C together and watch the world go by, but thats for another day. We, ll be back — that is a promise This Hotel is a hidden Gem, but probably not for long.

Excellent spa facilities and a fantastic massage by Georgia. Kate on the spa reception was also extremely professional and helped make my visit a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Great customer service, lovely food, comfortable rooms and good spa facilities.

We seem to be in the minority as we were rather dissatisfied with this hotel. On arrival we were shown room 409 which for a double room in a hotel of this calibre is quite simply a disgrace, being 2ft larger than the double bed it contained. Upon complaining we were given room 524 which was slightly better, but was badly designed, one complaint being that one bedside cabinet was too near the wardrobe to allow it to open properly. The hotel has surprisingly no air conditioning, making all the nights very uncomfortable, the bathroom was an accident waiting to happen, with both slippery shower base, slippery floor and no support handles. My husband was grossly overcharged for his whisky (by 100%). It is incorrect to say the refurbishment is completed as there is extensive building being undertaken both in the hotel and next door. In fact, upon booking I queried if the construction taking place next door would affect us and was told no, when in fact the sound of reversing lorries went on every 2-3 minutes for about 8 hours, making a rest in the afternoon difficult after a long walk in the morning. However, the room was very clean and the staff are extremely courteous. We did not think the decor in the rooms was particularly tasteful, in fact quite the opposite, but the bed was very comfortable and the view across the harbour was beautiful. All in all however I would not recommend the hotel and feel it is not value for money.
