Chris and sue couldn’t of made us more welcome, room was comfortable and full breakfast was to die for, thank you Chris and sue.

Nice enough. Room is basic. 4 poster bed looks lovely when you first walk in but is squeaky as hell. Shower is so loud you need earplugs when its on. Furniture dated. Old conservatory sofa which was strange. Best bit was a nice breakfast and friendly owner. Needs a revamp.

Very welcoming and accommodating when we were arriving late slept good not a lot of room bed was to close to wall had to go round bed sidewards not that keen to be honest with you on the breakfast but all in all it would get you out of trouble ideal stop gap.

Great place, lovely people, tasty food. What more do you need.

We have stayed here before a couple of years ago. Very friendly place. We were welcomed at the door and shown to our room. Lovely large clean room with a very comfortable four poster bed. Everything we could need television DVD player hairdryer. Tea and coffee facilities including biscuits.
The only down side was lack of channels on to, but we were so tired after busy days that did not matter too much. Breakfast was perfect. Would love to know how the poached eggs were done.
Well done for winning four in a bed we can see why.

I was impressed from the offset when we had to ring to say we would be late in arriving. Nothing was too much trouble. Same when we did eventually arrive.
Room was impressive as was the bed itself and the breakfast was freshly made and tasty.
While we were there the owner even offered to lend his tools to a guest to save them buying them.
Would highly recommend!

We spent one night at the Angel whilst visiting old friend s in the area. We found the owner's welcoming. The room clean and spacious. The car parking was a bonus. Shame we couldn't have stayed longer. Would definitely use again.

Stayed here while working for a client in the area, very friendly place with nice large rooms. Very clean and the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is also to die for! Would recommend if you are in the area.
