Lovely clean modern room, lovely food for evening meal in restaurant and great breakfast, very friendly staff — stayed as was picking son up from Exeter Uni so was perfect location, booked in Jan when we take him back and will be booking every time we take him etc over next 3 years as great price! Loved our stay thank you.

Small but clean room, has everything you need and at a great price. Breakfast has a good enough choice. Paid alot more in some places and been very disappointed. For me cleanliness is important especially at present times and can't fault the court for that. Booking again for 1 night in January when our son returns to Uni.

We have just had our wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! Ashton was amazing through the whole planning process and it all came together beautifully! all the receptionist were so helpful and lovely nothing was ever too much trouble, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend x.

Excellent customer service and the beds are very comfortable the rooms have walk in shower. The food was delicious and excellent The rooms are all on one level and well equipped.

Staying here currently and for the price not great value. Positives — The service in the restaurant and the quality of the meals. Also the Covid precautions are excellent Negatives — The rooms are tired. In my room their are light bulbs not working and a tear in duvet cover. All in a a functional place for one night, but poor room maintenance.

Stayed here for a night got to say the food was one of the best I ever had the mixed grill.
The room was nice and tidy and the recipient last was really hopeful.
And the car park was large and free can’t really fault the hotel.

Lovely meal food cooked to a high standard look forward to trying the roast next time!

This hotel is a real gem the venue is great really accessible and when we have had meetings here the food has been great. We are now planning our wedding here the Devon suite looks just perfect and Ashton the wedding planner is a real asset to the team always professional and so helpful. I just can't wait xx.

Having stayed here from the neat gardens to ample parking. Friendly welcome the room is spotless, has everything you need for a quiet stay, we also get a breakfast, very good value. The evening meal also on hand should you want one. We shall come for a longer stay next time.

Everything on our stay was perfect from the first smile at reception onwards food was lovely staff brilliant and beds comfortable and rooms clean and quiet couldn’t ask for more will defo be back.

Good food and plenty of space just to sit and have a drink at the bar. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms.

Great place to stay, food cooked by a chef and not heat and serve like other places.
Chef cooked chicken curry for my husband, as lamb on menu and doesn’t like.

They only give 2 beds when 3 adults in a room. They call the room Tripple Room but this means you shate a bed. Night Manager not very helpful and not taking any ownership.

We came yesterday for my Best Friends wedding.
What can I say. She bought me here in September last year and I loved the hotel, and it lived up to the expectation and some!
The food was outstanding, drinks and rooms were excellent value for money.
And Becky the wedding coordinator was fantastic. The whole day went so smoothly and everything was slightly ahead of planned time.
Would highly recommend to everyone!

Best thing about this hotel is Becky on reception. Very pleasant and helpful. Also house keeping Especially Joe &Maria. Waitressess need a customer care course. Anything but polite or pleasant. Breakfast very poor quality and tasteless. Would not recommend this hotel at all! Stay clear!

We had a lovely stay here, clean, functional rooms, quiet considering the location. Staff couldn't do enough and the food was exceptional. Will recommend and also be booking to stay again.

It was a wonderful venue for a party. Rooms clean and bed very comfortable. Great party food, great staff and an amazing breakfast. I will come back again. Thank you for making my sisters birthday an evening to remember.

Nice venue (Google maps suggests just under 2 hours on a bus into Exeter. That service was confirmed as ‘hit and miss’ when I rang for advice on travel links) Probably a good venue for the airport. It’s very much on a par with travelodge but, you get what you pay for. Receptionist was very good, clearly there are ‘issues’ amongst the bar staff tonight. Nice place to stay with your car in the impressive car park but, can’t help the location if you want travel links to the city.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Although mattress was exceptionally hard and could feel every spring.
Dining room beautifully laid out for breakfast but it wasn't the best full English although dining room staff were lovely.

Exeter Court Hotel far exceeded my expectations on location and service. Located within the heart of Kennford, surrounded by countryside cliffs and country roads of Exeter and within a stone's throw from a conveniently placed Shell Petrol Station, you cannot go wrong. The rooms are reasonably priced and more than satisfyingly clean. The facilities contained within the room are more than what you could need for a short stay and the beds are extremely comfortable. I slept like a newborn baby on both nights I stayed there. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable, smiling from ear-to-ear. Breakfast options are rather limited for someone who eats meat but not pork. I understand that Exeter Court Hotel are catering to those who love a traditional English Breakfast, which typically contains pork, but I would have loved to have seen alternatives to pork such as Chicken or Beef sausages. Other than that, breakfast is served to you as though you are a customer in a restaurant, with your orders written down on a notepad before being served to you professionally by polite and professional staff. It isn't buffet-style like previous hotels I have stayed in that include breakfast — it is served to you professionally. Exeter Court Hotel made my Exeter experience in the 2 days that I visited. It was the perfect hotel to stay in during my time in Exeter and I cannot find a single fault with the rooms, the facilities, the staff or hotel itself.

Great centrally located budget type hotel. Very close to the main dual carriageway but you can't hear this from the bedrooms. The bar and reception staff could of been a little more friendly, although the breakfast staff were lovely. Talking of breakfast, this was very nice and quick to be brought out. Lovely pub called seven stars in kennford, great food and atmosphere, live bands too.

I stayed here with family for a weekend break. Check in was quick an efforless staff were friendly and welcoming The location isn't the best as hotel is very close to a main road and a petrol station so a bit noisy depending on which room you book but easily accessible. Something about the place felt like it was converted from retirement homes. The staff were friendly and welcoming the food was good and breakfast came with booking but we upgraded as you only get 1 of each item. The bar is good it has a decent selection of drinks and a large television. There are function rooms available if planning a get together. The rooms are a bit small but the bathroom was bigger than some 4 stars I've stayed at and well fitted. The vent on the bathroom door was unusual as slats are not adjustable and at a bad angle allowing people to see in. The bed was very rigid and I couldn't get a comfortable night's sleep. It was cheap enough to make up for its setbacks though.

The hotel is styled around a court yard with interconnecting single storey blocks. It's quite near the expressway but the double glazing is really thick so there are no noise issues. I got back fairly late so can't comment on how thin, or not, the walls were bit I had no neighbour disturbance. The hotel is scrupulously clean. I was in a single room, in fact a twin, there were nice coffee making facilities (with good biscuits) also there was an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe which was a nice touch! All in all a good night in a nice convenient hotel for Exminster!

We got married here on 31st July 2010 and had the most amazing wedding ever. Claire was amazing and looked after us so well.

The hotel is located away from the city not far from the busy A38. The rooms are a little dated and all rooms are in ground floor blocks situated around the car park. This means if its raining you'll get wet taking your bags to your room or walking to/from reception or the bar/dining area. There is no AC in the rooms although a desk fan was provided. However the rooms are clean and the bathrooms are nicely refurbished. The room came with breakfast (full English) and the price was less than £80 which was way cheaper than the nearest Premier Inn the night we stayed. All in all perfectly fine for a simple nights sleep but certainly nothing to get excited about.

Very clean warm welcoming place. Toilet very clean. Had steak and onion bagette for lunch which was cold, steak was very tender though, On menu said with chips but they were crisps. Crisps are crisps and chips are chips and should be hot.

Amazing staff, very helpful. The bedrooms looked great, clean, and the beds were comfy.

I stay in hotels about 4 nights a week so get to see all kinds of places. For: — Clean and cosy, just like home! — Great smells as soon as you walk into your room, an air of a good quality hotel accompanied by wonderful shower and bathing products — Reasonable pricing, ample parking, easy to find, a friendly and polite welcome — Would definitely recommend Could improve: — Have spotted a bit of dust here and there and a bit of a rushed job with some of the cleaning in the bathroom — road is quite noticeable but by no means off-putting — new coffee making facilities like Nespresso machines for the room would be excellent — Walls/ guests in the rooms next door are slightly noticeable but again not off-putting :-)

We had a vegan in our party. We informed the hotel a couple of days in advance and the chef came up trumps with a really good choice of vegan food (which was also enjoyed by several non-vegans). We really appreciated this and were able to eat all our meals in the hotel for a five day visit with lots of variety.

I went here for a conference. I pre ordered a vegan meal and was amazed when they brought me out a delicious butternut squash stew.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for an event my wife attended. Fantastic rooms and fantastic service.

Bar staff need retraining, absolutely useless. Took forever to get served and then after 15 mins managed to order lunch, 25 mins later still nothing turned up and they’d inadvertently cancelled the food order!

I travel a lot with my job and spend a lot of time in Hotels.
I often stay here for 4-5 nights when I am in South Devon. It is situated next to the A38 and is very easy and quick to travel to Exeter. The rooms are always clean and the showers are brilliant. Even though It is next to a Dual Carriageway off or surprisingly quiet.
The food here is of good standard. The Ley Arms 1/2 A mile from the hotel in Kenn has a good menu.
The staff are friendly. And there is plenty of free parking.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great value. Very easy access off dual carriageway.

Normally no problem but last night 2.30am one of the wedding party swearing in the carpark, then 4.45am someone set the fire alarm off. Not happy when we have a 4 hour journey.

The hotel was very clean. All staff were very polite and helpful. Prices for accommodation and food very reasonable. I really liked the fact that it's all on one level, so no one moving around above us. Sat Nat was spot on with location. Some noise from the main road but we weren't affected as not directly backed on to it.

Room was extremely comfortable and clean. Towels changed every day. Staff extremely friendly. Definitely recommend the hotel.

Stayed her Friday night. What a fabulous hotel with an American bungalow style layout. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spotless with a lovely bath with ample hot water. Food was lovely with a good choice of evening meals and the breakfast was also good. It was very busy as they had a wedding the following day but this did not cause any issues with the service provided to non wedding guests. Highly recommended and will be staying here again. Extremely good value hotel with a family feel.

Hotel is nice breakfast is a bit hit and miss depending on what chef us on. Our room was full of flys we counted 35 on the Tuesday night. Told front desk in the morning. Told someone would sort it. When we got in on the Wednesday still had the glue. One or two you can handle 30+ is a bit of a problem. Only in our room the other guest with us didn't have any in there room. Hotel us next to the motorway but you can't here it.

Very clean, nice bar area, good reception. Comfy bed clean towels. Tea and coffee kettle. Ironing board and iron in the wardrobe plenty of sockets best hotel we've been in lately.

Very poor. We went for a Sunday roast but the food was awful. I had the roast beef and my husband and friend had the roast loin of pork. The beef was too tough to swallow — it had to go into a napkin, the broccoli and cauliflower although freshly prepared, had been kept in a hot, dry environment (probably a warming tray) so the texture was awful. The potatoes were more like baked (without skins) than roasted and had an unpleasant sweetness to them. The Yorkshire pudding was textured like a sea sponge and just as dried out and the gravy tasted like the cheapest, nastiest instant gravy. On the plus side, the French beans and carrots were nice. I have my beef to my husband — who can eat most things, but even he couldn't swallow that beef. Their pork loin was very wet and soggy, more like it had been boiled than roasted, but their crackling was okay. There were no waiting staff about and when the food was brought to the table no condiments were offered, when we did manage to find someone to request condiments from I mentioned the lack of waiting staff and the man's response was "they're serving at the bar"… which is in an adjoining room! By the time pour surely waiter brought the condiments the food was already cold. No way we are ever going there again!

Well situated only 1 min off m5 for easy travel. Zero noise from motorway. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food in bar/restaurant is excellent. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night and couldn't fault it, The room was clean and tidy, The only issue we had was with the people next to us, The lovely lady on the reception desk moved us to another room without any extra charge, She was lovely about it, The breakfast was lovely and the staff, Would definately return and will recommend to all my friends, Thankyou for a lovely stay,

Only visited the reception as it was hosting a motorsport event but it looked very clean and tidy.

We stayed at Exeter Court Hotel while completing a driving tour of SW England. We had a friendly welcome and staff were very helpful. A comfortable bed in a modern room that was clean and more than adequate for our needs. We ate at the restaurant for Dinner and Breakfast — cannot fault the quality of the food or service. Would happily recommend this Hotel to other travelers. Excellent parking near our room.

The Food was good! Everything else was appalling… More Motel than Hotel, close to Motorway. Decor is very tired which surprised me as other reviews suggested it had been upgraded! Noticed an odd smell when I first got into my room — sort off food + chemical toilet. Assumed it was due to room cleaning so opened window. HOWEVER, when I put my head on pillow, smell was overwhelming. Pulling back the covers, it was clear that a previous bed occupant had been very ill. The bed had been made and some attempt to cover the smell applied. But sleeping on someone else's puke was a new experience for me. Won't be going back…

Nice quiet hotel, located in an easy to explore south Devon. Nice and clean (room 25), family room. Reasonable price too. Would use again if visiting Devon.

Friendly staff, not too noisy given it's quite close to the road and the bath in the bridal suite is amazing! Great value for money.

Room was clean but they were understaffed and breakfast was chaos, they also did not provide evening meals as described in the menu, a very important issue if you are allergic or intolerant to certain foods, also undercooked burger finished it off for me.

Absolutely brilliant food and service. Everywhere clean and tidy enjoyed our stay very much. Definately would recommend and will stay there again.

Basic room supposed to be a superior the bathroom was dated even down to a cheap toilet seat and because all the doors have strong self closers there was banging all the time. Maybe I had an unlucky room but probably wouldn't bother again.

Had friends come down for a funeral. Booking with Exeter Court Hotel was easy over the phone. Will use them again.
