Stayed in the Acorn between 6-10 May 2024.|We absolutely loved the quiet & peaceful setting, the relaxing hot tub and the beautiful Forrest walks. |Drove around 30min each day and did some stunning coastal walks. |Maybe some furniture could do with an update but we wasn’t bothered, we have already booked again for the sycamore lodge next May.|Thanks Liz and your team.
We stayed in Acorn lodge as a couple with dogs, it’s a beautiful place with lovely walks.|The lodge it self was clean, well equipped and the hot tub was lovely. The views are stunning around the woods. This is the perfect place for some R&R. | The beach along westward ho is great and well worth a visit! Thank you we will be back!

This is my 3rd visit to the site and will be back in the future. Fresh air and peaceful surroundings. Such a relaxing place to stay. Sit back and the wildlife comes to you. There is a selection of walks through the forest however the trails are quite steep in places.
The accommodation is clean and well equipped.
There are plenty of lakes to fish. The main lake has some good carp if you can find them. This lake also has some really large roach and bream. The bottom lake has seen perch to over 4lb.
To sum up, if your after somewhere quiet and relaxing, to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you and your family.
