Myself and my partner were planning on camping in the Lakes but after checking the weather, we decided to have a look at a last minute booking and we are SO glad that we did! Kenilworth Guest House is probably one of the nicest most welcoming places we have had the pleasure of staying in, being greeted at the door by Andy & Tracy and showed around their beautiful guest house to the homemade treats that you can help yourself to on a daily basis. There isn't one thing that we… could complain about, the rooms are spotless and immaculate. Gorgeous decor and so cosy, we absolutely loved it. The location is also brilliant, a short walk into Windermere and a 5 minute drive into Bowness. Breakfast is also amazing, they will cook anything you ask for and NOTHING is too much trouble. If you are looking for a nice couple of nights away to relax and chill out, then don't look any further and book here. You won't regret it! Thank you for ensuring our stay was lovely and being wonderful hosts. We will definitely be returning in the future and recommending to our friends and family.

Lovely place to stay! Great location, a few minutes from local shops and restaurants. 15 minutes from Bowness. Lovely freshly baked cakes every day! Great English breakfast too. Lovely spacious rooms, would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful guest house. Probably the cleanest and nicest place we've ever stayed. Quality products wonderful personal touches and very friendly, helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

As you walked into this beautiful property you were greeted with a welcoming smile, coffee and home baked cookies and cake. (Tracy caters for all dietary requirements, myself being vegan) The traditional rooms are clean and well equipped with the adddition of complimentary toiletries, bottled water, kettle and an assortment of teas and coffee. Andy and Tracy provide a wonderful breakfast (for all dietary requirements) fruit, and cake is available in the foyer for those who are in need of a snack. I cannot fault our stay here and I would highly recommend a visit. Many thanks, Sharon & Marc.

This was our first visit but certainly won't be the last. Andy and Tracy are wonderful hosts and their attention to detail second to none. The beautiful, old building is imaculate and beautifully furnished. Top quality mattress, excellent en suite, delicious breakfast, then there's the baking!

Fantastic find. Tracy and Andy were a very welcoming couple. Really good location, 2mins walk to Windermere and 10min walk from Bowness. We stayed in room 4, on the front of the property, but very quiet and beautifully decorated, with lovely solid wood furniture and a comfy king size bed with good quality bedding. Kenilwirth is exceptionaly clean and well presented (trust me in a clean freak) the ensuite shower room was modern and spotlessly clean with lovely complimentary toiletries. Tracy bakes lovely daily treats, which you can help yourself to, along with fresh orange and milk for your tea or coffees. Now on to the breakfast, Wow, the scrummy high quality Cumberland sausages are to die for, along with the homemade jams and marmalade. The attention to detail at Kenilworth is second to none for the great price. As you can guess I would highly recommend a lovely break in the home of Tracy and Andy. Well worth the money and we will be back!

Run by a very kind couple. Homy, clean room and bathroom. Great breakfast and homemade baked stuff that is yum! One of the best places we've stayed so far!

Lovely place. Tracy and Andy are wonderful hosts. The room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfasts and sweet treats were very nice too. The location is great for walking into the nearby towns.

This place is amazing! Be prepared to leave about a stone heavier as Tracy bakes some amazing stuff and the breakfasts are really filling. The room was lovely and clean and presented really well. The location is good as it's a short walk into Bowness and Windermere town centres. There is also a private car park at the back which is good to have peace of mind. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the lake district.

We go there every year and we love it. Andy and Tracey are wonderful and everything in the b&b is wonderful too.

The guest house is brilliant Tracey and Andy could not do enough for you, breakfast is great with plenty to eat. Will definitely come back here when we return to the Lakes. Definitely a 5 star place.
