Lake Side Hotels with a Pool

Great hotel with friendly staff, awesome views and really nice food but expensive! An example would be a cheese&onion sandwich with side salad and a few chips — average at best was £16.50! Albeit evening meal was amazing!

Exotic location, great decor, good service but too stiff (warm smile missing), good food.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in the Coniston Retreat and could not find a single fault. From the minute we arrived, everything was perfect. The lodge is stunning and immaculately clean. Every detail is thought out and there wasn’t a thing missing. The location is perfect and the views are stunning. We will definitely be returning and booking the lodge again. Highly recommend.

2nd stay at Avonwood Holiday park. First stay was in Coniston lodge in 2019 and this September we stayed in Rydal Retreat. Where to start, Christine and Andrew are friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was delightful and certainly went down well, cheers. The lodge itself is well maintained and has everything you need, comfy bed, comfy sofas and the view from the garden was breath taking. The hot tub was so relaxing and a lovely bonus. We would highly recommend a stay at Avon Wood.

Quiet, relaxing and peaceful. Dairy Cottage has it all!

Absolutely amazing place, the staff are so friendly and accomodating. Very good location and a very good place for a group.
