Just got back from a long weekend and absolutely loved it! We stayed in a beautiful caravan! The most modern we’ve ever stayed in, (C9) had an amazing sea view! The beach is also beautiful with spectacular views! Only thing missing was an on site shop for basics like bread and milk! But apart from that we couldn’t fault it! Would definitely stay again!

Because of the human effluent that appeared under my daughter's tent and the very rude Manager that couldn't care less. Two maintenance staff witnessed it. Holiday ruined any possibly tent too. Customer Services appalling!

Had to leave 2 days early after a horrific smell coming up through the tent. The photo shows what was underneath and it smelt like human waste. The lady on reception was lovely but the manager basically told us there was no chance even though it had been witnessed by 2 members of his maintenance team that also agreed it smelt just like human waste! The manager tried to say it was because it had been raining! We have camped twice a year for years and in worse weather than we had and never ever have we experienced the rain smelling of human waste! We had an upset child that lost out on holiday and not even an offer of a refund for the 2 days of our holiday that we missed! Disgusting customer service and would never ever recommend for campers wanting electric hook up. We don’t yet know if we can use the tent again. Spent 3 hours scrubbing it before we could even put it in the car and it still smells horrendously.

Highly recommended. Went with out 2 GSD FOR 2 nights EVERYONE is extremely friendly. PARK is well organised and near plenty to do if you wanted. Caravans are fantastic.

We arrived Monday and it was pouring and so windy but then we have had a great few days, dogs love it, fab walks, never get bored of the view from our caravan on row A. Beach Cafe lovely. Staff great and food.
Seacote hotel not so much, we ate their on Tuesday night. Staff a bit rude and food was ok but chips were like lumps of lard. Could do with a facelift too.
Caravan park lovely, no faults at all. We look forward to coming back.

Went in for birthday lunch, 6 people, food was disgusting! Lasagne had water sauce rather than cheese sauce, gammon not fully cooked and was very chewy, no onion rings with the burgers. Waitress was very nice though!

Enjoyed our stay. Good for stop over or weekend. However they are refurbishing. Great views and reception staff really lovely. Would visit again. Close to beach and lovely walks. An hour outside of the Lakes.

This is a decent hotel if you're looking for budget accommodations. It is literally steps from the beach, and if nothing else, this is a big plus. Also, they have rooms with direct access outside, so if you're travelling with dogs or kids it's very convenient. They have rooms with kitchens, so again, it's good for people on a budget. However, the rooms are very tired. There was wall damage in several places in my room, and the whole place could do with being refurbished. But if they did that, I doubt it would be so inexpensive, so there is a trade off. As this is easily the most adorable beachfront hotel I've ever stayed at, I'll give on room quality, because, who spends time in their room at the beach?

The hotel looks over the sea and is easy walking distance to the beach. Rooms are clean and fairly well presented. Food service is good, staff are friendly.

The staff are welcoming and friendly as is the area, the rooms are great and all on suite, the evening food was stunning, you are a stone throw from the beach and are surrounded by picturesque scenery and great walks.

Stayed here for three nights and can't really fault the place, especially for the money (we paid £60 a night for a double room with breakfast) We had a sea view from the room, the en suite bathroom was great, especially the shower, the bed very comfy, and the Wi-Fi great; I was able to stream a movie to my laptop, no problem. We also enjoyed the bar, manned by a nice chatty guy too. It's right on the coast, so perfect for an evening drink outside on a summer's evening.

This is a lovely hotel. The food is wholesome food. Not very disabled friendly.

Nice hotel, breakfast was amazing, for self catering I recommend room V15, it contains all items needed, cooker oven, microwave and all the utilities needed. Over all well wort it.

Lovely room. Clean. Comfortable bed. Large waterfall shower. Breakfast good. Self serve buffet style. Bar food ok (avoid nachos, fried in chip oil). Bar only has sky sports on tv. Staff friendly.

Don't be put off by the tired exterior. The rooms were of a very high spec. The breakfast was fab and the hotel is in a great spot. Couldn't fault it. Very reasonably priced too.

Very conveniently located hotel of you are looking to wake up with a sea view every morning. It's a short walk away from the St Bees Heritage Head where you can go for a pleasant stroll on top of the hill, or go for a walk by the cliffs. This place is very good if you are looking for a quiet getaway near the sea. The food at the restaurant was good and service was impeccable. The staff don't seem very happy but nevertheless their service was impeccable. There is a nicely sized bar with pool table if you look to chill out in the evening. Breakfast was basic, tasty but not much variey. Considering there weren't many guests it's to be expected. The room was very spacious, double of what you get in your typical chain hotel. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. Heating work without issues. Large screen TV and free Wi-Fi is included, although the signal was spotty in my room (close to non-existent). Overall I really enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort. Will visit again when the weather is better if I get a chance.

German standard. All clean. Bathroom super clean. No mushroom no shimmer beam white clean toilet. Shower wide and water flinged hot and strong. Highly recommended. Room clean. Bed comfortable and large. TV is big and a lot of English channels. Only breakfast deficient to insufficient. But this is so across England, English cuisine is not comparable to German or Turkish cuisine. In England you can only eat in MC Donalt, as you know what you get.

Excellent stay the room was lovely and it has a good booking out time-12noon.

Great location with clean rooms, people were so friendly there, above and beyond, beds were comfy.

The hotel is still undergoing some refurbishment but is still a pleasant and affordable place to stay. We took two twin rooms which had been done and they were very pleasant. Simple decor but very clean and with excellent facilities. The bar is a little lacking in character but staff are friendly. Proximity to the excellent beach and coastal path make for a very pleasant experience.

Just stayed the weekend with my two children & father. Check in was quick. Caravan location was good, not to far away. The caravan itself was beautiful by far the best I have stayed in! Modern throughout, big living room area, comfy beds, two bathrooms and even down to the little things like tea, coffee, UHT milk pots and biscuits being left for us was a lovely touch. Location of the site is so ideal, not even a 5 minute walk to a big play park which overlooks the sea, a shop/cafe and seacote hotel. Couldn't fault anything. We will be back!

I've not had many good experiences in private owned hotels lately so Seacote Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Modern, clean and comfy. A good size TV, great shower and very comfy bed. I also had a fabulous view of the sea, Wi-Fi was good enough to watch Netflix and staff were very friendly. I will definitely be staying again.

This is a basic caravan site but it has lovely walks and a lovely beach. There's a great play area for the kids. Hartleys have a lovely cafe and shop you get great icecream and of course there's the Seacote Hotel they do lovely meals and you can get a drink and has Wi-Fi for free. There is plenty of room for tents and mobile caravans motor homes. The train station is only 10 minutes walk into the centre of St. Bees it has several pubs and post office and shop. Whitehaven is only one train stop away.

Good food, even for well over 100 people. Well positioned on the sea front of St Bees.

Sunday roast ran out by 2pm and they didn't serve anymore food until 7pm so we had to go elsewhere after paying to park our cars etc and with 2 hungry kids, and adults.

Very good hotel, with direct access to the beach. Rooms are tidy and spacious. You can easily get lost in the narrow corridors. :-) Reception lady was very friendly and gave us some good advice about Keswick. Breakfast was eat as much as you can, till your belly craks open. It has a nice location, too.

Terrible food! The mashed potatoes, veg, cabbage and cauliflower were all warmed up from earlier in the day Overall a bad meal and for the price of £8.95 NOT recommended, stay away, well away.

Excellent food well presented. Rooms clean and have what you need. Staff all very friendly and helpfull. Get a room with a sea view. Makes a good base for The Lake District. Have a walk along the cliff top at St Bee's Head. No problem comming again.

Fairly unprepossessing from the outside, but they actually do a perfectly decent pub-style lunch at a very fair price.
