Superb take away roast today. Chicken, beef and veggie in the family. Great gravies, good portions and beautifully presented in recyclable packaging. Fabulous! Easy to book too. Makes Sunday bearable in lockdown! Thanks to all of you…

We visited today for Christmas lunch and we were blown away by the amazing food, wonderful service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Consistently the best thing about Lockdown — a Kings Arms Takeaway.
The amazing roast dinners sustained us through Lockdown 1 and just had a fantastic Asian takeaway to ease us through LD2.
Don’t miss out. Can’t recommend highly enough. We will be back.

Enjoyed drinks here on Friday night and then returned again Saturday afternoon and had some lite bites to share together. The food was lush. Both me and my hubby said we could’ve eaten it all over again it was that good. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere both on a night and during the day.

Fabulous meal, lovely friendly service. All meals on our table of 8 were perfect and desserts to die for the Banoffee pot I can't even describe how good this is! my 5 year old managed a roast pork dinner and enjoyed it so much he has asked to go again.

This place is the best I’ve ever been in Kirkby Lonsdale. Everyone is so friendly and nice. If you go to Kirkby Lonsdale and stay anywhere else then you are silly. The kings is the best. Ever. So much love.

Lovely place, so welcoming to us and our boxer cross, staff and locals both welcoming and chatty, ace beer, it’s a local away from your local.

Fantastic stay at the king's arms. Beautifully presented cottages in a stunning village. Cottages have no kitchen facilities but everything you need is right on the doorstep, so didn't bother us too much. The cottages were extremely well priced and the host couldn't do enough for you. Would certainly return.

We visited this pub while staying in Kirkby Lonsdale and only had a couple of drinks there… the landlord was friendly and accommodating and plenty of draft beers to choose from! Toilet facilities were lovely and clean with decent handwash and fast hand dryers! A good pub to visit!

We were up in Kirkby Lonsdale for my wife’s birthday celebrations with 12 more of our friends called in to the Kings Arms like we did last year. What a brilliant pub and the big guy behind the bar couldn’t do enough for us really made us feel at home. All our friends commented about how friendly it has been and deffo coming back.

We were in Kirkby Longsdale for the weekend with a group of friends and what a great place, brilliant staff. Landlord fantastic for putting up with our gang. Great music and lovely atmosphere.

Love what's happened to this place recently! There's a nice beer garden out the back now, and the band the other night were pretty cool too. Great atmosphere. Worth a pint or 2.

Great Pub, great hosts stayed in one of the cottages which were excellent value, clean and had the facilities necessary for a family of four. No bath.

Dog friendly. Seems popular with the locals. Currently got scaffolding up but big and open inside. Nice and friendly staff. Had a few beers in their and enjoyed it.

Was nice rooms with plenty of space. Noise was a bit much from the bar but we were warned and the rain soon caused the people outside to scatter! Overall was good value for money and area is nice. 7/10.

Good local pub with a great pool table stayed in the cottage quirky cosy and very handy for the town.

Such a nice place to go for a drink. Dog friendly too. Food looks lovely but didn't eat there. The bar staff were a little slow and took a while to get served when they were all stood around talking but I think that was a genuine mistake, don't think it's the norm. Will definitely return.

Good crack if that's your sort of thing. Very loud music, Karaoke and reasonably cheap booze. Not for me to be honest, but its not pretending to be anything it isn't.

A nice pub and worth the visit.

Cottage for 4 people, but there was only seating for two people, only toilet was the en-suite in the upstairs bedroom, making it very awkward for the other couple to use the facilities. The pub does not do evening meals, so we had to go to another pub in the village. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The cottage should only be marketed for two people, have had another look at the web site, and there was absolutely nothing luxurious about our stay, very disappointed.

Went in here recently, had a couple of pints, enjoyed the atmosphere, bar staff very friendly and polite, would call again :).
