The best B and B we have ever stayed in! Amazing location, rooms are spotless and Ben and Fiona are so so lovely… really welcoming and friendly and really catered to our specific needs. My daughter and I are already planning our return trip!

Just stayed at Squirrel Lodge for 2 nights due to working on a Local Environment Agency Project. Ben and Fiona were fantastic in helping organise our stay under these strange circumstances.
Room are lovely and cosy, extremely clean and well set out, the Full English breakfasts are top notch too.
Will defiantly be paying the Goodman’s another visit, both with work and with the family next time.

The hosts are absolutely brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel really welcome. Breakfast is brilliant and the place is lovely and clean!

Stayed only 1 night but fantastic stay. Ben and Fiona couldn't have been more welcoming! Great location, bed comfortable and room clean. We had a lovely stay at Squirrel Lodge Guest House this week! We were warmly welcomed, the accommodation was comfortable and cleaned every day, the breakfast was tasty and catered to all tastes, and they gave us great recommendations for places to eat or shop and for places to see and activities to do in the broader Lake District area. I’d recommend this guest house to anyone wanting to enjoy this amazing region!

What a great place to stay. Such a warm welcome and made to feel at home right away. The room was great — so clean, with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Keswick town centre is only a short walk away (around 6 minutes) and everything else is within easy reach. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice. We will most definitely be staying there again. Thanks to Ben and Fiona for such a great first visit to Keswick.

Our stay at squirrel lodge was amazing.! Ben and Fiona couldn’t be more welcoming on arrival and make you feel completely at home. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. It is within a short walking distance of the town and the lakes themselves. Breakfast was amazing too! We loved it that much we booked again as we we checked out, can’t wait to go back.

Just got back from 10 day stay at Squirrel Lodge, It is a very friendly and clean guest House, Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable room with a bathroom with bath and shower, bed linen and towels were changed twice during our stay. We had no difficulty in finding a parking space, and it was only a short walk into Keswick. I would stay again if visiting Keswick.

I highly recommend this beautiful, cosy little b&b… Lovely clean rooms, central heating, delicious well catered for breakfast (my girlfriend is vegan and she enjoyed a yummy breakfast — just gave our host some prior notice so she could get the ingredients). Great host and superb location. Will definitely be back. Thank you :)
