Fantastic room owners best u can get room stunning clean more than I can ask for well recommend.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, l can’t put into words how welcoming the hosts are and funny OMG funny my cheeks are aching because of the laughter we experienced whilst staying at the accommodation.
If you want a perfect holiday then l hand on heart fully and whole heartedly promote this place! Heidi and Pete are the nicest, most genuine people we have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with and will be ensuring we have an extra holiday in the UK just to experience the laughter and enjoyment we did… 💯 class.

Great location, lovely clean and spacious rooms, honesty fridge comes in very handy too! 👌🏻

Just returned from another stay and we can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable bed and the breakfasts are gorgeous with lots of choice and service. Pete and Heidi are knowledgeable about places to go and things to do and we think this is the perfect base. If you want a place with car parking, slightly out of the main hustle and bustle but near enough to walk to (or get a bus or taxi) this is the place. The sunrise each morning over Carbis bay was beautiful, we had jokingly asked Heidi to keep some sunshine for us and she even did that. Thank you and as soon as we can work our shift patterns we will be booking again x.

Wonderful week at Chy an Gwedhen while in St Ives for the first time for a wedding. Heidi and Pete are wonderful hosts, with excellent advice about things to see, where to eat, and how to get around. Our rooms were comfortable and included many thoughtful touches, and we had a wonderful view of Carbis Bay. Breakfasts were delicious too. We would definitely recommend Chy an Gwedhen. Just got back from two nights in the lovely setting of St Ives and I would definitely recommend chy an gewhen b+b as the place to stay. The location is perfect to commute to the beach and the town centre. Pete and Heidi are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was immaculate very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. We will definitely stay there again next year.

Everything about Chy an Gewdhen is just perfect, the accommodation, the location, the breakfast (have the smoked haddock — you won't be disappointed). Heidi and Pete are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble, both bright, bubbly, great fun. Book now to avoid disappointment. I promise you won't be. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was first class and very clean, friendly and welcoming. We had a superb stay and can’t wait to go back. The extensive breakfast was lovely and the service was 5 star. The coastal path to Carbis Bay and St Ives is right beside the house and really isn’t that far. The bus service is excellent too. Can’t recommend it enough. Mark and Mandy.

Bathroom is really good and of high build quality. The view is breathtaking (if the weather plays along) and the rooms are well equipped.

A wonderful welcome, the owners were always on hand to answer any questions we had. Our room was brilliant, had everything we needed for our stay and the location was perfect, close to St Ives but also nice and quiet. Will be staying here again.

Nice place and wonderful owners! It's like to stay at home but a bit better! Awesome room and wonderful view from our room window especially at the dawn! Pete's full english breakfast is tasty and really full! We'd have liked to stay more! Thx a lot for yr kindness and ospitality!

Myself and my Husband stayed here for a long weekend, and can't praise Heidi & Pete enough. They are excellent hosts, they were friendly, funny, and served a brilliant breakfast. We stayed in room 3 for one night, which had amazing sea and beach views, the room was clean and bright, with a very comfortable bed. Our next 2 nights we had room 2, which unfortunately didn't have a sea view, but was still a lovely clean room, with a comfortable bed. And both rooms had great en suites. Just wished we'd stayed longer. But hay ho… hope to see you both again x.

Excellent place to stay, we had a room with a sea view, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a good choice. Heidi & Peter are friendly people and good hosts. The place is conveniently situated within walking distance of St Ives or a short bus ride. Would highly recommend a stay here.
