Fabulous hotel, clean room and 2 lovely pools and sauna. Staff very friendly and helpful. Defiantly stay again.

My wife and I had a lovely one week stay at the Kilbirnie Hotel in Newquay. The accommodation was very nice. The food was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and attentive! Communication between staff was very good!

Just arrived but the welcome was good. Staff are very nice and the dinner was excellent.

Such a lovely stay there for the week, was there for my honeymoon, and I couldn't be more happy with how everything went and how lovely every staff there was. Would definitely recommend staying there, especially for their breakfast and dinner!

Great week spent with you and enjoyed every minute. Lovely hotel, in a room with a gorgeous view, spotlessly clean everywhere, and lovely friendly staff.
A lovely welcome from the front desk staff when we arrived, and Dan in the bar who was always smiling and cheerful (unless he was pouring Proper Job which was playing up 😜), and all the staff in the restaurant, especially Monike who was always smiling and happy.
The breakfasts were lovely, with a great choice, and we also enjoyed the one meal we had in the restaurant, and the bar meals.
We will definitely be back!

Steve is a wonderful manager and I can’t recommend this place enough! A fantastic hotel with a fantastic/staff. Rooms and a delight to stay in and the service was always immaculate. Definitely going to come back ASAP.

Highly recommend this place; clean, modern, professional, I slept like a baby and a bacon, sausage and egg bap with filter coffee and fresh orange juice was delivered to my room! Awesome! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the minute we arrive at the hotel till the minute we left we couldn't have a bad word. The staff on reception were so welcoming and the staff that serve is breakfast couldn't of made us feel any more welcome. The room we stayed in was lovley. The pools were gorgeous and very clean and the food was fantastic. All throughout the hotel was clean and tidy. Overall extremely happy and would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks again guys for a beautiful stay x.

It was fantastic specially their reception counter members was very friendly & helpful they provided service beyond my expectations and makes our stay enjoyable. Very clean hotel and great house keeping team as well. Swimming pool was fantastic. Breakfast also standard. The main thing is my family enjoyed and liked it too much. Thanks to to the hotel team for give unforgettable nice service. Definitely will visit again.

I stayed here for 1 night. What a difference it has been completely modernised from top to bottom. Food was good. Staff helpful and friendly. The only down side no air conditioning but I did stay on the hottest day of the year. But I had a good night sleep WELL DONE KILBIRNIE HOTEL.

Single rooms are small but food is good and the bar prices are cheep.

Friendly staff. Food lovely. Hotel and rooms damned cold, Even with extra heating. Hubby sat in bed with coat on. 4 hours after returning home hubby was in hospital with pneumonia and I had pleurisy. 1 star rating is generous.

The hotel was nice but noisily, the staff was very kind. Just in our bathroom taps was very old and water dropped all night. Breakfast also wasn't very good.

This hotel is amazing spa bath, sauna and swimming pool inside. Also breakfast were amazing people good choose variation of food. I read to many reviews doubting this place, but I think those people need to pull out silver spoon from somewhere where the silver doesn't shine! 3 stars are accurate to this place! Staff is highly rated from 0 — 10 they have 11. Thank you for great time in you hotel.

We booked to stay here for a 2 night break, the staff were friendly and helpful this is a positive! A few negative points: we had booked a superior double room… This was not the case the room was extremely basic and small, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and you could only have a bath as the shower was connected to the bath taps, there was no thermostat on the shower which meant getting a normal temperature was impossible! We had full english/buffet breakfast included in the price, again this was not great and not worth the money we paid. We ended up only staying one night and left the next day. Parking is difficult for taller/larger vehicles as you can only park at the front of the hotel and it gets extremely busy. The location is great but serious modernisation needed.

Cold food, cold pool, freezing cold jacuzzi but scalding hot water in the taps in the rooms. Most nh unhelpful manager ever who just said well complain on the night about your food to the staff and the in house "handy man" has fixed the jacuzzi several days in a Row! Also said you have to expect it to be cold by 2.00'asmpeoplemhave been using it! What a load of rubbish. Lot of guests come across on coaches from Germany and stop the one night so the atmosphere goes from lively 1 day to dead the next. Came here some 23 years ago with hubby and loved it but it is now old fashioned, outdated with tarnished cutlery and dirty cups in the bedrooms with 2 teabags only which were not replaced! Thank goodness for Tescos express next door. Staff were very nice but I think this was to try and make up for the inadequcies of the hotel Would give it a 0 if I could — never again ever.

Great place, lovely staff and situated minutes from the beach. It also has a swimming pool and hot tub. It did seem old but I thought it gave it character and warmth my only problem was with the mattress which I thought was stiff but overall I had enjoyed my self and would definitely recommend.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at the Kilbirnie hotel. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff into a welcoming reception. Our room and bathroom was spotless and comfortable. The towels provided were very clean and refreshed daily, as was the complimentary tea and coffee. Breakfast was adequate, well cooked and tasty, although the change of staff on Monday was obvious but still acceptable. If you haven't booked evening meals you can do it daily or there are plenty of places to eat if you make a short walk into town. Overall a good all round experience, we would stay again and recommend.

I stayed here on a last minute decision and really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly (Even when in a bird flew! Note: Don't leave your windows open when you go to dinner. ) It was a small, single room but it was very accurate for what I needed. Downside was that I did no have Wi-Fi, with being a foreigner with a limited data plan, that was semi-frustrating.

Great Holiday, great rooms and friendly staff, after having read other reviews was a little worried, but found everything was just what we needed for a holiday in newquay.

Well… I don't know where to start so let me give it a go. Firstly, this "hotel" is what two star English hotels used to be like in the 70's. Fawlty Towers in Newquay (without the charm). This is not what we expected considering every other hotel we stayed in was lovely. The rate was £110 per night for two adults sharing. This places rating of 3 * is suspect — we stayed 3* and 4* hotels throughout our trip that put this to shame — all at similar rates. The receptionist told us that their target market was through deal making with coach companies — and that the hotel is not maintained because there is some deal under way to flatten it and several others to build a new hotel there. Breakfast ended early, I think about 9:30, without notice beforehand. You must vacate by 10:30 — also early. Don't expect a comfortable bar either — nor a good selection of drinks. when it comes to dinner, I don't know — becasue I wouldn't have bothered even finding out what was happening. The sauna — you must pay to use. The pool is closed at 8, which I suppose is fair enough. Don't expect much else.
