Excellent stay at The Lugo Rock! Katie and a John were great and we loved our stay. Lots of nice little touches and they were happy to answer all our questions. Highly recommend staying here to visit Falmouth or to visit Cornwall.

What a lovely place — my room was lovely with the wood panelling and nice and cool. Lovely people who could not have done more for me — given Covid restrictions, the only thing missing was a hug! Thanks Katie! Look forward to coming back x.

A wonderful bed and breakfast, catered for our gluten and dairy free needs, beds are really comfy, rooms clean and well decorated. A 2 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk into Falmouth town centre. Can't ask for more,

I feel lucky for coming across the Lugo Rock! Having stayed in Falmouth most weeks this year I feel like a conisour of Hotels and B&Bs. I have chosen to write this to highlight the best in Falmouth. 1. Good Parking…
Lugo Rock has its own car park, very useful for the long distance traveller. Never had any issues with getting a space in my 10+ stays. 2. Fantastic Rooms.
The rooms do vary in size, with some having more period features than others. All are immaculately presented, with the bathrooms equally clean. Most impressed. 3. Accommodating.
Katie and Phil have always been the most accommodating hosts, with nothing being too big or small. I have checked in at all hours, and have had some nice room upgrades too. 4. Value.
Having recently stayed in a local ‘manor’ hotel, I know which I would return to. The room fittings, size and pricing at Lugo Rock is pretty unmatched here in Falmouth. 5 Stars for Lugo Rock.

My two sisters and I stayed 3 nights at Lugo Rock in Falmouth, and wish we could've stayed 3 weeks! Katie is a truly exceptional hostess. She greeted us brightly when we first arrived, and each morning chatted with us before and after breakfast about our previous experiences. She kindly accommodated all of our breakfast requests and brought us extra blankets because we are cold sleepers! We had the pleasure of meeting Master Olly, and look forward to meeting Phil next time we stay. Breakfasts were SO delicious every morning. The Guest House itself is in the most perfect location — far enough out of town that it's very quiet at night, but only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town when you want to get to the action. It's 2 minutes on foot to the beach and to the coastal path, where we spent most of our time! Falmouth is a wonderful place, and I can't think of a better place to have stayed while we were there. Thank you so much, Katie, for contributing to one of the highest points of our trip to the U. K.! We will be back! Look no further if you are looking for somewhere perfect to stay in Falmouth.

Very nice people! The rooms were good, excellent showers. Also very clean. You could order breakfast a day in advance and that was really good aswell. A real pleasant stay!

Very friendly people! The room was clean and comfortable, and the lunch was very good! I liked the fact that the shower was able to get very hot and put out a lot of water. In hotels/b&b's this often is not the case. The room was spacious and even had seating and a bureau. The bed was also really nice.

An excellent friendly B&B on the top of the hill between the town and the beach. The host Katie is also there to meet you on arrival and cooks up a good breakfast to set your day off to a good start. The rooms are comfy and has reasonable Wi-Fi. I tend to stay there on work trips but would probably have it as my go to B&B if I was visiting Falmouth by land.

Only stayed 1 night but a brilliant stay very welcoming lovely breakfast with a good chat with Katie and her friend with this experience Lugo Rock deserves to do well!

Lovely b and b. Such welcoming owners. Really clean and warm and beds very comfy. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Katie couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Will be back. Wouldn't consider anywhere else in Falmouth now. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant B&B. Couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful wood panneled room. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Best of all fresh milk. Plentiful, well cooked breakfast. I shall be booking again.

Katie and Phil were very friendly and helpful, even received a parcel for me before I arrived… and posted my phone charger back to me at no cost when I forgot it. Slept like a log on the memory foam mattress, proper power shower is brilliantly high-pressure, breakfast was great… and all at a lower price than the two less nice hotels I stayed in in Falmouth were charging. Great work guys, keep it up!

Great location, couple of minutes to the beach one way or a 10 minute walk to the town the other. Room was comfy, bright and airy. Breakfast was great and the host Kate was so very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again if our travels to us back to Falmouth.

Lugo Rock is a superb bed and breakfast in Falmouth. Close to the wonderful white sandy beaches and blue sea which you can see next to the property a short walk. The owners are welcoming, friendly, knowledegable hosts who will advise where to visit to make your trip or holiday special. The Hotel is very competitivly priced, the accommodation is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated to a high standard and is a relaxing, comfortable Hotel in a very nice location close to all the attractions of Falmouth, Truro and Lands End, the Eden Project and the Rick Stein restarant are all close by. Devon is just a short journey away and this location is the best you will find for a central location for a family trip. The food is superb and you will find no finer relaxing bed and breakfast in Falmouth. Highly recemmended. Paul Davies.

As soon as we arrived at Lugo Rock, Philip opened the door for us (didn't even have to ring the bell) and introduced himself, and told us all about the hotel and Falmouth. We chose this hotel due to it's location, which is only 3 min walk from the beach and a 10 min walk from the town centre. The hotel itself is clean, but a little cramped, but that didn't bother us one bit. We were situated in Room 2, just inside the entrance. The room had plenty of space, a king size bed, en-suite bathroom, one large window (which we didn't know how to close) and sufficient lighting. The toilet did make some odd noises after flushing though, especially after a large flush. The mini-flush was not so bad. The location of the room within the hotel was not the best, this was because it was right inside the main entrance where the hosts greeted new guests. So we could hear all conversations, which made it hard to nap between the hours of 4pm and 6pm! The piano in the lounge was next door to us as well, which was played quite loudly while we were there, but it didn't bother us too much. As for breakfast… gorgeous. Piping hot and always served professionally from the very friendly waitresses.
