From the moment you walk in to moment you leave you feel relaxed and have everything you could possibly need. Nothing is too much trouble and Racheal the owner was happy to answer my questions even at 9pm :) We can’t wait to come back soon with our friends 🥰💖 Thank you Kelly & Daz.

What can I say? The owner of Cheshire Boutique Barns has gone above and beyond to help me arrange a very special honeymoon stay for special friends. Nothing was too much trouble and the newlyweds were overwhelmed by the hospitality and very special welcome. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Me and my new Husband have just stayed I'm the Nest which we booked despite being 40minutes from our venue as we fell in love with it when we looked at a different venue. It was well worth the trip after the wedding. Loved the cosy feel and the romantic space outside with the cute tub! there was a 'just married' sign and balloons left for us which was a fab touch! would love to visit again one day. Maybe for our anniversary! thank you for a gorgeous experience.

Me and my partner had a lovely anniversary weekend in The Nest at Cheshire Boutique Barns. It was so lovely and cosy, the pub up the road was lovely! It’s all very quiet and out of the way so perfect for a relaxing weekend away from the kids! Thank you!

Just returned home after a lovely three nights spent at the Old Parlour Barn, for my Husband’s 40th. We had the most perfect stay, it was beyond relaxing. Despite the current uncertain times our host Rachael made every effort to ensure everything was in place and still to the highest standard, whilst making necessary changes to keep us safe. The barn is decorated beautifully, it has a unique and rustic feel as well as being luxurious. It is well equipped with everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The exterior courtyard is completely private and stunning, even on a rainy this can be enjoyed due to the glass roof. The location is tranquil, surrounded by green space, with picturesque villages and plenty of eateries near by, also with in driving distance to many attractions.
I would highly recommend a break away at Cheshire Boutique Barns. My Husband felt super special on his Birthday, having such perfect accommodation and even a massage from the local beautician who came to the barn. I must also mention the largest bath I have ever seen, in the potting shed, it took me back to my childhood not being able to reach the end! There was nothing more relaxing than having a bath with the doors slung open, fresh air on my face, glass of champagne in my hand and a view of the countryside.
We were sad to leave but will hopefully be back one day. 5 stars from us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely location which you can plan plenty of trips with the centre location, the accommodation is lovely we are stopping in the cowshed which is lovely.

We had the BEST weekend staying in The Cowshed! The most lovely setting, so cosy and relaxing. Rachael has truly thought of every detail, making anyones stay at the barn extra special. Even with a baby and a 3 year old in tow this venue still managed to be romantic! Thank you again for such a wonderful weekend, we will definitely be back xxx.

We stayed in the Cowshed and had the most perfect evening! The attention to detail is incredible, from the lighting down to the fully equipped kitchen, a selection of teas and coffee for the morning, lots of dvds and books to chose from and the cosiest dressing gowns for after your bath. We also loved reading about the repurposed furniture! We will definitely be returning and hope to try another barn soon.

Second time visiting the cowshed In 6 months due to mine and my hubbys 40ths. We loved it so much the 1st time we didn’t want to risk going anywhere else incase it didn’t live up to the same experience. Rachael the owner and team couldn’t do anymore. This place is something else and the attention to detail is amazing. Such a relaxing experience for us every time. If you have a chaotic lifestyle like us it’s perfect for recharging. Can’t wait to visit again soon (gorgeous roast dinners too in the local pub/gin bar The Cholmondeley) xxx.

Rachael has been fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The garden room is beautiful and cosy it is so peaceful. The room is decorated beautiful and everything has been thought of. I have enjoyed just sitting and watching the animals roaming around. For a mom of three boys it’s nice just to stop and take it all in. Thank you Rachael we will definitely be back and for longer next time. Definitely recommend this absolutely gorgeous place.

Absolutely loved our child-free, grownup sleepover in the beautiful Garden Room. The fire had been lit ready for our arrival, with champagne on ice and the atmosphere was just perfect for a romantic night away. I can see us coming back time and time again, the question is which barn do we try next.?

What an amazing little place with a host that cannot do enough for her guests! We stayed in the Garden rooms this weekend for my partner's birthday and it's been amazing. From arriving to the very last minute we left we loved it and we will definitely be returning. The ladies let us have a sneaky peak at the other barns available and they are all fab! see you again for sure xx.

My husband surprised me with a stay in the Garden Barn for our mini moon and what a wonderful surprise! It’s absolutely beautiful and so romantic with all of the thoughtful finishing touches such as a roaring fire, candles and a bottle of gin to welcome us!

Sorting the groomsmen on Friday/Saturday with what they tell me was a gorgeous breakfast and even helping a guest out who’d forgotten his tie The accommodation youv created is absolutely stunning and breathtaking, the attention to detail in each barn is just something else, they are amazing and so cosy!

We stayed here from 12th-15th of August in the garden room barn and just wow! This place was absolutely incredible! The pictures don't do this place justice, if you're looking for a quiet retreat this place is perfect. We used it for a short motorbike holiday and the roads were just perfect around there for biking, especially through Wrenbury to Nantwich. Rachael our hostess was so approachable and made us so comfortable, we highly recommend here and we will definitely be back! Thanks again Rachael, your barns are stunning.

I cannot even describe how perfect the last couple of days have been at our stay at The Cow Shed. It is a little hidden wonder of pure paradise! I booked it for my boyfriends surprise early birthday celebrations & he was well & truly surprised, especially with the hidden bath tubs! Rachael has put so much thought and effort into designing these barns & we can’t wait to stay at the different ones ❤️❤️❤️

We recently spent two nights after our wedding in The Garden Room and it was everything we wanted and more. Rachael has thought of everything and we came away so relaxed and already wanting to book our next stay. We had fantastic meals at both The Nags Head and The Cholmondeley Arms and the barns are in an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas. Thank you and we can't wait till next time! We had 3 days in The Nest as it was a perfect pocket of heaven — we loved every minute of it. It was chic, private romantic and cosy and the customer service was perfect. We will most definitely be back xx.

We have just spent 2 nights in The Cowshed to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was absolutely perfect.
The setting is beautiful with lots of places to visit locally and some lovely pubs close by.
By far the best bit though is the accommodation, it is truly stunning.
The attention to detail is amazing and we loved all the little quirky features in the barn.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to escape their busy lives for a few days in quiet luxury. We will definitely be coming back.

We were attending the North West Tough Mudder Event and wanted a bit of luxury after a gruelling and punishing time in the Cheshire hills. Rachael and her team were attentive and excelled at making us feel at home without being intrusive, they were fantastic to deal with, a joy to speak to and beyond helpful. The place itself is stunning. A little piece of heaven. … We will ABSOLUTELY be back in the future…

A group of us booked out all of the barns for a long weekend and had the loveliest time! There is nothing Rachael has not thought of — the barns were gorgeous and so homely. Will definitely be back to enjoy in the winter time to make use of the fires and all of the cosy home furnishings! Highly recommend :)

Stayed three nights in the Cowshed barn in August 2018 to attend a friend's wedding. The barn is very clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated and the bed is one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. Rachael was such a welcoming and helpful host, recommending some really nice local pubs. Great location in the peaceful Cheshire countryside.

I have no idea where to start with this review. From the moment of booking Rachel was amazing providing us with all the local info that we needed in relation to the best walks, breakfasts, dinner spots and local events. Rachel assisted me with all the finer details to ensure that our stay was that little bit extra special from the 33 red eco balloons that were beautifully arranged in our barn to the large bouquet of yell. Ow peonies, roses and sunflowers that greeted us. She also supplied a fresh fruit platter and chocolate birthday cake as a lovely substitute to the champagne (noon drinkers :) ) After our evening lunch we were welcomed back in the evening to a hot aroma bubble bath in candlelight with the log fire burning and when we peeped outside the fire pit was roaring away with the chairs blankets pillows and even water bottles ready and waiting. There is nothing but bliss about this place. No matter what time it is or how far in advance Rachel is always on hand to answer your questions. An absolutely magical stay and I cannot wait to come back x x x.

We stayed in the garden Room at the Cheshire Boutique Barns, a beautiful and perfect hideaway for our first wedding anniversary. Rachael and Louis were the perfect hosts and looked after our every requests. If you are looking for complete relaxation with a touch of elegance this is the place for you. This is more than worthy of its 5star rating and we will most definitely be looking to come back.

I had been looking for a special place to stay in Cheshire to celebrate a birthday, and I found The Garden Room barn. We loved it. It’s beautiful and we will go back in the autumn and spend more time in the area. We went for dinner to the Chalmondley Arms which was fab — lively, casual and great food and to a nearby lake cafe for breakfast which was also lovely — especially in this exceptional hot weather. Staying at the barn beats staying in a hotel hands down. We loved the interior design Rachael — great job. X.

Amazing stay in such a beautiful place, leaving was so hard! The attention to detail is phenomenal and everything about the decor, beds, scents and location make you feel soooo relaxed. I can not wait to go back!

A birthday treat that did not disappoint. This place is amazing and I felt totally relaxed within minutes. The bed is sumptuous… like sleeping in a marshmallow cloud. The garden room has the most amazing views and the firepit and loungers just add to the experience. We didn't get the Chance to meet Rachael but Lydia the housekeeper was really lovely. The dusty miller pub by the canal does great food and Sophie is very professional and friendly as a host. 5 mins in the opposite direction is the chum… cholmonley arms. An award winning pub with lots of character. Also recommend over water marina for tea cakes or breakfadt… and the lovely village of auldem for walks along the canal and thru fields. Me and my boyfriend stayed in The Cowshed for his birthday weekend. Everything was perfect! Absolutely nothing to complain about. We walked into the village which was only a 20 minute walk and stopped off at The Dusty Miller, which is a lovely pub. The barn was so relaxing, amazing private garden area with a fire, BBQ and outside bath. Everything was spotless inside and had everything you needed. Would recommend to any couples looking for a relaxing time away, can not wait to return. Thank you for a perfect weekend.

Hands down the most gorgeous boutique hideouts in the UK. After my stay in the Garden barn, I may have to rethink ever bothering to go abroad on holiday again.
After a 5 hour drive up from London to Manchester, I made my way over to The Cheshire Barns for a recovery interval before the journey home. Check in was easy — you simply follow the instructions on the email and type in the code on the high tech security lock of your allocated barn (apartment/ house). What greeted us was a decadent, luxury retreat covered in soft fur throws, fragrant flowers, fairy lights, candles, a log fire and strawberry champagne. I was speechless.
There is a number to call should you need anything — massages, spa treatments and even chauffeur driven cars in the VIP service are all on hand!
Down the road are two incredible pubs full of character, one being the Cholmondesley Arms serving 366 types of gin and the other being a converted windmill offering a delicious array of hearty country food.
Being a born and bred londoner, it is the first time in a long time that I have experienced such silence — I lamost couldn't sleep sinking into that giant marshmallow of an Egyptian cotton bed. It was also the first time in a long time that I have seen the star-littered night sky so clearly. If you don't fancy sitting outside by the fire to admire this, you can run yourself a hot bubble bath in the copper tub made for 2 and simply admire the view through the ceiling windows.

WOW! What a weekend! If we didn’t have to get back to see our little boy (who we’ve missed lots) we’d like to stay for longer!
It’s idyllic! … it’s perfect! From the moment we parked up and looked inside the garden room we felt so relaxed! … Rachel is fab! So friendly and nothing is too much trouble! … the personal finishing touches in the garden room are like no where we’ve seen before (and we’ve travelled a fair bit! ) … it’s just amazing! The scenery and location of the barns couldn’t be better… we ate at the Dusty Miller and the CHOLMONDELEY Arms (our new fave place to eat and drink! ) for dinner and for lunch the pheasant inn was fab! there is simply nothing I can fault! We’ll be booking a return visit as soon as we’re home and can check our diaries! Can’t recommend it enough! Totally in love with this place!

Amazing stay at the Cheshire Boutique Barns. Rachel and Louis so welcoming and the Barn itself was out of this world. Everything was thought of and the fire was burning on arrival with champagne at the ready. The linen/towels etc really high quality. We loved the recommendation of the gin pub down the road too, The Cholmdeley Arms. Had a fabulous weekend, definitely 5 star! Many thanks we will be back!

What attention to detail … I love this place. I have stayed a few times in different barns and they are all different but have the same gorgeous feel. Rachel was so kind and made us a special breakfast, not something usually on offer but just so kind and SO delicious. We would stay again in a flash. In fact, lucky that we haven't moved in permanently!

Outstanding, stunning, immaculately designed luxury rooms. Attention to every detail, beautiful roll-top bath, incredibly comfortable bed and furniture. We spent the most romantic relaxing weekend. Rachael was an amazing host and even organised fabulous massages for us, and provided a first class breakfast on the Sunday. We could not recommend this place highly enough, it is unique. We’ll definitely be back!

The cowshed was even more stunning in person than in the pictures! We had the most amazing time chilling by the fire, playing the retro board games and enjoying the indoor and outdoor baths with a glass of champagne! The bed was heaven and we loved all the unique little touches that have gone in too creating this amazing space.
We have stayed in many different places but the cowshed is by far the most unique and my favourite! Normally towards the end of my time away I start to look forward to going back to my home comforts but I did not want to leave and was gutted to come home! Rachael was warm and welcoming, whilst giving us the peace and space to enjoy our stay but also let us know she was available to help if we needed anything. We will most definitely be back for another stay! You will not be disappointed!

Visited recently for our baby free minimoon. Stayed in the 'Cowshed' and it was beautiful, enabled us to relax after a hectic few months. The accommodation is amazing and loved all of the hints, tips and recommendations from Rachael. We didn't even make it out for a meal the first night because a takeaway in front of the fire was more inviting. We visited Piste for a meal and the food was amazing! Would def recommend!
