A good Premier Inn. Accommodation only, no restaurant or bar, but these are provided by the adjacent Paul Pry franchise inn (you can even get room service from there). There is a bit where you can grab a muffin and a coffee in the morning but I’ve no idea who would want that. The rooms are clean and comfortable and despite being on a busy road, they are set back away from it and are very quiet. There’s loads of parking and it’s easy to navigate. It’s popular with workers so the car park can get crammed with transit vans, but even then this isn’t a problem.

Hotel was okay, the restaurant was not so good. Meat was poorly cooked. All well over cooked. Breakfast in the morning was just as bad. Luckily they have pastries!

Clean tidy situated next to a pub and local amenities.

This is a wonderful hotel, the rooms are what they should be, clean and maintained (the artwork is fantastic), huge TV, comfy bed, plugged in my amazon firestick too. Tea and coffee (as much as wanted). Rooms cleaned daily by lovely and friendly staff. It is on a main road but at night you would never know, even in a road-facing room it is quiet. If there are noisy people, a call to reception sorts it out promptly. Perfect Now the most important part. The staff in the hotel are little short of incredible. They are very knowledgeable of the areas and surrounding areas, very easy to have a "normal" chat with, very accommodating — generally AMAZING. The pub/restaurant where I had breakfast — well only 1 word I can think of — YUMMY. Continental breakfast is perfect, cooked breakfast too yummy. I could take food back to my room too. No pressure or fussing, eat as much of anything as you like too. Very highly recommended.

Good hotel for short accommodation. Slightly on the expensive side, averaging £80-£90 a night including breakfast. Room was cozy and comfortable. With 24hrs reception, service was great! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are on a short and quick visit.

This hotel was clean and the staff were great. The breakfast buffet is great value especially if travelling with children who eat free if one adult pays. Room was large with good facilities.

We stay here every time we come to Peterborough to visit mt daughter. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good parking and next door to Paul Fry restaurant/Pub.

Not the greatest Premier Inn. Parking was ok. Room was clean, with comfy bed and hot shower. Wi-Fi was extremely poor, and kept cutting out. TV also kept going off with weak signal. Bit sure if this was because of my room location, which was right at the back. Restaurant was busy and couldn't fit me in.

I thought it was amazing as the service was good and the staff were very polite. The room was also very clean and Is only around £40! I'd really recommend it.

Everything is premier but the price! Being serious though, it's typical standard for them, the location is good and there is plenty of parking.

What you expect from a Premier Inn, clean tidy although no A/C (not that it mattered in December). Avoid the adjacent Table Table if at all possible though.

The staff were lovely but the hotel is a bit tired and the location is a bit run down, particularly the pub outside the hotel.

It's a nice hotel and all the only thing is I was kept awake by a car alarm a couple of times on previous visits.

The room was fine and the staff nice but toilet was small, shower fiddly and not very powerful. The bed was not that comfortable and the room was too hot.

Nice and quiet place. Moderately well kept up. Housekeeping is brilliant. It's well placed by shopping and food.

I stayed there the night before my mums funeral and the staff were exellent and breakfast was good.

Room was good size and in good condition. Great touch providing extra satches of tea/coffee/milk in the reception. Should be a feature in all premier inns. The only down side was that the thermostat seemed to be broken, so the room was very warm but they did provide a fan, which helped.

Problems with the restaurant in the morning and loud traffic at night.

Like many, I have a preconceived idea of what a Premier Inn is — budget. But having stayed there for the first time (in a long time, at least), my view has changed significantly. On arrival there were some obvious ways in which costs were being saved. Soap dispensers replaced complimentary toiletries, and breakfast was an additional £8.75. There was no proper wardrobe and the room was small (but comfortable). There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan included. However, I must say that Premier Inn really did their best to make it a good experience. Their 24-hour reception service was pointed out as I arrived, and it was clear that they had really made an effort to ensure a good night's sleep. There was a choice between firm and soft pillows in my room, and a sheet if I preferred that to my duvet — which I did. Everything was fairly new and clean, and while basic, they did those basics very well. The hotel is next to a fairly major road, but they say it's insulated against noise. Although I was on the non-road side, I did not hear any traffic at all, with the exception of something backing up nearby at 7am, briefly. I was rather impressed. The amount of light coming through the curtains was also minimal. I had heard a lot about the beds from the adverts and was rather eager to try them out, as I am a light sleeper and sometimes have trouble in hotels. The bed felt rather hard and I could feel the springs a bit.

A smaller Premier Inn round the back of the Paul Pry Inn (doesn't seem to be visible on the map, so probably constructed in the last 10 years). Nice clean rooms, helpful staff and you can eat breakfast and any other meals you want in the Paul Pry Inn. (You can make reservations in the hotel reception). One note, the Inn can get busy at unpredictable times. Best to make a reservation to avoid a wait. Alternatively, there are takeaways and supermarkets aplenty within a 5 minute walk.

I stay in premier inns all year round and this is ok. On arrival, they had contractors fitting new carpets in reception and Hall way and stairs, I'm sure usually they would close the hotel to do this as it's a bit of a struggle checking in and finding your room when there are men all over the floor lol It would of been nice to have an apology from the staff or maybe a notice on the wall apologising for the inconvenience. After a week of enjoying air conditioning in most premier inns, the lack of air conditioning in this hotel made for a more uncomfortable nights sleep. I few years ago I would of rated this hotel top notch, but now as new hotels are built with better ventilation I rate it as average. On a good note, the Wi-Fi signal in the room was way better than in some of the more 'luxurious' premier inns and I didn't have to spend half my time in the evening constantly trying to connect to Wi-Fi! Would I stay again? Not if there is another premier inn near by with the facilities I require.
