A really nice wedding venue, great for parties, had a really nice company summer party here. Beautiful garden and green spaces. Old and young entertained.

Amazing hotel. Booked for just one night as a stopover in my road trip, but the amenities were amazing, a bit off the city centre, which was the plan at that time, but with good value for money, and right in front of a park&ride, if someone would like to go by bus to the city. Definitely would recommend to others.

Rectory Farms is delightful! The location is close enough to Cambridge, but far enough away to be a peaceful retreat from the busy city center. Roger and Allison are great hosts who recommended a walk into Cambridge on a beautiful and well-marked path. They exceeded our expectations by turning rooms 7 & 8 into a private family suite to accommodate us and our children. The showers and the Wi-Fi are the best we’ve seen in England and the continental breakfast each morning was just what we needed before heading out for a day of wandering the city streets, exploring the Cambridge farmer’s market, and punting on the river Cam. We look forward to staying here next time our travels bring us to Cambridge. And P. S. Don’t miss the adult-size tree swing, a unique and playful addition to the beautiful grounds.

Great location, a couple minutes away from a park & ride into the city centre. Walls are very thin in the chalet so expect to hear your neighbours’ TVs and snoring if you’ve booked a chalet room. We had to request to be moved rooms after our first night, which was thankfully granted.

Very nice place to stay close to Cambridge University. It is about 15minutes walk to Cambridge nanoscience center. Good breakfast and aesthetics of the room is very pleasing.

Nice, clean and quiet place. Receptionist could be more polite, also we were promised a room with view of the valley but we didn't have that. I would recommend these place to a friend but not for something special.

Unfortunately wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend! The 2nd star I have given is only and only for the lovely grounds and the good feel we initially had. I say initially as our whole experience was ruined 6 hours after we left with an email saying they had charged us and extra £30 for “smell of smoke” in the room! That certainly came as a surprise as WE DID NOT smoke in the room! But I guess the staff knew we were smokers as they had seen us smoking outside and this was just an easy and sly way of making extra money! One would assume something like this would have been brought up after the room was cleaned on the first day and not 6 hours after the guests had left! This is a cheap and despicable way of making money after guests leave. I had booked this break for my husband’s birthday and now thanks to Rectory Farm our whole experience has been ruined!

Room was clean and nice. Staff were pleasant. Had to leave before breakfast was served.

Very disappointing. The star I gave it, is for the bathroom! Rectory Farm advertises itself as bed and breakfast. We booked it on that basis and then discovered, when we got there, that breakfast was extra at £10 a head (it was a decent breakfast as it happens). It also advertises that all rooms have views over the garden. We looked out on a building site and car park. The room was tiny and the double room had just one chair. We spoke with the owner/manager about the breakfast but he was singularly unhelpful and definitely unsympathetic. We have stayed in many hotels over the years and this one was certainly the worst. Not a good introduction to Cambridge and not helpful in relaxing before attending a funeral, our reason for the overnight stay.

Great wedding venue. We can here for a wedding in the summer 2017. The entire setup was great. Plenty of rooms for people who wanted to stay. Lovely large car park. There is an expansive lawn where everyone can sprawl out and play the lawn games. I can’t remember which they had because I had too much of a good time. There is also a little swimming pool. So if it’s a nice day bring your costume. The staff were also great. Best of all. It’s such a nice location all the wedding photos get done easily and quickly without needing to walk for ages to the nice spot. If I was getting married again I would certainly consider it.

Lovely location. Beautiful house. We was outside in the Chalet. Would have preferred the option to where we stayed as would have liked to stay in the house as the outside was more modern than country style. Nice none the less. Parking is £2 which I think is an unnessasary charge for the price of the stay & breakfast is continental & overpriced in my eyes at £10. Otherwise a nice place.

Gorgeous little hotel in a country house. The room was slightly small but had everything you could need for the night with an extremely nice bathroom and shower. Accessing on foot from the main road is slightly awkward as there is no footpath and you have to walk along the side of a busy road. Excellent, friendly staff. A pleasure to stay in.

Stayed for two nights at Rectory Farm and we really enjoyed our visit. On approach, the gates and straight drive between rows of trees make it feel special straight away. The chalet we stayed in was fantastic and very spacious. The staff we saw were great and very helpful, ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. Great price for the service being provided. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area again. Thank you to all at Rectory Farm :)

Wonderful place, very quiet, cozy, family friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel in a good location. However the room had a very low ceiling so I cracked my head a few times. Also beware the £2 a night charge for the car park and 2% Amex fee.

Lovely location and House, very dissatisfied with the Chalet style room, shoddy bedding, stained curtains, awful odour. Staff unprofessional and not very understanding, poor value for money. Wedding was most enjoyable, food excellent.

Bed was advertised as a king or super king size but ended up with 2 singles put together. Furniture looked quite ugly and damaged. TV was low quality. Being in the ground floor and at the side of the building our view was simply bushes despite being told it would be a meadow view. Room was very hot and had no windows, only patio style doors. Bathroom was very nicely laid out and spacious though. Staying at the Sunday night rate I couldn't really complain but had I paid the full amount I think I'd struggle to justify the costs, but to be fair I didn't make use of the pool or tennis court.

Great venue. Pity that we got rain on our event. Still had a great time indoors though.

The hotel is in a very nice house and grounds with a manor house feel. Staff were friendly and polite and Wi-Fi was excellent. However, rooms are a little dated and you had to pay extra for parking.

Went to the Rectory Farm for a social event. Lovely large grounds and a posh setting for the 200 or so of us guests. The food was good and the service was great. Staff were very accommodating of us and we had a great time there. Did not visit the rooms but would love to come back and stay. Full disclosure: feedback prompted by Google Opinion Rewards.

Easy to drive into Cambridge from here. Room was spacious and bed was enormous with lots of cushions. Shower was good (powerful and adjustable). Overall everything felt very luxurious for the price.

A pleasant hotel set in beautiful surroundings. Welcoming staff, clean and well kept rooms — not to mention a marvelous continental breakfast! A great place for an overnight stay, wedding function or weekend break.

Really small double room in the chalet with a very low ceiling and beam across the room. It had a "Mind you head" sign on it which is great but cannot be seen in the dark. Even my 5'6 partner struggled and I am 6 foot tall. We both banged our heads numerous times and smashed elbows on bedside cabinets that stick out way too far so neither of us felt relaxed at all. The room layout could be improved but sadly we won't be returning to see!

Lovely rooms, small but very cosy. Staff are very friendly and professional. I've heard the cooked breakfasts are great but they could only offer us a continental during our stay. Good location for walks and exploring Cambridge.

The wedding we attended at Rectory Farm was very lovely, the catering staff were very helpful and great with our dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free) and the set up in the marquee was fantastic. However, my Granddad is in a wheel chair and uses a walking frame for short distances, they had booked a room which was large enough for him to use the walker however it was given to another guest leaving them in a very small room. Also, the paths around the farm/venue are not very suitable for wheelchairs or walkers.

My husband and I booked a last minute room. We stayed in the barn conversion rooms. Amazing value for money. Set in beautiful surroundings and very close to the park and ride and Cambridge Vet school. The staff were very helpful and our room was perfect. Will visit again.

I had to do a business trip and my previous favorite hotel was all booked. What a luck I've got to Rectory Farm, so quiet place, everything clean and personal was so nice. I really loved the cooked breakfasts. P&R just a few minutes from the hotel. The room was nicely decorated and I've never slept in hotels so good as here. Definitely changing Hotel I'll be staying at my next trip to Cambridge.

We had a brilliant weekend at Rectory Farm. Booked in for a large group of friends and everyone had a great time. All the rooms were lovely, the staff are very friendly and the main house and gardens are beautiful. It is a very picturesque place to stay and a great choice for accommodation if you are coming to visit Cambridge.

How lucky we were to discover Rectory Farm. We needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights with easy access to the centre of Cambridge. We were very pleasantly surprised. A lovely house with ample parking, our room was spacious and the en suite clean (with hot, powerful shower). Very quiet and peaceful. We walked to the park and ride and were amazed at how close it was — we left Rectory Farm and within 15 minutes we were sitting on the bus on our way to Cambridge. We would certainly stay again and will tell all our friends too.

First visit; delightful accommodation owned by couple with real taste. The main house, including breakfast room and lounge, is exquisitively laid out and decorated. Our room in the chalet was on the small side but we were there only for 1 night; decoration of bedroom/bathroom of a high standard. Rectory Farm is adjacent to junction 13 of the M11 and so is only a short distance from the centre of Cambridge. There is a Park and Ride within 5 minutes walk, giving a 10 minute ride to the centre. With windows open, motorway noise can be heard but it is not oppressive.

Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. We was looking for somewhere for a weekend break and found this gem of a place. M11 is a stones throw away but you would never know it. Can highly recommend this place.

Lovely hotel. Quite out of the way but cab back to central cambridge is £7-£8 and/or there's a park-and-ride nearby.

A very short stay, late arrival and early departure catered for. Very accessible from the M11. Didn't use the external facilities, but the room was exceedingly clean and well appointed for the price with a 6ft wide bed! Bathroom had both bath and shower over the bath options, shower was very powerful. Highly recommended.

When we arrived, we were concerned that we might be disturbed by traffic noise from the nearby M11, but in fact the sound proofing was excellent, and the location, close to a park and ride, was ideal for a short sightseeing trip in Cambridge. The family apartment (suite) was very comfortable and well equipped — the shower especially was superb! The new annex is extremely well designed and the main house is beautiful. Breakfast was ample. We had only one minor complaint: our suite did have a musty smell when we arrived, probably as a result of our out of season visit, yet it was clearly impeccably clean.

I have only good things to say about this cozy, homely and very comfortable B&B. Located in a huge farm by the highway, I spent 2 nights at their family bungalow which comprised of king size beds in three huge and beautiful rooms, a large and homely sitting room equipped with television and a dining table, one large communal bathroom, and balcony area to enjoy a nice cup of tea in. There was free Wi-Fi service but did not work especially well in the bed rooms. The ambience was great with the country feel-good factor. Sheep and rabbits grazing and hopping about in their own world gave a nostalgic feeling. Cambridge town (and University) is just about 10-15 minutes drive away from the farm, which can also be covered in 45-50 minutes walk, so convenient enough. I am certainly going to return here with a big family.

Looked for a hotel which had character for a special weekend in early October and found this hotel on the internet. The photographs do not do justice to the actual experience, the long driveway and extensive gardens etc. We were given an upgrade to a suite and found this spacious and well kept. Roger the owner was most welcoming and informative. Whilst the hotel was near the M11 there was no noise from it and the park and ride was but a few hundred yards from the main gate. In all a wonderful stay at an outstanding hotel and we plan to go back in the spring so we can enjoy the gardens at that time.

What a lovely place to stay. We managed to get a very good last min deal, we needed somewhere quiet, comfortable and a short journey to London the next day. This place ticked all those boxes We felt the free Wi-Fi. Large TV, access to DVD's and two (yes two) pillows each, that didn't feel like a bag of air, were great extras. Thank you for the great nights sleep.
