Had an amazing lunch today. The special menu was inspired and varied. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.

Hadn’t been to the bull for a couple of decades. Pleased to see the changes. My wife and I both chose the mussels fries. They were probably the best mussels we’ve ever encountered. We’ll do chefs.

We had a lovely evening out and the service and meal were excellent. Staff are all lovely and had good banter with the lady who looked after us. Hope you managed to get those steps! 10 out of 10 from us.

We came last night for a family meal, I have got to say. Highly disappointed. the food, for what it is is majorly over priced. I had the pork and it was swimming in grease, as was my friends steaks. There wasn't alot on the plate, to be fair I would only pay £8 if that for mine, its wasn't good at all. All the meals were pitiful. the only good thing was the waitress who served us. wouldn't return.

I love it, it has a very cozy atmosphere and the girls at the bar are fantastic, very friendly.

Really enjoyed our food, slightly slow food service but good still arrived hot. Waitress was super friendly and attentive.

The best food around! Me and my family occasionally go for a nice meal as we know it will be delicious every time. And it doesn’t matter that we live like 25min away.
Because of the lockdown we ordered takeaway today! And the Sunday roast and duck leg is the best! most delicious dinner in a while.
My husband is ready to order every day from here.

Soup was 10/10. Main courses suffered a bit as Cumberland sausage hard and overcooked and some concerns that mussels in fish stew were closed shut. It looks very nice since the rebuild a few years ago. But the service was so slow. I’ll give it another go.

Ate here on 18/10/20 really disappointed that everything we tried to order was not available. It made it very awkward and embarrassing for the waitress and ourselves as everything we picked we got told no and were told it was because the new menu was launching today (19/10/20). Just seen that your new menu doesn't launch till tomorrow so what will you be serving customers today if you don't have any of the menu available? The food we did have was delicious I cannot fault that but we came here to celebrate our anniversary and not being able to order what we wanted was a real let down. I wouldn't have minded but we were not told that things were unavailable when we got seated and nor does it seem was anyone else as I could hear on other tables that people weren't happy about the limited menu. In future communication is key and you should tell people when they sit down what you have and haven't got.

The best roast dinner I've had while eating out for years! highly recommended.

Amazing food! Was honestly surprised at how good it was (pork belly starter is soooo delicious), great kids menu too, my little one enjoyed, only minor hiccup was service at times… not the restaurant fault as I think there is a training member of staff but it was difiicult to get attention and a few hiccups with order but overall lovely and would definitely go back!

Beautiful building and lovely attention to detail but the service really let it down. Very few staff and service was really slow. Lunchtime visit.

We just visited with my family (7 of us, my parents from Austria, our three kids, my husband and me).
Lovely food and great exceptional friendly service provided by all staff, especially Jo who served us.
Can highly recommend! Trendy, yet cosy interior and great quality food at a very good price — AND they accept the Blue Light Card!

Usually go here for a pint with mates and the drinks prices are normal for the area though I can only speak for the beers and not wines or spirits. The food was delicious although a bit on the pricey side for a burger. Staff are perfect and I've never had an issue with service. The toilets are always spotless too.

Ate early this evening — Friday. Lovely staff members. Quick service. Delicious food well worth its price. Chilly sitting under the air con at the kitchen end but it was switched off for quite a while when a diner commented. The heatwave had abated this evening :)

Stayed here recently for six nights and this is my summary Pros
— Excellent bar and service staff. The guy who seems to always be working at the bar was very eager to help and always had a smile on his face. The staff in the restaurant were equally as good with the waitress remembering my order each morning. I arrived early for breakfast on Saturday not realising that breakfast was available from 08:00 instead of 07:00 during the weekend and the very kind chef saw me and took my order. Excellent service from most of the frontline staff.
— Clean and nicely furnished rooms.
— Nice atmosphere. Cons
— Very stuffy in the room during hot summer days. No ventilation in the rooms — which could be easily solved by a fan. This was raised with the manager and other staff on several occasions but no fan materialised.

A great find, similar price to Prem Inn but a world apart. Recently refurbished so rooms are full of character and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant look terrific and food is well priced for good quality. Service is exceptional, all the staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. Located in the pretty village of Olney. Recommended.

Went for a family Sunday roast and was certainly not disappointed. Beef was really well cooked and vegetables and 'trimmings' we excellent. Service was very friendly and attentive without being over-bearing and our requests (horseradish & extra gravy) were answered promptly. One tiny negative was sending a wine glass back for some lipstick left behind (not in itself a major issue) and seeing the glad being hung back up for the next unsuspecting customer…

Called in for quick lunch and pint on Tuesday. Refurbishment looks good and the menu has a good selection for pub food i. E. Not trying to be something it’s not! Very pleasant staff and nicely presented tasty food. Will definitely go again!

Was good service in the bar and staff were friendly. New decor is nice and bright airy looking restaurant. Good outdoor seating area at the front and the back. Only down side I think or there part was turning down a snack. Order saying the restaurant was fully booked so could not do food for the bar area even if it was to be small snacks for us. At the time the restaurant was not even full only a few tables seated. All. In all night even place rooms are available upstairs which are lovely layout.

Good food and I noticed almost every table has a USB socket near the floor.

Not bad over all, but the staff, who are very friendly need a bit more training. We were left with dirty plates in front of us for ages (but plenty of time to clean the coffee machine and have a chat to colleagues). We eventually had to ask for the bill despite being finished for ages, then once the bill was produced, we had to ask for the card machine (after waiting a good 20 mins) to actually pay the bill. Good job we weren’t in a hurry.
Strange toilet situation. Probably needs a bit of explaining, especially to the older generation.
Saying that, nice meal, nice surroundings and a friendly atmosphere. Just seems a bit badly managed.

Fab welcome, lovely environment. It's was my daughters birthday and balloons were organised for her on arrival! Made the event extra special. Thank you! Food was also lovely. Booking the table online was easy.

Stayed for one night, very nice room's with comfy bed. Room's pretty chic and surprisingly large and spacious. Had a few beers and the fish pie for dinner. Very good value (only 3.75 for a pint). Staff very attentive and professional. Will be back soon.

Beautifully refurbished and has a very nice dining and open plan feel. Obviously there is room for improvement with service and the services provided — but that is general when a place first opens and they are very open to improvements. The toilets are situated upstairs, but there is a disabled toilet downstairs — when I asked about this, they said they are planning on altering this situation when they are established a little more. The bar is stocked with a great selection of beverages, the menus have options for most people. The prices are not cheap but I feel it is reasonable, for the service provided. I haven't used the hotel services but I have heard positive reviews and the prices are reasonable.

Just wanted to say thank you for my amaaaaazing dinner at The Bull last night, my fiancé treated me to a surprise dinner for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The burger was delicious and the pork belly was so tasty. The staff were so attentive and lovely, so thank you to everyone who obviously worked so hard on this special place! We will definitely be back! Will recommend to everyone!
