The apartments are very clean, spacious, well furnished and decorated and well worth the low prices. I used a third party website to book the apartment very last minute which provided very little detail, this was acknowledged by the company via email when I requested some more information and appears to have been rectified since. The customer service I received from a staff member on call out of office hours was nothing shy of outstanding, Sophie Keech went above and beyond to tailor to my specific needs at that time and made the whole experience and stay a very positive one indeed. I would highly recommend them indeed and Sophie Keech represented the company amazingly, and was certainly a contributing factor to me using City apartments again and again and recommending to friends and family!

I had such an amazing time here for my birthday so central to the shopping and train station as went to london. Customer service was on point def booking again.

I had a nightmare, I could not find the car park, I spent 45 min trying to locate the car park, I tried calling the number you provide for emergencies at 19.51hrs to no avail, my question at this point is why have a number that is not manned.
I find my apartment, to my horror the bathroom flooring was a scene out of a TV program, I then open up the toilet lid to find a black pubic hair, quite disgusted, I move into the living area and turn on one of the two TV, yes you guessed it the TV was not wired up to one of the two TV, so no TV.
Buy now I have had enough, I then try to connect to the Wi-Fi with the network and password provided, no network. I then called the number you provide for emergencies 10 times, still no answer.

I've stay twice. Apartments are nice but the customer service is atrocious. Emails repeatedly ignored, phone messages ignored. I even had a conversation with one of the staff who promised to provide me with some details to access the check in pack and he didn't. The problem is I could tell he had no interest in my request by hi very disinterested attitude on the phone. Very disappointed.

I recommend 100% for everyone family, couple or single. Apartment it was immaculately. Friendly staff.

We came back from a night out that my wife had booked for my Birthday to be told that only 1 person can stay in our room & only 1 person is allowed. Disgusted with your bouncers behaviours wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. Disgusting. This isn’t behaviour we should expect in 2020. Felt violated & wanted to drive home.

One of the best apartments in Milton Keynes. Stayed here multiple times (once a month). Accommodating staffs, close to the centre and bus/train stations. The room is spot on and spacious. Looking forward to stay again in a couple of weeks.

Customer service is terrible. The photos do not match the apartment you get. Also they state ten pounds a hour for late check out then send you a message after saying now it’s 20 per hour, horrible company.

These apartments are by far the most comfortable, modern and maintained accommodations we've stayed at during our holiday.
The staff are super helpful, organized and friendly, making for a first class experience.

Milton Keynes is a fun, trendy community with lots to do for people of all ages!
The location is perfectly located to take day trips all over England & fantastic for those who don't drive as there is an excellent transit system here.

Had a lovely night staying in the 3rd floor apartment, despite the heat we've had lately the sliding door opened fully and windows could be extended out, there was also a fan that kept me cool and it was actually pretty breezy. Even found a tray of ice cubes in the freezer! Which I used all of. Being in the hub I was expecting it to be noisy with the door and window wide open but it wasn't bad and it died down at about 11. I popped down to nandos for a cheeky takeaway and took it back to the room to eat. I could've gone to Sainsbury's and bought something to cook though if I wanted, was impressed there was an oven, microwave and lots of utensils. Power shower in the morning was awesome as well. Due to being away most of the day of my check-in I didn't arrive until about 8pm, as advised in an email my welcome pack and keys were waiting for me in the safe outside the office, was a very easy process of just turning up, everything was ready and I had instructions where to go. Got my own parking space in the private car park. Same thing in the morning, just dropped off the keys at the office and went straight to work (office was a 2 minute walk from the apartment building). Would definitely use again and recommend! So much easier than booking a hotel and was much nicer.

I had initially booked a room for myself and my 2 children (aged 3 and 15) however upon arriving we only had a double bed in the room. I called the emergency number (which is a paid after hours number) and they delivered a double blow up mattress that was far too big and filled half the sitting room. City Apartments then informs me via email that it would cost an additional £30 per night for the blow up mattress. When I made a complaint against this additional charge I was informed it was not their responsibility to to add the extra bed and I had to request it. It was also not clear what the check out process was — we looked in the welcome pack but no info was provided so we left it in the letterbox on the ground floor. The stove hobs did not work and the oven did not heat up very well.
Apart from that the apartment was clean and neutrally decorated. Very conveniently located and loads of choices to eat out right in the complex.

As a regular visitor to Milton Keynes I booked an apartment in the Hub for two nights. I have used other apartment providers but this was my first (and last) time with this one. The welcome started well, but given the hot weather I walked in to a South facing apartment on the 11th floor to find the curtains and blinds had been left open all day and it was literally like a greenhouse. I had a colleague with me and within minutes we both felt I’ll, it was stifling. We called the number provided to be told they were fully booked so couldn’t move me. Fair enough so when I explained the problem I was expecting some help, only to be told I’d be expected to pay for the room as it was 29 degrees outside and “it does state no air con” on the website. It doesn’t actually, it just doesn’t list it in the facilities. I spoke to their General Manager (name removed as requested) who was very rude and had no interest in coming to see for himself. As a result I paid for another room elsewhere. As an experiment I thought I’d close the curtains and blinds and open the window (one didn’t work). The weather was the same yet the following night it had cooled down sufficiently to stay there. My point is why didn’t they do that in the first place? Very, very poor customer service, no interest in helping the person, just wanted the money. Use them at your peril, there are much better providers in Milton Keynes.

One Word… Awful. Parking is difficult to get to with lots if baggage. Apartment is in a block with other who live there full term who don't appear to like the apartments being used as rentals. Furniture and white goods all very basic and beds uncomfortable. We stop in 30-50 hotels a year and this is by far the worse we have stayed in. Hot and stuffy. You cannot keep the windows open for all the noise outside!. Apartment is clean but only basic clean and the corridor stunk of curry and the stairs were baking hot. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone as they are simply overpriced for what they are when you could just use a local chain hotel which would more likely be cleaner, more convenient and quieter. This is like an unfriendly air B&B!

Nice apartments in the middle of bars restraunts. The only thing I found was soon as you got out of the lift the heat was uncomfortable. No fan to cool you in the apartment. A few repairs where needed but they fixed them quick. Several rips in the sofa. No cleaning in the 8 days I was there so there not really serviced.

Brilliant location and beautiful apartments.

Fantastic company to deal with, constantly updating your emails with information. No trouble finding everything, can't fault them. Price was reasonable, apartment was all you needed, well placed. Only one niggle and it's easy to criticize anything but was very hot not much air flow, could do with some sort of air conditioning. But above all GREAT. As well as the staff. Thanks.

Took us an hour to find the place and many of the people we asked said that they were always being asked where the City Apartments were. On the website it gives MK9 2FX as the address, this is only the address of the underground car park at the top end, over the road, of S Fifth St. The pedestrian access is on Witan Gate next to Las Iguanas. One of the residents said that taxis can ever find the place so tell them it is the lay bye at las Iguanas. We collected the pack with the keys and should have read the stuff inside but relied on the info from the website instead, big mistake. Anyway we eventually found the place with the huge help of a splendid security guy. The place was roasting after a very sunny day and no way to open the window in the sitting room as no key to the window. Otherwise the apartment was great.

I stayed here with my 2 year old daughter last week the bath for 4 days and the bath had no plug it was awful with children. Paid for an executive room and it wasn’t the best quality good for 1 night stays if you want to enjoy the hub always said it had tumble dryer but it didn’t no extra linen or towels in the rooms.

I recently stayed with City Apartments during a training trip to Milton Keynes. The apartment was very nice. Bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean and bright. There were enough supplies (dish soap, shampoo, bath soap etc. ) to get my stay off to a convenient start so when I arrived I didn’t need to be concerned with those. The appliances in the apartment were new and worked very well. There are a number of nice restaurants within an easy 5-minute walk of the building that I was in, including gourmet burgers, pizza, Thai, English fair and others. There is a grocery store about a block away. The apartment itself was very secure and I never once was concerned about my personal safety. In addition, walking in the area was very pleasant and convenient. I love to walk and although my new employer was 1.6 miles away, the walks, including underpasses for the busy streets and a lovely park for about half the walk, made the start of my day refreshing and provided a nice decompress after the training. Mid way in the walk is the train/bus station so if you arrive by train, the walk to the City Apartment office is not bad, though if you have bags, wheelies would make it much more pleasant. Finally, the staff was very helpful when I was arranging the apartment. Charlie answered my many questions during the days before travel. When I arrived, she was very pleasant to talk with and she reviewed the apartment and the surrounding area.

We’ve returned to MK for another 8 weeks, chose to stay at Vizion this time, with ShortStay MK. Being in the know, we requested an internal apartment which is overlook the internal hidden “Podium” Garden. Beautiful outlook, extremely quiet and peaceful. The apartments are all very similar, fully equipped with everything you would need incl Sky TV, fast Wi-Fi, secure parking, washing machine. They are clean and modern and the cleaners come weekly for free. ShortStay MK are excellent and respond instantly to any requests. During your stay you get special discounts at some of the surrounding restaurants incl 25% at Pizza Express. We have previously stayed at The Hub apartments — absolutely dire, and I wouldn’t recommend them.

Work sent us to MK for 10 weeks and we were placed into an apartment in The Hub through City Stay. We had an awful stay and end ended up terminating our rental with City Stay after 8 days; we ended up going with another rival company for the duration of our 10 weeks. The apartment we got was better quality, and 20% cheaper! During our stay we raised several issues but nothing was done to address these, and there was no show of empathy at all. The Hub is badly run down and poorly maintained; lifts are dirty and creaky and give you the feeling that you may get stuck, and had we been on a lower floor I would have used the stairs, although people are knows to be injecting drugs in the stairwells. The car park is also daggy and dark and badly maintained. The apartment had no extraction, not even in the bathrooms, walls were badly marked, the carpets need to be cleaned professionally, the oven seal was missing and thus unusable, the vertical blinds were missing some panels/ broken including the bedroom were you could not block out the street light. The washing machine was covered in mould. The sofas had marks on them and there was writing on the coffee table. The toilet seat was disgusting and needs to be replaced. Surely someone from City Stay comes and checks these places from time to time to pick up things that the cleaners miss? Poor management, and poor maintenance.

Farcical check in system please allow plenty of time, difficult to find, room very basic, £250 breakage deposit! Very poor experience, we had to book elsewhere.

Lovely apartment with beautiful views. Ideal location, just minutes from clubs, cinema, bowling, shopping centre & train station and the Sainsbury's in on your doorstep. Only downside is it isn't ideal for young children unless you watch them like a hawk or bring your own covers for sockets. Will definitely be staying again.

A big thank you to Lauren & Megan who absolutely made our weekend. The location was great and the accommodation was perfect for a family. Would definitely recommend and will be back. The customer service is outstanding.

Luxury apartments! All very stylish and spacious!

Arrived at the apartment found out that City Stay had changed our booking and provided us a totally different apartment in a new location — without actually communicating any last minute changes to the booking with us. On top of that we had no heating what so ever and the oven door wouldn't open as the kitchen cabinet was blocking it.
Not a very good start for a luxury apartment — when we tried to report the issues to the sales and service team they were not helpful at all. They do not know how to handle complaints, instead of trying to resolve the issue they tried to convince us that we couldn't operate the heating thermostat.
When questioned about the last minute change of apartment they said they prioritise guests who stay for longer periods (1-6months) and we were lucky to get a room. This was funny as we booked the apartment roughly a month in advance. Why are they false advertising apartments?
Long story short we were offered a £50 compensation… Again another poor effort from the business to rectify this mess.
I don't feel we were treated fairly — a £50 compensation is a joke, poor communication from the complaints handler — eventually went as high as the office manager who again was trying to sell the £50 compensation. What is the point of escalating to the office manager if they are offering the same discount as the first person? Wasted a lot of time and effort yet we are still not happy. Thank you City Stay.

Very good serviced apartments in the center of Milton Keynes. Great location, supermarket on the corner and plenty of restaurants just across the road. The apartments are very new, clean and have a fully equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi is included and works well. There is no hairdryer, so if you need one you should better bring your own. 24 hours concierge service for picking up the keys.

I am currently staying in Pearl house. To start with, its a double bed flat with just the overpriced costs! The flat has an undeniably slow internet, it took me over an hour to download 119mb file! 2. The bathrooms look glossy, but lacks basic primitive structure — toilet paper holder (the toilet roll was stuffed into radiator) 3. The intercom was not working, it was replaced then, but it keeps beeping for no reason (annoying sound). 4. The refrigerator had frosted itself completely. Its been more than a day I have informed it, still waiting for somebody to fix it. We are booked in this flat for next five months and it may be extended if my husband's project continues. But I am unsure if we want to stay here any further.

These are some of the best serviced apartments in Milton Keynes! I stayed in these serviced apartments before relocating to the area, they offered great facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, a very nice lounge and flat screen TV and most importantly… A comfy bed! I would definitely recommend!

I flew in from the United States on a business trip and stayed with City Stay for a total of three weeks. The apartment staff was very friendly and even helped me extend my stay on a short notice for another week. The apartments are well maintained, clean, quiet, and located in the hub. They are located right above/next to a grocery store, and walking distance to many restaurants, the train station, malls and gyms. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and I would absolutely stay there again.

I have been staying at the Vizion apartments for the last 2 years and have used a number of the agencies but have found City Stay to be by far the best and most professional. From dealing with my enquires to the standard of accommodation, they are always the company I would recommend and the first one I will contact. They provide friendly and efficient service with competitve pricing. For me their apartments provide a better quality of furnishings and facilities than their competitors, are always very clean and tidy and if you have any issues during your stay, they are always on hand to resolve quickly. I look forward to continuing to stay in Milton Keynes and using City Stay are my preferred company.
