Never stay in room 6! It should be an accessible room for people with special needs. It leads directly into a disgusting and filthy kind of ditch. No connection with phone or internet! One even cannot call for help! No shower but a bathtub? for wheelchair users?
Giving this "room" to guests is actually an insult! One could also be put in the broom closet. When intervening I got the answer I do not have any other options. I had booked in advance and arriving there we were firstly given a room in the 2nd floor. Some guy changed it reasoning evacuation would be a lot easier on the ground floor. Most interestingly we had spent 2 nites on 2nd floor in Crawley and had had no problem.
It was also very poorley cleaned.
From all TL we have used so far, far the worst.
Went for the Preston Park one as I thought it had better reviews. However overall it was a disappointing experience. It was full of contractors and possibly long term residents. You had to walk through clouds of smoke and guests standing in dressing gowns in the afternoon just to get through the front door. The smell of weed is also strong — not ideal when you’re staying with children. The camp bed in a family room is just not good enough for older children and the rooms were just not up to scratch, they smelled terrible. Overall extremely disappointing.

Was here on a stag do… that kind of explains what you may encounter if you stay here! We were one of several stag/hen groups.
The hotel managed to double book my room (it transpires it wasn't mine), with the actual guests arriving after we had gone out. They questioned the fact there was luggage in the room but were assured it must be others from their group… this potentially volatile situation became apparent at 6 am. When I awoke to find two strangers in my room! Fortunately, there were no fireworks… situation could've gotten worse still when one of the strangers questioned the issue at reception again and was given a key card to a room that apparently matched me and my brothers names… THIS TOO was not a room that had anything to do with us or them… AGAIN, fortune was at play as I thought better of entering it to find out, given it was 3 floors away from my group.
