Good bar. Amazing value. Good location. Car park opposite in addition to a Tesco and a hotel above. Ticks pretty much all the boxes. I couldn't rate this five star only as I wouldn't consider it a five star establishment although for what it offers and the value provided it is an easy five star.

Was lovley room and nice size. Clean and tidy would recommend to stay. They do rush when it comes to 10.35am. But am satisfied with the room quality t.

Popped in for a late bite to eat whilst in Bedford on business. Nice enough place and you know what to expect from a Wetherspoons… decent value food and a no frills service in a friendly pub environment. Waitress was quite attentive to be fair and checked in on my food a couple of times and even thanked me for the positive response when she asked me how my meal was. No doubt will visit again when back down here.

The Wetherspoons standard hotel with no frills. Nothing special, just Spoons downstairs. The garden terrace at the rear was attractive. Our first floor room was quiet but had no natural light. Just a fake window.

Prices are cheap and the food is reliably mediocre. Service is quick once you finally get someone at the bar to take your order. After that the food arrives quickly and it's hot. It's busy in here most of the time and very noisy. Not a good place for a quiet, intimate meal. Cheap and functional.

Good Wetherspoons. Fast service and a good range of drinks. The pizzas are very good. Cheap and cheerful.

The beer is well kept and choice very good with up to 10 real ales available. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable about the beer choices and polite. The food choice is good honest food with large portions for the price, definitely value for money.

Took my client who I am unable to leave there for a meal. I asked a member of staff for help and they were more than willing. Top marks.

Standard weatherspoons pricing. Recently renovated and much nicer than before. It was busy (sat evening) when we turned up but we ordered food and it came very quickly. Lots of staff bringing food and clearing tables very quickly. The barman poured us a regular Coke instead of a diet Coke, so he gave us the regular Coke free aswell as pouring us another diet coke.

Excellent place to eat cosy in the winter and beautiful with its sun terrace in the summer. Excellent food and service at brilliant prices. Beautifully refurbished with the added benefit now of being a hotel as well. Great menu choice and drinks choice of beers, wines and spirits and non alcoholic drinks. Along with excellent friendly, helpful service.

You can't fault the hotel part for value. Had a family room, clean and spacious. Staff efficient and friendly. Got food up to the room from the resto, they helped us bring it up (thanks Jamal), even had pints of real ale in the room which was a little surreal. Parking nearby. Will come here every time if I have the misfortune to be in Bedford again.

Had a drink at the bar and a bit of food, the menu was excellent for a weathers points, even had pizza, had a surprisingly good selection of ales on at the bar, only down side was it was quite busy due to the time of year and took a while to get served, can't blame them for that though really as everywhere is the same. Highly recommend if anyone wants a semi quite place for a drink.

Spacious clean restaurant to order food and drinks! Nice atmosphere! Friendly staff who asks if everything is ok! Hot food and generous portions! Quick service to our table. Recommended for a quite bite or a meal. Some Vegetarian options available.

Been there at weekend n week days as well but every time busy. Young, energetic n friendly staff. They need more choice at tap drinks.

Have to that we were very disappointed. When we arrived the room stank of cigarette smoke, we were told there were no other spare rooms. There were patches of plaster on the ceiling where the paint had fallen off and patches of hanging paint, waiting to fall off. One of the curtains was half hanging off. We had a very good night's sleep and the room was large and spacious. When you advertise as 4* then you really should have these problems sorted. We spoke to the receptionist in the morning about our misgivings only to be told the Manager wasn't at work untill 11am the following day. The Hotel as a whole is lovely, but just needs some better care.

It's a wetherspoons but a really good one! Food was delicious and really reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. I had Lamb shank and it was huge and fell off the bone. They cater well for Gluten free diets.

The best 'spoons place in Beds/Bucks region. I'll happily head to here if I have a 30min plus connection at Bedford, service is fast and good, selection is as you'd expect but it's an actually nice, big pub. Never had any issues here when I've been.

Clean rooms but it lacks a place to rest your suitcases if not on the ground.

Great large pub in the middle of Bedford. Recently renovated, tastefully done. Plenty of menu options — what you'd expect from a good Wetherspoons pub. Good food, good prices, friendly staff. Parking isn't great in Bedford (no fault of the pub). Recommended.

Travelled around Britain shop fitting. Always go in wethers. Booked a room at PP. Waiting staff first rate. Had a meal was supposed to be a sirloin steak. Not sure what came out. Couldn't eat it. Looking forward to checking in. First class fit out on this place. Who ever did the work I tip my cap to them. Well done.

Me and my partner went for breakfast here. The table was a booth, quite cosy. Food was cheap, 2 meals and 2 drinks for just over £14. Within 5 minutes it was at our table. The food was tasty and fresh and the staff were very friendly. I would definitly go back.

Went for a meal before a concert. Well located pub and the food was great! £25 for 4 meals and 3 drinks made for a great value night. Service was excellent and whole place was clean. Would definitely recommend for a fast and pleasant meal.

It's a Wetherspoons — large, accessible and with an outside seating area. The usual Wetherspoons value. Service is sometimes entertaining…

Good range of beers and affordable dependable food in nicely refurbished wetherspoons pub. Can get crowded and feel a bit seedy with all-day drinkers. Family section fills up fast.

On a hot summers day the patio and terrace at the back are a good place to soak up sun. Decent revamp of this 'Spons. Loos V good.

Same as the majority of Wetherspoon establishments — clean, good value and comfortable. Good people watching.

Large space, lots of tables. Good menu with a lot of choice. Was a bit slow being served.

Food is ok and the service is alright. Nothing special or great about it though. But it's a nice place, especially after it was refurbished. Nice place to go for a quick bite to eat.

Stayed for 4 nights in a comfortable room. Bedding was nice and clean. Coffee, Tea, Water provided along with little uht milk pots Sugar and water… all of which were replenished on a daily basis. Nice friendly staff. Good food and wide range of alcoholic beverages.

Clean tidy great basic pub food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Toilets are very clean With my disabled hat on I have to say that I have never been in a disabled toilet that has such state of the art appliances. A quadraplegic could happily use the facilities The only downside is having to ask for a key but as they must have spent thousands on it I can understand why it's kept locked WI'll be coming here again!

This Wetherspoon has recently had a major facelift and is now a much more enjoyable place to be (not that it was that bad before). Suffers a bit from where it's located, but otherwise is a good place to have a cheap meal/drink or even a coffee. Staff always seem nice.

I only really went into the pub quickly. The food looked really good and the staff (from 1St impression) seemed really friendly.

Best pub in Bedford by miles. Very friendly staff and on the ball. Food is at a good price and fresh. All the Beers and Ales are fresh off the pump. All the pipes are cleaned every few hours. Can't ask for more.

If you want tea or coffee please be prepared to wait alcohol takes priority also there are certain areas of the bar where you won't be served as an unfriendly bar staff told us before marching off.

One of the best curries I've had in spoons, great atmosphere and decor too. Was also nice seeing a Welsh man's artwork while on holiday in England, nice reminder of home.
