Just arrived in jersey for weekend break, both my wife and I enjoyed a lovely lunch here (13/8). Staff very friendly and food was good, quick service, Irma if I have her name correct was very helpful with some directions and even gave us a bus timetable. 😁

Lovely stay great room and comfy bed but poor cleaning of toilets in the function room and I was EXTREMELY dissapointed that in these times of supporting local business that your importing crap butter from ireland instead of using our amazing jersey butter with the breakfasts very dissapointed about that.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, lovely rooms with white company toiletries and bath robes — the food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff — will definitely return for our third visit — thanks for the free upgrade superb views from our suite.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BREAKFAST.! I visited yesterday with my two children and we LOVED our breakfast.! The food was fresh and delicious.! The poached eggs were perfectly presented, the toast was piping hot and the hash browns were a scrummy.! All the staff was polite, friendly and welcoming. Mohamed served us really went the extra mile with his customer service to ensure all our needs were met…! The location is great just by the port near Liberty Walk.! We are SUPER EXCITED to go back today for our breakfast.! The price point was very resonable.! Lots of Love & Abundant Appreciation Baker-Girl xx.

We go two times a year (for our birthdays) to the Fish night on Fridays. The food is always great and the staff are very accommodating.

Beautiful hotel in prime location with excellent, friendly staff. The Pomme D’Or Cafe Bar just off of the lobby is marvelous for coffee, drinks, or meals. Cafe Bar Manager Gabriel and staff member Florentina are incredibly kind and went out of their way to accommodate our vegan and vegetarian requests. We are enjoying a marvelous stay and hope we can return in the not so distant future. Meghan & Shannon.

Had a great stay here visiting from Ireland. Staff were lovely, food was amazing, and the beds I wanted to take with me. It is in a great location, walk right into town, right on the coast with beautiful walks viewing the yachts. Thanks to the hotel owner and Staff for all they did for the Power family.

Lovely friendly hotel, rooms very clean and spacious, Harbour room for breakfast and evening meal always a favourite, hotel close to town, bus station and marina.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, including at the sister hotel to this one — The Merton. The concierge there went above and beyond to get us back to the Pomme d'Or late in the evening. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Exciting hotel! I always stay in the other chain-branded hotel when travel to jersey. This time, all the hotels are in summer price, which is really really expensive. I “had to choose this hotel instead”. But, surprisingly, this hotel is way better! Nice staff, very good room spec! The only draw back is there’s no parking. If you are driving in this island, then you may still want to book into somewhere with parking lot, such as waterfront.

Hotel in the city center. Very comfortable rooms, well furnished and clean. Very good breakfast, with great choice of various foods. Very friendly staff. I recommend it.

The kitchen is very good and breakfast buffet plentiful. The beds are a bit too hard for me. Otherwise, everything fits. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the Hottel is very well located "centre near and close to the port". If someone should book a room to the courtyard I would like to point out that the air conditioners are mounted on the flat roof and that you can also hear them.

An absolutely recommended hotel; Very well maintained and an extremely dedicated and polite staff. Even the kitchen was very good (half board).

We have stayed in this very good hotel before but recently stayed elsewhere but still enjoy the bar/cafe for evening meals.

If you want a real English breakfast at the descent of the boat, this is the right address! Single at the ground floor cafe or full buffet on the floor.

Dreadful service in the 'Harbour Room' restaurant where a 'sumptuous' buffet was order of the day for evening meal offering. The food looked at those it had been there for hours, but worst of all was the Maitre D's attitude when I asked for a table by the window. I was informed that the only remaining table was reserved for a couple who were staying for a few weeks and it was their favourite. I could not have it. Tough, possession is nine tenths of the law, so I sat down and insisted on being served. I received knowing, dirty looks from the waiting staff, but all the time I was in the restaurant the long-staying couple did not appear, so what harm could have been done by letting me have their table for one evening?

Had to wait for room to be ready due to arrival of our flight from Manchester Landing at 11.30am and checking being 3.00pm, I don’t know why the ask you for your eta when you make the reservation and then the room isn’t ready.
Apart from check in everything was very good.

We ate in the adjoining Cafe bar which is part of the Pomme d'Or hotel. Very tasty prawn and avocado brioche roll and sweet chilli chicken wrap. With a couple of drinks came yo about £30. Classy place, so seemed about the right price. Quick polite service and nice surroundings. Very good.

The location is simply wow. Right at the center of many reaustraunts with good views. The rooms are cozy and good.

This review, isn't about the hotel… but rather, the small bar… The Wharf, which is attached to said hotel. Not the greatest selection of beers and certainly not the cheapest, but SUPER friendly and efficient staff… who certainly go the extra mile to ensure your visit is memorable. Does attract the usual suspects, who wouldn't be out of place in any city ghetto pub… but rest assured, you'll not feel threatened and likely be as welcomed by them, as those in your local. Certainly worth a visit. Recommended.

Sunday carvery lunch for 6, good range of starters, mains and deserts. Waiting staff fairly attentive, but slow to take drinks order. Food of fairly good standard, but 2 of the meats overcooked IMHO. Lamb was very good though.

First class place to stay visiting Jersey staff excellent nothing to much trouble and very helpful. Close to town centre and easy access to public transport.

Great friendliness of the staff who managed the impromptu arrival of a group of more than thirty tourists for an "English" breakfast.

We have visited Jersey a number of times now and both love it.
I have always looked at this hotel and wanted to stay here, but thought it was a bit out of my price range. I have to be honest. You get what you pay for. Obviously the location is great. But what makes this hotel fantastic are the staff, they cannot do enough for you, and the food is amazing. The Sunday carvery is beyond belief. … The bar areas are relaxed, the decor is inviting and the whole atmosphere is welcoming. I did book above the standard room, a small surprise and treat for my fiancée and we are both very pleased with the room. Plenty of space, great view, hot water, the list goes on. Very comfortable, very clean and very pleasing to the eye. Thank you Pomme D'Or, we will be back!

If you're ever in Jersey, I can thoroughly recommend the Pomme d'Or. This historic hotel in St Helier is ideally located adjacent to Liberation Square and the inner harbour, with the main shopping centre and the bus station only yards from the front door. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and supplied with all the traveller needs, and the food is superb. The staff are all unfailingly pleasant and helpful, and the cost very reasonable for a hotel of this quality.

Courteous and welcoming staff. Rooms exceptional cleaned very easy access to all amenities.

Excellent position in St Helier. Historical hotel. Best rooms right at the top overlooking the harbour front. Parking however is an issue.

We have stayed at the Pomme d'Or 5 times in as many years, it's like coming home for us now. Wonderful staff throughout the hotel, many thanks to Marco and Carlos in the Harbour Room for the welcome and for looking after us so well. Love the place! Nearly forgot to mention the food, fabulous!

Great stay at the Pomme. Perfect base in St Helier. Rooms kept lovely and clean. Great view over Liberation Square and harbour. Highly recommended.

Returned for a meal 53 years on from our honeymoon hotel. Buffet food very nice, dining room staff lovely, reception staff needs some people skill training. A bit pricey for buffet food. But nice all the same.

Lovely hotel. Great location. Fab breakfast buffet selection, comfy beds but marked down for slight outside noise disturbance at night (had windows open rather than sure Aircon on)

Lovely hotel close to the sea front — very helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Buffet dinner was superb. Would be nice to have more facilities (pool / gym) on site — 10 min walk to sister hotel where these are available.

This was our second visit to this lovely friendly hotel. Once again they didn't disappoint, the room very comfortable, the food excellent. I highly recommend the seafood buffet on Friday night's. The location is fabulous overlooking the harbour and marina and only a short walk into the town centre for some recreational shopping. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Rooms are lovely. In my dads room the safe didn't work but reception sent someone up to fix it and it didn't work still. Great to be partnered with the Merton for their swimming facilities — was a shame the walk was so long. The breakfasts are beautiful and there's something there for everyone.
