My wife and I met our friends for a cocktail at the bar to enjoy the sunset. There is a decent selection of wines by the glass, beers and mocktails. There signature cocktails were exceptional and potent (two was plenty). The service was super and the view was breathtaking. I would suggest arriving 1 hour before sunset for staking out seating near the edge, but even the areas more interior are great. There was live music from 5:00pm until 8:00pm that was not too loud and very enjoyable. It is a romantic spot that is worth stopping in for dinner and a drink.

My wife and I spent 5 fantastic nights here. The rooms and bedding were very lush, peaceful and relaxing. The level of detail the staff applies to the tiniest things made for an amazing experience (ex: they brought out iced water chillers and glasses on a table by our beach chairs for the day). The food was generally good: Our favourites were the poke sampler and tempura roll at the Serenity Pool, the truffled risotto at Ferraro's and the shaved ice with vanilla ice cream at the Beach Cafe. Probably the biggest miss at the resort was the presence of a great coffee bar. There wasn't a good coffee/latte anywhere in or near the resort (and we tried a lot of them). Overall a fantastic stay!

Great customer service and this resort is the best in keeping Maui beaches clean… just wish more tourists cared and picked up their plastic drink glasses and not use plastic straws… (Really hurtful to the Marine life! ) I work with Hwildlife Fund. I'm so impressed at the interior decor with all the beautiful orchids in the Breezeway it is so relaxing and tropical. I actually felt like just sitting around in the lobby area just to relax and take in the Maui breezes! It was an amazing tranquil feeling! Also the Holiday decor here is a must see! I could not take enough pictures of so many exotic orchids.

Dinner at Spago is incredible. Attentive wait staff, delicious food. The wine list varies daily, and they might run out before day's end — have a back up pick. Who knows, you might see someone famous while there!

My husband and I stayed here while we were on vacation staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. On top of everything. Beautiful views that overlooked the ocean. A nice restaurant where you can sit outside and watch the waves. The food is very good as well. If I ever come to Hawaii again I would definitely stay here in a heartbeat! There spa is amazing as well my husband and I renewed our vows on the beach and I went to the spa to have my hair and makeup done she did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them!

Excellent service from staff at lobby, pool side, and beach. Great attention to family with young kids. Most important is that they have an outstanding kids’ club program which makes it possible for parents to relax and to enjoy the massages, nice dinners, and resort amenities.

I had the time of my life. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They helped plan great excursions and dinners for me and my husband to celebrate our 25th anniversary. There is no other place I want to vacation but at the Grand Wailea. The pools, restaurant trees and great beach were amazing. I would live here if I could. Truly amazing! A must go and see. I will be going to the Grand Wailea again and again and again. The most magical place place on earth! Thank you for making our stay magical.

Beautiful resort. Very dedicated to customer service and ensuring visitors have an exceptional experience. Went above and beyond expectations. I’m particularly impressed that staff remembered our names at such a large resort and were incredibly friendly, more than willing to assist with anything we needed, even if it didn’t seem to be their job.

Beautiful resort with great staff and service. We came for brunch and had a great experience. As one can expect from a Four Seasons property, the buffet spread was delicious and pretty extensive. A made to order omelette/waffle/pancake station is included with the buffet. As an example of the attention to detail, there are 3 types of hot syrup available for waffles and pancakes. Both the coconut syrup and the Tahitian vanilla are worth trying. There are local tropical fruits available as well. Pineapple, papaya, watermelon, cantaloupe, and strawberries were on the menu today, but oftentimes, mango, rambutan, etc. Can be found. Definitely worth visiting this property.

This place is extremely exceptional! Such great service. Restaurant outside with ocean view amazing food. Loved the shops at this resort it was a great experience. Had my hair and makeup done by Linda and she did an extremely nice job.

Beautiful hotel with spectacular grounds. The staff are all wonderfully friendly (as is common in Maui). Pools are quite nice — — but the best part is that the pool areas are laid out in a way that you don't feel crowded, or even see a lot of people, even if the hotel and pool areas are full.

Absolutely a dream vacation! Went for a monumental family event and enjoyed every moment. We were treated to a room upgrade and special treats in the room. Romantic, beautiful and things for the whole family to do. Can't wait to go back again.

I was there for a meeting so was only in the lobby and meeting room area but it was a terrific experience. It was peaceful with lovely live music & flowing water & all of the area was arranged in tiers so as to have a lovely view of he beach. The meeting room held an even & comfortable temperature which was nice since most meeting rooms are cold and the bathroom attendants serviced the lady's room repeatedly throughout the evening. I've been there before and enjoyed the food and had great service in that same lobby where we were meeting at that time. I can't think of anything that wasn't just right … But then it IS a 4 Seasons!

Many new upgrades and modernizations when the most recent renovation was completed. This property was beautiful, but is now amazing. There are a couple pools around for different uses. They have a family pool area and they also have one for adults only. There are multiple restaurants and bars around the property. You are within about a mile walk of the Shops at Wailea. The conference center has beautiful ballrooms and meeting facilities. This definitely has the quality that Four Seasons has been known for.

Not my favorite Four Seasons. The location is tightly packed offering very few rooms with a true ocean view. Only two elevators to the towers makes most rooms a walk. The room staff was good. February was a good time to be in Hawaii.

This is the second time I'm coming to Maui, but it's the first time at the Four Seasons Resort. I'm here on a corporate incentive trip, staying 4 nights. Due to several flight delays I had to check in around 1.30 am, but that was no problem at all, there were 3 reception staff, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, nice room and the bathroom is very spacious with double sink, bath and separate shower. The bathroom is almost the same size as the room, and has radio with a couple of different genre stations to pick from. The terrace is nice sized as well. I had dinner at one of the restaurants at the hotel, Spago, and it was truly delicious, and the waiting staff very knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel has a nice pool, and beach below. For joggers or just for people who like to walk around and have nice views, there is a boardwalk trail that passes the hotel, so you can go a little bit north until you get to another beach, or you can go south, which goes further I think, a bit higher up cliffs. I really like the resort so far, definitely recommend it.

The resort is luxurious, beautiful and clean. It is what you would expect from an upscale hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The view from the serenity pool (adult only pool) is gorgeous since it overlooks the Wailea ocean. I would definitely return to the Four Seasons on my next trip to Maui.

Amazing experience! The tennis lessons made the experience even better. Look for Darin, he's the best tennis teacher on Maui. He has a different method and he certainly loves what he does. Great with kids and adults alike. I recommend it and for sure I will be back to take classes with him!

The lounge is amazing. Fantastic music. Incredible views. Great service. Compelling art everywhere. Beautiful architecture. Expensive, but easy to enjoy just in the lounge for the price of a drink or appetizer. One of our favorite places to visit.

Great honeymoon resort in Maui! We splurged a few days at the Four Seasons and had an incredible experience! Check-in was easy and the room was very clean. We enjoyed visiting the beach and serenity (adult only) pool every day. The staff will help you with chairs/towels at both locations. There is a great walking path along the beach we walked in the mornings to grab coffee/breakfast (the Shops at Waliea — you can also grab beer/booze here! ). We also enjoyed a couples massage and dinner at Duo for steaks. Drinks/food was pricey, but everything was over the top.

Went to spa for massage appointment. Very nice facility at spa. Great massage from David. The hotel at least from the lobby, was beautiful. Wonderful view from lobby of the ocean.

Impeccable service and facilities. Staff will eagerly arrange a chair and umbrella on the beach for you, or a chair or cabana at the pool, for no charge. Food and drinks are pretty pricey, but that is to be expected at a resort of this caliber. The view from the Serenity Pool is to die for!

As good as it gets! Open tropical design and very luxurious. Wonderful location, large and well furnished rooms with impressive bathrooms. Spic and span. Excellent but pricey restaurants. Experienced and attentive staff. Hard to find anything better in a hotel. Expensive but so are most of the finer things in life.

Very nice resort. This is our first time staying at a luxury hotel and we were a little surprised by the cost of everything. Now that we've had this experience we know to expect drinks to be $20, and food to be $40 or $50 a meal. The staff have been very friendly and accommodating, overall it's been a very good experience.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The ocean was very nice, and the service and treatment was one of a kind. Would recommend to anyone.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this resort! I've seen many beautiful 5-star resorts in my life, and I was still blown away by this property. The most beautiful views from our room — we were upgraded to a suite with a huge balcony! Gorgeous property with private cabanas for all guests. An infinity pool (Serenity Pool) that might be the most beautiful view I've ever seen — my pictures look like they could be post cards! The service was top-notch — they went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. We got couples massages, and were impressed by the spa. There are three restaurants within the resort, but our favorite was Spago. SPAGO! We were so happy at this resort that we almost canceled the rest of our trip to the Big Island to stay at the Four Seasons! I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone traveling to Maui. It's also in a great location! We give this resort the highest recommendation!

The most beautiful and exquisite property in Maui. Service beyond compare. Features personalized to your needs. I've come back 9 times and the feeling is like the first.

Room was clean. Staff very pleasant. Restaurants food was not good. The walking trail by ocean was nice. the cabanas were $500 per day. We were declined one day. I went back at 8am to reserve and told they were completely booked. "but u just opened now! " why did the staff not suggest I book for another day!?!? I was never provided with that option. : (he could have and should have asked: how long will u be staying with us? or maybe they should limit reservations so other guests have opportunity to reserve.

I have dined several times at their outside restaurant and their food and services were top notch. I also have used their small outside shop outside the beach and off the beach path. It is a lifesaver on those hot days.

This is the best resort on the island. They treat you like royalty. They attend to every little detail and the service is amazing. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Stopped in for a quick meal while staying at the Grand Wailea next door. First time they said it would be a 40 minute wait because the guests staying at the hotel had priority, but we saw several empty tables. We went elsewhere and tried again the next day. Got seated right away, but the food was mediocre. Meals are precious when you're here on vacation, and with so many other really fabulous restaurants in walking distance, I don't think I'll be eating at their beachside restaurant again.

Excellent hotel — best choice on Maui. Gorgeous ocean front room, plenty of cabanas to enjoy, great dining options. And — the best hotel staff you can find… Incredible attitude, even for a 5 star place. Will definitely come back.

Unbelievable! Fabulous service. Gorgeous property. Lots of amenities at no extra charge. Staff seem to genuinely care and are empowered to make your stay special for you. Restaurants were great (DUO & Spago). Nice location and beautiful beach. A great place to splurge for a night (or more).

We had dinner reservations at Duo. My husband and I and sister in law and brother in law. We sat on the patio, the weather was calm, just right. The lighting was soft. The service was impeccable and the food was the best we've had in a very long time. The salad bar was small but it was still good. There is also a charturie bar which I've never seen before (meat and cheese). We had valet parking which was nice. The price was expensive but not really outrageous. It was an A+ experience.

This is the perfect place for our honeymoon. We just finished a private scuba session and we could hear the humbacks singing during our dive. It was the best dive of my life and all we had to do was walk into the water from the Four Seasons beach. We had originally been at Grand Wailea, but left after the worst service and experience ever! Everywhere here is less crowded and the service is great. Here they have 800 employees to help accommodate 300 rooms, versus the 800 employees per 800 rooms nextdoor. We never want to leave.

Luxurious lotions. Stunning ocean views. Infinity pool and kids pools. It's hard to go home.

The hotel amenities (especially the adult pool) are beautiful and the views from the lobby and pools are spectacular. Our room was large, quiet and spacious. My major complaint is that the food is just not very good at this resort, especially for the price. The service was usually polite but not as good as I have experienced at other resorts at similar price points. I am also not sure how I feel about having to wake up before 6:30 to wait in line for the best beach/pool chairs. However, it is nice that it is impossible for someone to have booked up all of the best chairs in advance and that you do not have to pay extra for beach/pool chairs. This policy is just something to keep in mind, especially if you are a late riser on vacation! All-in-all a good experience and I would likely stay here again.

Wonderful resort. Great for families and kids. The adult's only pool is a real treat. I do find the place to be a little too busy for my liking. Worth a quick stay over.

Service is unbelievable the people at the four seasons think of absolutely everything down to the smallest details. The hotel is breathtaking and the views are absolutely amazing highly recommend this hotel.

So my wife and I enjoyed the Four Seasons in general (although it is a bit of an older crowd), but it was our last experience that soured me on our stay. During our stay at the Four Seasons, my wife and I used the spa on three separate occasions. The first day my wife received a facial, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The second day my wife and I received a couples oceanside massage, which we loved so much that we booked another couples oceanside massage for our last day. Unfortunately, the massage we received our last day was completely unrelaxing, stressful, and, frankly, not worth the money. Our massage was performed in a oceanside hut that has an entire row of general seating lounge chairs next to it. As a result, instead of hearing the ocean waves and seagulls, we had to listen to a loud lady for the first thirty minutes. It was only after I asked the therapists if they were going to do anything that one of them went outside and asked the lady to lower her voice. Then, after that lady left, another couple and their baby apparently sat in the same seats. So then we had to listen to a crying baby for the final 15 minutes of the massage. It is absolutely astonishing that the Four Seasons (of all resorts) places oceanside massage huts next to a general seating area. People don't pay luxury prices so that they can listen to loud tourists and screaming babies while on vacation.

I have stayed here with my wife and family for vacation and a another time was for a weeding. Also I have treated My wife and I Stayed here for our anniversary too. AMAZING resort From the moment You arrived. The lobby and public areas are spectacular. The rooms are fabulous. The food is yummy. The beach area was our favorite spot. We were greeted with a bottle of ice cold water when we returned from our bicycle trip. We love the Four Seasons. Four Seasons Wailea made up for it in so many ways! Not only did we receive a very unexpected upgrade (! ), Everyone on the resort grounds were friendly, pleasant and all around wonderful. We Love the Superb service (we felt like royalty staying here), excellent food, one of the most spectacular and private beaches we've ever seen, and large standard rooms. Overall though, a very special stay. The hotel even keeps the kids busy while the adults have there time to themselves. The kids can enjoy the arcade with plenty of games and they have an Xbox. This hotel has an awesome open lobby, private cars, several pools and world class service. Things, like the gym and made us feel very comfortable. The bathrooms had a function where you can play Hawaiian music. My personal favorite was the free ginger-mint lemonade every afternoon in the lobby. It was just wonderful and I loved my time here.

Nice resort, staff is almost too friendly. Well sitting in my room for a day, the staff has rung our doorbell about 50 times and called multiple times. It's to the point where it just get's annoying.

We've had an amazing time at the Four Seasons Wailea. The staff is so personal and available. The rooms are amazing. You could fit 20 people in our bathroom alone. A very amazing and "worth it" resort that you have to stay here at to really understand. 5 stars easy.

AMAZING resort and people! We were on our babymoon and had to cut our trip short due to work obligations, but the Four Seasons Wailea made up for it in so many ways! Not only did we receive a very unexpected upgrade (! ), but they sent us sparking cider/rose/20% gift certificate to their unbelievable spa, and an amazing body pillow (for those mothers out there, you know how wonderful these are to sleep with). Everyone on the resort grounds were friendly, pleasant and all around wonderful. We will certainly be back ASAP.

The hotel itself is amazing service so sweet and nice caring people good food great dining options and the best part if you have children is that they do have a five star KIDS CLUB! yes and if you go during spring break they have night things were you just drop you kid off and go eat dinner somewhere in the resort. Most amazing Hawaii experience ever I would make reservations again.

Superb service (we felt like royalty staying here), excellent food, one of the most spectacular and private beaches we've ever seen, and large standard rooms. Kids for All Seasons was included in the price which made this resort that much more competitive than other local offerings. The only down side is that the restaurants seemed extraordinarily pricey. The resort would have earned more from us had it had more reasonably price food; we would have eaten at the resort more often had that been the case. Overall though, a very special stay.

We have stayed here many times. My husband won't stay anywhere else. It is paradise. Ferraro's Restaurant on the beach is perfect. It is just the right size hotel with fabulous shops.

This hotel is the most beautiful hotel in Maui. The amenities are incredible and what one would expect of a four seasons. We especially enjoyed the adults only infinity pool. The hotel is expensive, but well worth the cost. If you are going to complain about the cost of a pina colada, you have no business staying here. It is a five star experience, with a five star price tag, but for the discerning traveler who expects a beautifully maintained property with phenomenal service, this hotel is worth every penny.

I don't know what that other reviewer is saying, this is the best Four Seasons ever! Upon arrival, I was catered to my every need. Special thanks to Amante for making us feel so happy. This hotel has an awesome open lobby, private cars, several pools and world class service. Things, like the gym and arcade with Xboxes made us feel very comfortable. This isn't the best Four Seasons, and the recent addition of the Andaz down the road means it will have to up its game. The pool area is dominated by families, though those wishing for an adult beverage have several outdoor bars and restaurants at which to escape. The grounds are manicured and the indoor lobby area is expansive. You can also check out the good at nearby shops displayed throughout the lobby.
