Generally I had a great stay. Cleanliness is acceptable. Staffs here are very nice and friendly. It is located in the industrial area so there isn't much around, but the drive to downtown is very quick as long as you don't hit the rush hours.

Not too happy with my one night stay. Cleanliness was a slight issue. As someone who's worked in hospitality before, I know what to look for. Bathroom was nicely remolded, but not necessarily clean. Everything was also a giant wrinkle: shower curtain, bedding. I have no clue and probably don't want to know, what the huge white stain was all over the black chair. The TV didn't work for the first 1.5 hrs I was in my room. Couldn't get ahold of the front desk and had to walk down. Breakfast was at 630 and it was out of coffee at 635. I was supposed to stay there for 5 days next week. I cancelled that.

24 hour salt water pool! Clean, spacious rooms and a fabulous breakfast. The only downside is the hotel is right in the middle of the industrial area, so it's pretty noisy on weekdays. There is no restaraunts or bars or shopping within walking distance. There is a little deli across the parking lot. I didn't check it out, so I can't tell you if it's worth checking out or not.

Was very clean and staff was pleasant. Breakfast is included and looked plentiful, didn't eat there because we weren't awake! Woke up to a room that smelt like fresh waffles, if only every morning could start that way. Only downside is its not very close to downtown. Industrial area, not a lot of food choices. They do have snacks for purchase in the lobby and a little drug store across the parking lot. All in all I would stay here again.

So far I have stayed in two separate rooms and both have been pretty sub par. The largest problem is that there is a half an inch space on between the wall and where the ac unit is installed with makes keeping the room heated a nightmare. On top of that the Internet I had for the first couple of nights was horrible. On average I had maybe a 5mbps download speed, maybe that was the "high speed Internet" that I saw them advertise everywhere.

I made a reservation about 4 days in advance, and I wanted the same thing as I had in January, a double x double for 2 persons. When We arrived on 3/18/2018 they did not have and double bed rooms left and so they were unable to accommodate us. They called around and did not find any other rooms available. I left and went to 306b exit on highway 5 and stayed at Country inn & suites, with plenty of rooms and a better breakfast. 6 days is my reservation.

First of all my husband and I are truck drivers, so parking is always an issue for us. We stayed here as there are 4 spots available for large vehicles. Problem is that it appears there is a trucking company using these spots to park their trucks and trailers as well as various bobtail trucks. There is also a couple of wrecked cars on their lot as well. This is a really nice hotel, very clean with a great staff always willing to help or correct issues. But, I don’t think using the parking lot as a salvage yard and trucking company is acceptable to paying customers. We were able to get the staff to contact the owner of all these trucks to move one to a smaller spot, but we had to wait on the street for 4 hours to get this done. With this said, I definitely would stay here again!

The location it pretty good, there's a subway right across the parking lot and a Mc Donalds just down the road. The room I was in was good. The bed was huge, but for a second bed it was a hide abed and the Internet connection was shoddy at best. A four hundred ping made online play impossible and videos buffered occasionally. The service however was excellent. Room service was very kind and the people running the breakfast room were on top of keeping the coffee and food topped off.

This place is a nice quiet place to stay for a weekend. It’s updated and clean, and has a nice small breakfast service that comes with the price of the room. There’s even a 24hr hot tub and pool. The bad part of this review and why I give it 3 stars out 5 is because the parking is always an issue here, and my friend and I who come here for weekend get always can never use the pool because it’s always full with families and kids. This is the second time we’ve come here and have not been able to use the facilities that we wanted to use the most. This isn’t the fault of the hotel staff or the management per-say, but given the location of the hotel, it doesn’t make sense that it’s this busy all the time on a weekend with no holidays, following a work week. Overall this isn’t a bad hotel to stay at and I’d recommend it, but the next time we come here we hope we can use the pool and hot tub because that was the main reason we decided to come here. Pros: quiet, clean, updated rooms and many amenities including a pool hot tub. Cons: far out in the industrial area, lack of adequate parking, always seems busy with families and kids. Not good for single adults looking for a quiet get away.

Remodeling happening. Great front desk service. They were very nice. Breakfast goes fast in the morning so come early. Not much to do in the immediate area but lots to do in a 10 or 15 min drive.

Clean room, friendly staff. Hot breakfast is a plus with quite a few choices. 24 hour pool and hottub too! I will stay here again given the opportunity.

The location is oddly placed but kind of nice to be secluded from the crowded downtown area. Only one staff member said hello the entire weekend I was there. The room was nice and had a good size fridge and microwave.

Surprise! Doesn't look like much from the outside and the area but, when I walked in, I was relieved. Nice lobby, pool access 24 hrs, good breakfast selection. Rooms were nice too. Microwave, refrigerator and free Wi-Fi. The only thing I had an issue with was house keeping. They need to do a better job. Would've gotten 5 stars but the house keeping was what ding them.

Marvin and his crew keep the place impeccable. Quiet and clean, dog friendly with a dog run and a spectacular view of lush Forest Park firs. 24 hr pool and Jacuzzi with sunbathing deck and grassy area. Love it. Best bed anywhere.

Hotel was pretty nice. Bed was comfy, rooms were clean and tidy without defects in the paint and walls like you'd find in cheaper hotels/motels. Shower was very nice too. Didn't get to use the pool though, and woke up too late for the breakfast!

Great place for Northwest quadrant neighborhoods. Rooms are clean, comfortable and contemporary. Staff is friendly. Warm cookies in the lobby. Always good to know pets are welcome.

It may have helped that the place we stayed at the night before was mediocre, but I thought that this hotel was quite nice. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast buffet was on the good side of standard (tho the coffee was awful). There were multiple TV channels for kids which is super helpful when staying with small children; for whatever reason, most hotels we've stayed at in Portland have had zero channels for children. The channel selection in general was great, but my husband and I weren't interested in watching anything. It is in an industrial part of town which anyone can tell by looking at a map, however it also borders Forest Park which was why we chose it and that is always worth a visit. Lovely market area with coffee and food options between the hotel and the park, too. I saw a review say that it was just for truckers & I'd have to disagree. If you want to stay in town, stay closer to town, but it was perfect for us.

Clean, quiet place to stay in an industrial area, yet close to the trendy NW 23rd area of Portland. Also excellent if you have business or appointments at Legacy Good Samaritan that require overnight stays. The breakfast fare is good with a large selection to choose from. Also loved the in room Keurig coffee maker. My husband is insisting we get one for home.

The customer service is first.

Had a great stay. Dog friendly hotel with a hot breakfast, what's not to like. The staff was very friendly and professional. We will be back next time we go to Portland.

Exactly what you'd expect from a chain location only this place has 24 hour hot tub. Close to downtown so take an uber or lyft for 7 min and you're there.

Room was clean, staff was nice. Breakfast was ok, but not bad at all for being free. Location is in an industrial area that backs up into the woods, which was nice because it made it quiet.

Very nice stay, clean rooms and great staff. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi were amazing and the breakfast was delicious. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D.

Not very pleased with our stay at La Quinta. For some reason our room did not get cleaned or stocked. When we first arrived things were under stocked (only one tissue left in the box? ) So we requested four towels and they brought three. Furniture is worn, overall the room looked old. Breakfast was underwhelming… Limited items. Just not very impressed.

Although the rooms are very well kept and the front desk lady was super sweet there are some down falls to this hotel there's no maintenance person on call or maid service here in the evening so when I used the washer and dryer my clothes was fast but it's now been over 3 hours and they are still not dry I asked if I could use the dry they use to clean the bedding but there's no maid service so that was a no and when the front desk lady called her manager she said there was nothing they can do until the morning so I didn't get to use the pool or have dry clothes for bed or the next morning I would have been even more happy if they just offered for me to take my wet clothes to a laundry mat but nope I had to wait until the morning for someone to fix the dryer… those two things are the worst… two stars the location sucks…

It's a pretty nice hotel but they were short staffed at the time which left us with one dirty room.

Overall good. Less desirable section of town but nice amenities.

When we arrived a male employee at the front desk was rude, not only as we arrived but throughout our stay. I called him to tell him we needed more towels and he juat said "wait till housekeeping comes around " really? The hot tub was disgusting we could not lean back to relax with out getting green slimey stuff on our skin! I won't be staying there again.

Comfy beds, 24 hour pool and hot tub, and they allow dogs. Great for us!

Place was really clean and close to an industrial part of Portland which made it Low-key. Overall I enjoyed the stay at La Quinta.

The pool area is nice. But way to much chlorine.

The room was close to the breakfast room, and was fairly loud. Also the rooms were fairly cold. The service was good, friendly staff.

Very good service and the rooms very clean.
