Great hospitality friendly staff.

Booked a room through a 3rd party vendor who failed to mention the restrictions of certain rooms at this hotel. I happened to go on the direct site and noticed the restriction and called. They weren't able to send me a canceled email confirmation and when I told them about it not stating the restrictions on the other site, was told it wasn't their problem. I will never go to a Red Lion after the poor customer service I received.

Bathroom is nice, they are pet friendly, helpful staff.

Good value, spacious rooms, and decent breakfast. Location works well for easy hwy access.

The lobby was small but spotless but I have a hard time being told that they have no set rates for their rooms I was told by the clerk that the rooms had different rates on different days that on Monday or Tuesday a room with a king-sized bed would go for $124.00 + tax and two queen bedroom would be $134.00 + tax. Then on Friday, the same king size bed would cost $229.00 + tax and on Friday the same two queen beds room would cost me $219.00 +tax. The clerk said it just depended on what day it was as to how much the rooms would cost. The Red Lion Inn & Suites have a pool and a free continental breakfast. If you want to stay there and pay cheaper rates the best time is during the week when the rooms are cheaper.

Good clean comfortable rooms. Dog friendly. People at front desk were very friendly. Breakfast was standard fare hotel breakfast and we we're happy to have it.

Sorry to say but wish I could give 1/2 to zero stars. We have 2 dogs and their dog room was awful, first it had laminate very very slick flooring the worst flooring to provide for dogs. Both our dogs struggled to keep their footing. Our Border Collie slipped and fell out Husky mix lost her footing and splayed out her back legs creating a soft tissue injury. We had to put blankets down on the floor just to provide some type of non-slip surface. We've stayed in many dog friendly hotels and this was a first with a horrible floor like this. The night desk attendant barely looked up from her cellphone to acknowledge us and went right back to her phone when she completed our check-in.

This inn is extremely clean and well maintained. Having an indoor pool is nice and breakfast was great!

Red Lion Inn & Suites was an excellent choice for us staying overnight and visiting the Evergreen Aviation Museum. The location is great, close to some stores and right next to the municipal airport. The staff was friendly and helpful with much needed information on the local area. Our room was clean and in great condition. No problems were experienced in our stay.

Kept up really nice for an older hotel. Has a decent breakfast for the mornings and a nice indoor pool also. Workers at the front desk are very nice and very helpful. Hotel is a great location for doing things. It's close to the Evergreen air museum, one to. The highway of you are trying to go to the coast, and is close to a beautiful downtown area.

We had a great time here! We came to go to the museum and the water park and our room was ready early and they let us check in which was great since our kids are small. The kids loved the pool and breakfast had a huge assortment. The kids loved the big TVs and I really liked the bathroom toiletries, haha.

Nice motel with friendly helpful staff. Wished the key cards were more reliable. One gave out about halfway thru oor overnight stay. Thankfully there was two of us.

The place was fine, the food was good but the people were the best part. Very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

Had a very nice stay last night, the staff was very cordial, professional and helpful. Our check was very fast, our room was very clean along with the rest if the hotel. Thank you for a good nights rest and experience!

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly. The location is great for access to the area's recreational activities, particularly the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. Rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is pretty standard fare. All in all, this is a great place for families and those who don't need anything fancy.

I enjoyed my stay in my room, but I received the worst experience with the staff. I came in to check in the front desk clerk assumed I was under age and I found it rude to talk to a customer in unmannered tone, later when I checked out that week. I had accidently left my daughter's iPad in my hotel room, trying to call the hotel back, and being on hold for 30 mins a different staff member had picked up, I had told her my issue on a missing iPad and if it had been found. She put me on hold for another 5 minutes. Patiently waiting for an answer, she had told me that no one had took it and that its been cleaned already, I asked her to double check my room again to see if it had been left on the bed or underneath it, and she assumingly said I was lying, I double checked my bags, no luck finding it, I called back to assure it was missing. She had picked up again. And I had told her I called back to reassure that I did not have it. She later said that they had found it. I returned back to the hotel to get my iPad upon arrival I received a bill for "damaging" and staining their linens. I'm sorry but that's bullcrap, if I knew you guys were going to over charge me let your customer know before checking in! Because of this I don't think I will return, staff is disappointing! Staff is rude to assume alot of things about their customer! which I hope anyone else doesn't have to go through the same thing.

Staying here for work. The place is probably only 1/4 full. Asked for a room off of the first floor and was told that even though there was a ton of vacancy, it would cost an additional $10 per night. My room was clean, but a bit dated. Killed an ant in the bathroom And dealt with an errant spider web. Staff was pleasant enough and the location is 5 minutes from the restaurants and stores downtown.

Great room. Continental Breakfast was minimal. Almost no fruit. Or milk free food.

Definitely had an older hotel feel (and smell). Seemed clean enough, but the room's age was definitely showing.

Great stay, had fun with the family in the pool. One thing I would change is the cold walk from the pool to the front desk to get towels as they keep them there rather than in the pool and if there was notice to reflect that it was missed so others could miss it too.

Good value. Didn't use the pool amenaties, but the breakfasts were much better than I'm used to.

Came here for a convention. Staff was very accommodating. The free breakfast is very good, lots to choose from.

Staff was great. Room was large, quiet and clean. About a quarter mile to Evergreen Aviation Museum and mile from downtown. Would definitely recommend.

There's there's something really special about the staff here, the rooms are spotless, the pool and spa works fine. The pool room was a little warm but they aired it out for me. Parking was easy and the town has character. The flat screen TV is nice. The amenities were ample. This was during Fire season in this mail did not get into the rooms. The air conditioner Works nice. They even have a safe in the rooms. The only thing lacking was the breakfast and that was pretty good but I didn't really like the fact that the bananas were all soft. I did make a nice waffle and have some hash browns and good sausage though. They're strict on the 10am breakfast end and there's really nothing but ice water Coffee and Tea no juice for the girls all day long and no water supply. They do sell bottled water at the front but I would recommend you bring full pack of bottled water.

Enjoyed our stay, super close to the water park and McDonald which was convenient. The family suite was perfect size for us. Nice clean rooms and a great breakfast. My only complaint which is very small… is that it would've been nice to have a coffee maker in the room so I didn't have to go downstairs every time to get a cup of coffee, or wait for them to have to make some. Other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you!

We stayed here for my sons 4th birthday and really enjoyed it and would most likely come back despite the few downfalls. Pros:
24/7 coffee in lobby.
Deluxe breakfast 6-10am (waffles, hash browns, biscuits gravy, toast products, fruit, cereal etc) …
Smaller pool (3ft-5ft I believe? We have littles so it was perfect!
Plenty of parking.
Room was very spacious!
Bathtub was larger and had a nice shower head.
Beds were comfy.
Couch pullout was comfy.
TVs were nice.
Mini fridge kept things cool.
Didn't smell like smoke.
Good nightly rate, especially for a holiday! Cons The customer service was on the lesser side.
There was no coffee maker in the room! (I was seriously shocked by this! )
Some of the towels were really rough.
The free shampoo/conditioner was of lesser quality (IMO of course, but it WAS free so *shrugs)
The elevator was really slow for a 3 story hotel.
The pool/hot tub closes at 11pm (for parents, this kinda sucks! We couldn't hot tub because of this and too excited kids that didn't sleep until late)
Biscuits for breakfast were COLD (no, not room temp, cold, like fridge cold. Warm them up first! )
The cereal wasnt fresh and tasted as such.
They didnt have coffee at 6am and ran out when we went back at 7am. They quickly put our more, but being more prepared might benefit next time, especially for the holiday weekend.

Tried to get a room. 600.00 for a room I paid 150 for a few months ago. Price gouging beyond belief for this eclipse. This was for one night. Not multiple days. And then I checked for the day of to enjoy the town and it's the same price. Wow, talk about taking advantage of a natural phenomenon. Again this is for one day at red Lion owned franchise hotel.

Stayed one night in a room with two queen-sized beds. The room was quite big and clean. The bathroom was clean. Only complaint about the bathroom was when standing in the shower, the "floor" of the bathtub made noises and felt somewhat unstable. The hotel itself was undergoing renovations, which I was not advised about when I made the reservation — I felt that to be a little unfair. We had to be up fairly early as we were continuing on with our journey but as we were preparing our suitcases, etc. There was hammering going on in an adjacent room and the reception area was a disaster zone! The continental breakfast was o. K. But not great. So all in all, okay for a one-night stay but not sure I would have wanted to stay any longer.

We had a two room family suite. It was great to have more space for a large family. Location was great — only a few miles from the Spruce Goose!

Insufficient plug ins for electronics. Cooler was extremely noisy all night. Breakfast was disappointing. Would not recommend to others.

Relatively quiet location. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Passable breakfast. No decent food within walking distance.

Overall, the room was clean and decent. The fridge, however, did make a horrible humming noise and the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Overall, not too bad.

Red Lion Inn has been known to have been one of the more luxurious"regular hotels" you can find around most cities. Many of them are accompanied with a restaurant, nice pools, room service, etc. Not this one. This one is showing its age. Not only does it not have a restaurant, room service or all-around amenities, its just all-around lackluster. The rooms are average, with small bathrooms that are pretty much just a toilet and a shower. The bathroom sort of extends to the main room, which might be annoying if you're there with someone who might get up before you. The staff at the desk were not top-notch either. I get that it's not the most exciting place to work, but greet your guests. You're the first aspect of the place we will notice beyond the actual building. This is only a few minutes from the Aerospace Museum, so it's not in a bad location, however, I'd try another place out before here.

Room was clean, plenty of space, and generally well stocked. However, refrigerator and bathroom fans were unusually loud and obnoxious, especially when the fridge compressor would kick in randomly at night. Floors are thin so you can hear guests walking around outside your room. Showerhead was broken and spraying water every which way. Sink and tub were both clogged. +1 because they stocked Georgia Pacific toilet paper (the Costco variety). — 3 because breakfast was sparse and they ran out of everything hot and didn't restock, so we left and got breakfast elsewhere.

I was a little dissatisfied with my stay this past Sunday. I decided to get a family suite so my daughter to swim and my boyfriend and I would be able to watch the Superbowl (we don't have TV) and have some fun family time. I arrived for check in at 3:15 I was told by the gentleman at the front desk my room was not clean yet but I could grab a water and take a seat in the lobby and they will get right to it. I am a reasonable person so I sat. Mind you the game started at 3:30. We waited in the lobby until 4 when I got frustrated of waiting and told the guy we were going to eat and asked for a call when the room was ready. By the time the room was ready it was almost 5 when we checked in. That's almost 2 hours after check in and over an hour after the game started. Since pool rules are adults only after 9 this significantly impacted my daughters amount of swim time also. On a side note there were also no clean towels in the pool area. The staff was friendly and the rest of the stay was nice but frankly my room should have been ready at 3, especially since I paid for a suite. I am a rewards customer and this will definitely impact my decision to stay here again, and if I do I guess I should call and tell them I'll be checking in at the actual check in time.

Very friendly people at the desk, Great rooms, clean, quite, and comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Sausage, biscuits, gravey, waffles, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, and much more. They also welome animals! We will stay there in the future.

The staff were great. The room was as expected, clean and inviting. We used the pool and it was nice. Great overall stay.

Not many options in McMinnville proper, so it is what it is. Staff was helpful and pleasant, but generally speaking the property is pretty blah. Check around for other options if you're looking for amenities. I was in town for work, so at the end of the day, I was good with a clean bed and place to rest.

I was there for about 9 hours. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The staff was courteous, if not particularly efficient.

I have stayed in this hotel once or twice a year since it was built. It used to be a wonderful place to stay, but since the change in owenership a few years back there has been a decline. After spending a week there this month, I am not sure I will every go back. Upon entering our room after checking in, my roommate notice the carpet had sand on it. On the desk I found money left by the last person. Was the desk even wiped off? The sheets were clean, but mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. I don't think the floor was vaccumed the whole week we were there. The hotel was full and was running out of towels. One day the maid left us no bath towels at all, the next day the towels were ratty and worn out.

Pretty nice place. Very friendly staff. Room was clean. Only complaint would be that the only close place to eat is McDonald's.

Wifi connection was poor. Pool was great.
