Family friendly employees. Made me feel really comfortable when I checked in and found out I didnt have a reservation. Awesome employees.

We had a wonderful stay and Karen was extremely helpful! she went out of her way to make us happy Thank you Karen!

The lady at the front desk was knitting coozies for her people for Christmas. She saw me eating my food in the buffet area and my jar of hot food that was going cold. She gifted me one! Such a lovely thought. And, Willl the front desk attendant this evening leant me his charger for my phone when mine stopped working! The concierge here is amazing.

Slept well in a very clean and quiet room! They had no snack machines though, my only disappointment! Other than that, a Wonderful place to stay!

Stayed here during the pandemic. I had to come here from another hotel that lost its power and had no generator.
I love Hyatt hotels and this was no exception.
Wonderful place, wonderful location.

Front desk was total opposite. Watch them turn family away from breakfast, because they wanted to get it cleaned up. They should have directed them to the cold cereals, toast and fruit. Front desk are the important staff. May be the only ones the guest interact with.

Just what I was looking for! 10 minutes to Fort Lee, fantastic customer service, awesome breakfast, and the room had a nice sitting area that was perfect for my son and I to host my cousin who lives in the area for Sunday NFL football so we could all watch our home team! Good food delivery options very close by. Hotel also has a nice selection of food and a small bar area. Would definitely recommend to anyone, particularly military families who are visiting their loved ones at Fort Lee.

I slept in this hotel after another Hyatt place in Orlando because is pet friendly and was perfect. For just one day you pay (but is the same price from 1 to 5 days) 75$ pet clean room fee. And other hotels I used few days before they charged from 0$ to 20$ for 1 day pet fee. For the future I guess to opt for others pet friendly structure for just 1 day. For more days is pretty convenient. Repeat I stay in other Hyatt place 2 days before and this hotel respect of the Orlando's one is pretty old. Manual A/C in room. Loud noise vent in the bathroom. No sink in the coffee area. Rusted handle for the forniture. Detached and old pool. For the breakfast only few tables was available and I took the breakfast in reception… I guess it needs a massive renovation.

The night shift front desk clerk has got to be one of the rudest people I've ever met in my whole life. I've never felt more uncomfortable staying at a hotel ever! We arrived 8-10-18 and stayed threw 8-12-18. I've never had a issue with anyone working front desk until this lady. I'd understand if I had been difficult in any way to deal with but that wasn't the case. She simply acted like she hated everyone I seen her come in contact with. Even stood by and watched her threaten a guest staying at the hotel that wouldn't take her disrespect like I did. So if your going to stay here dont expect any southern hospitality from the night shift. She's currently working now on 8-12-18 at 4:43 am.

Quick check in! Nice room. Great breakfast. And Kira, the young lady at front desk, was so helpful and kind and went out of her way for us. Would stay there again just because of her kindness and professionalism.

This hotel has been a great hotel to stay at. The staff has always been great and very friendly. In my past stays the rooms have been well kept, clean and put together. This stay however I was surprised to find that the pullout bed wasn't put together, the shower fixtures were broken, and the bed was sloppily made. The review is so high because out of my numerous stays this is the only one that I have had issues. The breakfast selections are great and they keep them refreshed throughout the service. I would recommend this hotel as one of the best in the area.

Room was very spacious. King bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed mattress was covered in plastic under the sheets (likely because they assume kids sleep there and want to prevent having to replace mattresses due to bed wetting) which was loud and when my kids moved it woke me up. Hotel was clean and well kept. The tile in our bathroom needed to be relaid and regrouted but this didn’t really bother us as everything was clean and smelled nice. Great selection at breakfast as well.

The lobby was clean, and had a nice sitting area. Breakfast had a good selection of foods and tasted good. The room looked nice and was clean. Had everything you'd like in a room except a microwave.

Need major renovation of baths. First room had mold in shower grout floor, 2nd room bath faucet not connected. Tub stained, and didn't drain while showering, spotted tile. Staff very helpful.

I checked in on May 18, 2018. After I checked in, I looked at my account and notice they charged me twice. I go to the front desk and I explain to Karen what happened. She proceeds to tell me that it was on hold and they never charged me the first time. I explained to her that I went through a third party and I showed her where I paid them and also where the hotel charges me. She said ok and walked away. So, she was bring rude and I asked her did she take care of it and she said yes, but my instinct told me different. Later on that night I spoke with Courtney, who was extremely helpful and she told me that she saw where I paid the first time and that she will reverse it and for to ask to speak with a manager in the morning. She also gave me a drink on the house for my inconvenience, which I greatly appreciated. I spoke with Angel the manager in the morning and she was also very helpful. She said it would be reversed and she was sorry for the inconvenience. The hotel was nice, they served breakfast, the rookms were great. Except for Karen's nasty attitude and not knowing how to give good customer service, my stay was great.

The place was well maintained. However the drawbacks were that the "bar" was like only a couple of chairs and there was no room service and plus if you are trying to eat later on they do not staff but one person to be there bartender, cashier, and chef. So it took an hour for is to get some food. The employee was quite courteous and nice and was trying her best. I rated the 4 just because she was so nice. Otherwise it would be a 1. The rooms were nice though.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place. It was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! 10/10 all around experience.

I was in an overnight trip once and stayed at Hyatt place and let me tell u something, it was a nice hotel and all, but the blankets were covered in hair and the sheets were dirty. The food was cold, and I'm pretty sure no one would want to eat cold food. I've been to "worst hotels" but at least they give and serve nice warm food, and have clean sheets. I've heard nice things about this hotel, but my experience at this hotel was not what I expected.

An aging Hyatt Hotel, which includes breakfast rentals, is clean and has nice staff. The bar is mini a restaurant available, must sit virtually in the lobby. For a night as a well-located hotel it served its purpose, for a long time it would not be my choice but for Chester quite o K.

Loyal Hyatt customer. Location is scheduled for a refurbishment that's needed. However, the property is kept up, just looks worn. Doors slam too hard and the room was near the elevator. Staff was nice, will be back after the refurb.

We called to see if they have any availability. They said they do and we can check in as soon as we arrive. The lady at the disk was clueless. First she said there was no rooms available in the middle of the night. Then we called Hyatt customer service and they said there is. It took her a long time to manage the system and activate a room key for us! Then we asked for a bassinet, she said we don’t have anything for babies! What kind of hotel that doesn’t carry bassinets for babies! Asked for extra blankets, she said no! Well I really give her the benefit of the doubt that she might be new and learning but no one else was there to help her help us make our stay comfortable. I was surprised from this after reading good reviews and knowing that Hyatt has high standards of customer service. But not this one.

The rooms are very spacious and nice. Beautiful view of downtown Richmond from the windows. The hotel is nice and has a few shops, eateries, and coffee shop.

This place is hit or miss. My original room had been smoked in. They were nice enough to give me a new room but a nice size of attitude came with it. I had to leave early the next morning and there was a miscommunication with the night staff and night audit staff as the coffee was not available. The night auditor was nice enough to make me coffee but that points to the larger problem of lack of internal communication. Overall clean lobby decent rooms clean rooms and clean bathroom.

Good, but the key card. Had to get it remade 3 times — basically it worked once each time reset. After I'd get back in my room, if I left again I had to get the card renewed again. C'mon!

The mattress is the worst thing about the room. During our four-night stay, housekeeping failed to show despite midday prompting — when we complained, the lovely night manager gave us a free bottle of wine. Otherwise the room is clean and spacious, and so convenient to the highways.

I love it! It's very clean, the staff is friendly and very polite and the food is great. Most importantly, it's next to shopping centers and other food establishments as well.

We go the Jalapenos in the strip mall next to the hotel. It's got awesome food and staff. If your hungry get the fajitas burrito or the chicken and rice you will be full and have left overs. The chips and salsa are awesome! They also have a bar and lots of tv's to watch football and relax.

Was my very first time visiting and the staff was courteous and kind and very attentive the room was very well kept up only stay overnight but it was a good experience. And the breakfast was amazing and delicious and all the favorite things I like to eat.

All the makings of a Hyatt Place. Service at the front desk was exceptional every time I approached them. The room was best and tidy and everything was in working order. WaWa is across the parking lot. No complaints.

Worst Hyatt Place I have EVER stayed. The evening shift girl at the front desk was horrible. The hotel was outdated and actually smelled. The pool was not clean. The fitness center was an outdated joke. This was shocking because this was the only night booked of vacation that I wasn't worried about the hotel! I have stayed at this chain across the country on business and personal. They are always top notch. I can't believe this one was so bad. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

I have stayed in hotels for 90% of the last 7 years. I stayed in three rooms here over the last 6 weeks. This hotel is great! The breakfast is pretty solid. The rooms are nice and clean, roomy, comfortable beds. All he normal accommodations and then some. The cable is not that good. The after hours food was not my favorite. There's restaurants well within walking distance of here and it is also right next door to a Wawa. The staff here is great! Denise is awesome! They're all good! Thanks Hyatt for making my stay here excellent! I definitely recommend this hotel.

I am furious. Was booked here for a lacrosse tournament in July. When I found out my daughter was not playing the first day of the tournament, I forgot to cancel my room for that night. When I showed up a day later, I found they had cancelled our room and given it to someone else. Every hotel in Richmond was completely booked with multiple events that were going on in town. After a nightmare experience, at 1am we finally found another room in King's Dominion, about 45 minutes away. I don't fault the hotel for giving my room away in a tight market. And I would have happily paid for the night I didn't stay there if they had held my reservation or even tried to contact me in some way. But they not only kicked me out of the room, cancelled my reservation, and gave the room to someone else — — they also charged me for the night! When I called to explain what happened, I got some employee on the phone who was AWFUL. He was immediately hostile and defending the charge — — he was a complete jerk and a conversation that should have been quite civil quickly went downhill.

Everything was beyond perfect. Reception was fast and had our room ready right away. The room cleanliness was impeccable. The location right off of the highway make it great for a quick stay. Breakfast was amazing for being free. I can say enough about this hotel.

Fountain outside is a Pokémon stop. We visit this locale every weekend morning and evening to capture Pokémon and recharge our Pokémon balls and potions.

The customer service at this location is absolutely horrible. When was the last time you made a reservation, added someone's name to the reservation (their arrival would be before yours), successfully canceled it (get the email and no longer shows on your HYATT REWARDS ACCOUNT) only to still get charged because you didn't CANCEL the reservation that had already been cancelled because of the additional guest?! Then be told they are going to do YOU a favor this one time?! Never again!

It was okay. Pleasant check in, large, quiet rooms, breakfast was okay-small buffet and in a small area, which was kind of cramped. Would stay again, but would not pay obscene prices that are advertised on their door ($300-400).

The room was more of a suite than regular hotel room. It had a living area with full couch and desk. The TV included a separate panel that you can connect consoles or electronics to. Easily hooked up my computer to watch Netflix. Internet was free, as was parking. Complimentary breakfast until 10am. They also have free remote printing. And the staff was amazing! Seriously best hotel for the price. I could not have been more pleased.

The room was modern, spacious, and comfy. The hotel has a kitchen with contemporary food selections and bar. The amenities are somewhat lacking for working out but gets the job done. Location is in a nice area and and easy to find (right off the highway). Internet was good and easy to set up. Most channels were in HD.

Very old rooms, definitely needs some renewal. AC does not work, if it does, is very very noisy that basically you can't have it on over night. Breakfast is the same every day, Same food, same beverage,

Good place but here's why only 4 stars: — Tub's reglazing was one of the worst I've ever seen. — AC wall unit is not digital and requires a lot of tinkering to get comfortable.

The hotel is in a very convenient location to I-295 in Chester. It is very nice when you first walk in with ample seating for evening drinks and morning breakfast. The booking system was slow when I tried to book a reservation through the front desk. However, the staff was very friendly at helpful.

Check in was good, nice friendly personnel, luggage carriers were available, double room (handicap) was perfect because we had traditional shower with shower curtain instead of the fancy shower with the 3/4 glass door that we experienced at Hyatt in Chesapeake, VA, almost a week ago, where floor gets wet. This hotel is right off interstate 295, and Continental breakfast is available. Loved our stay and we recommend this hotel.

This hotel is awesome! I stayed for 3 days and the service and workers were very helpful and informative! I had the king room, the room looks the same as in the pictures! The couch was clean and comfy! The bed was amazing! The bathroom was spic and span! The prices were great! The gym is minimal, but still very good. Breakfast was awesome in the morning! I love it here and will definitely stay at the hyatt again and again.

This is the worst hotel I've been to. The bathroom is horribly finished, filthy, we did not even take a bath. It is so small, the door almost touches the toilet bowl. You cannot change clothes inside the bathroom. The hallway has a dirty table with a microwave and a toaster — why is this? The hallway garbage by the elevator was a mess. There was this huge open garbage in the middle of the breakfast area overflowing with plates, cups and tissues. One of the staff was walking around barefoot. She thought I did not see her feet, but she was taking some food as well. If you have family, staying here is a mistake. Never again! Maybe another Hyatt Place is better, who knows.

Excellent place to stay! The hotel's staff is awesome. So friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful, and the continental breakfast is hot and delicious.
