Great spot to gather with friends. The rooms provide a warm atmosphere to chit chat. Turn on the fireplace to warm the crisp fall weather. Proximity to many attractions. Loved our accommodations.

Never crowded. Pool was amazing and we were the only ones there most of the time. Highly recommend.

Now one of my favorite resorts! Gorgeous property and helpful front desk staff. But don’t expect cleaning daily cleaning service and housekeeping staff could use training.

Absolutely fabulous. From the beautifully appointed suites, meticulously maintained grounds, great service and excellent amenities, I couldn't find one fault. If you concerns are hygiene, fear not, impeccably cleaned regularly.

We have been coming to Williamsburg for many years but this was our first stay here. We were very happy! It is so well maintained and the villas are huge! Our 2 room villa was awesome! The kids of course loved the pools! We can’t wait to come back!

Convenient location everything you need & want is about 15 minutes away but the resort is secluded and quiet.

We only stayed one night but it was the best night! So comfortable and pleasant and even with all this COVID going on it really was a step away from it all. Highly recommend.

This is a a great place for a family vacation and we highly recommend it. Wonderful big two-bedroom suites with great beds, full kitchens, good dining area/table for family meals, and several pools for the younguns. Colonial Williamsburg, Water Country, and Busch Gardens, Jamestown, and Yorktown are all close for activities and entertaining educational day trips. We aren’t golfers, but that’s a big attraction for many folks. It’s quiet, comfortable, and lovely. Marriott does it again!

Activities was awesome, the dye shirts, making slime. Pools and hot tubs wonderful. Pool activities the grandchildren loved. The staff are all smiles and helpful especially Ilinda and Zak you need to know anything find them. They are outstanding.

Our second time at this property and it’s always friendly service and clean rooms. We love it and will come back again.

We stayed here for three nights. The villas were very spacious. We had a two bedroom villa. Service was exceptional. Pools were nice and clean. Hot tubs were great as well.

Very nice resort. The Villa rooms are top notch, providing 2 king rooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room with seating for 6, living room and washer/dryer en suite. Screened porches/balconies are great. The units are rentals and time shares. Beware of large family groups with young children — they can be very noisy, and the sounds travel (including running in and out, slamming doors at 11:30 pm and 7:00 am. ) Pools are nice and clean, but can be crowded with rowdy children — even at 10-11pm. Property is very well maintained, and all employees are wonderful! Smokers beware — this property is smoke free, and the provided areas are not inviting and barely kept clean. Not fun to use late at night, or when it's raining, as you have to walk to them.

Amenities were nice though we just used the pool but he rest looked nice and very clean. However the Common room we were in was like a dorm. The bathroom was nice and the kitchen area but the carpet was in poor condition and there was spot paint on the door and frame instead of just painting them both. Overall not too bad I assume the villas are a lot nicer an I will stay here next time.

Beautiful property! Pristine lawns, lovely architecture and lavish accommodations! Our suite had a whirlpool jet hot tub, full kitchen with the latest appliances, complimentary coffee and kitchen supplies, and a lush forest surrounding the property. A screened in patio was also available making morning coffee even more special! There were also plenty of activities including 3 swimming pools, biking, indoor games, tennis, basketball, and amazing biking and walking trails. Also less than 20 minutes from shopping and fine dining.

Beautiful grounds. Pleasant staff. They were very friendly and seem to genuinely care that the guests are taken care of. Even passing them in hallways they stopped to say hi and ask if we needed anything. The pools are smaller than other resorts I've been to but it served our purposes. Not too crowded. The grill at the pool was about to close one night and the person working there walked around to the people at the pool letting us know that they were going to shut down and see if we had any last orders. I thought that was really nice. The staff at the activity room were also very helpful and great with the kids. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Ample towels. There was plenty of parking at our building. The only complaint I had were the pillows. They are too fluffy and not supportive. I prefer different ones.

My family has stayed at this resort twice, and were blown away each time. We are a family that is extremely picky with hotels, etc. And the cleanliness of this place amazes us. All staff members are very friendly and helpful. The resort is in a beautiful location and has lots of amenities. Just to note, we have only stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa's so this review may not relate to the typical hotel rooms at this resort. But I highly recommend the 2-bedroom Villa's!

The lodgings were perfect. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Staff were amazing. Grounds were beautiful. Great activities for families. We did not try the food, and we lower one star for the absence of a significantly good, natural foods restaurant. That said, the location is just minutes away from many eateries to satisfy any appetite. We would go again to this resort style club.

Hotel is all expected of a Marriott, so no disappointment there. Still a bit over-priced, for a variety of reasons… is very out of the way of main attraction (Williamsburg), by a few miles. Difficult to maneuver once inside the property (part golf area, part private homes/entrance). And on top of that, check in is very late (no earlier than 4:00 PM) and check out not later than 10:00 am… So you are basically paying a good amount for only a few hours to enjoy the luxury of the hotel and its amenities. Not going back. Rather pay less, if I'm only need a bed to sleep.

Our room at the Marriott Manor club was clean and prepared on time. Reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, they informed us of all the current events going on at the location. Check in was at 4 pm, which I feel is a little on the late side, we arrived at 3:15 and had to wait around for a bit. The room was beautiful inside and out and the grounds were very well kept. The surrounding area is quiet. There were a couple of small issues in the room. There were two lights burned out. There were only a few electrical outlets in the room and one was behind a arge bed post and unusable, the only one that was easily accessed was badly worn and anything I plugged into it fell out. Overall my stay here was very pleasant and I would recommend this Marriott location.

The facility is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I stay at resorts all around the country and this is one of the finer facilities. The properties are beautifully maintained and the rooms are in excellent condition. I have no complaints about this facility.

Went to a wedding. Food was excellent as was the venue. Beautiful scenery & architecture. Stayed overnight at the hotel, they were a little late getting our room ready, but by the time the cocktail hour was over the room was finished. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Location of the hotel is in a very quiet area and the resort has everything you'd expect, pool and hot tub (indoor and outdoor), tennis courts, a beautiful golf course, fitness center, sauna, and kids play area. The time are lovely though the walls tend to be a bit thin and the shower is your run of the mill hotel shower. The service is great, the staff is kind and friendly (every single worked greeted us as they saw us), and they host a number of resort events for the patrons.

We have been owners at Ford's Colony since 1994. Anytime we have visited it has been an absolutely perfect vacation. Marriott is always there for its owners and its guests. Never a doubt! I highly recommend vacationing here and owning with Marriott timeshares.

We recently brought our kids and grandparents to the Marriott Manor Club at Ford's Colony for Easter. What a wonderful experience! The staff was excellent and the kids loved all of the activities available. Great grounds with lots for kids to do. The heated outdoor pool was a plus as was the four square court and outdoor checkers. The Easter Bunny arrived Sunday morning and was a big hit with the kids. The rooms were clean and kitchen was outstanding. We even used one of the outdoor grills for dinner one night. We hope to return again soon!

All the staff we encountered were pleasant and courteous. The room was perfect. Full kitchen, plenty of room. Great jacuzzi tub and screened in porch. Definitely will go back.

Amazing hotel. We stay here every year and we are NEVER disappointed. The staff is great, the rooms are spectacular, and the grounds are beautiful. The bartenders especially (Everette and Zach) are the best! Don't waste your time anywhere else… this place will make your stay perfect.

The staff here on our visit we're exceptional, they seemed to go out of their way to greet you, hold/get a door for you and we're just outright pleasant. On a negative note, we selected early check in as an option at booking with an anticipated arrival time of 1200 noon. Upon arrival at approximately 1:30 pm, we were told a room was not ready and when I brought it to the attention of the young lady checking us in, she explained that although it did show we selected early check in, they cannot guarantee anything before 4:00 pm. This was rather frustrating as we were basically sent away and told they would call when a room was ready. They did call less than 10 minutes after walking back to my car and state the room was ready, however it just serves to start guests off on the wrong foot when you cannot provide accommodations that guests are allowed to select during the booking process. The only other negative mark from my experience would be for the shower floor, as seen in the attached picture, I feel as if the shower had been cleaned, however the housekeeping staff should certainly take note of mold/mildew growing in the grout and use a little bleach to clean it. We stayed in a one bedroom Villa (4203 in case anyone from Marriott reads this and wants to pass along the above to housekeeping) in the federal building and I was very impressed with the rest of the room, for the money I believe compared to a typical hotel, it was an outstanding value.

THE place to stay while in Williamsburg. Excellent staff. Beautiful grounds. Suites are well equipped with plenty of room for a large family. Activites for all ages.

The first rooms are large and clean. The property is well maintained and the staff are nice. The area also has good parks.

If you have a Sprint phone, you are about to get better coverage here at the resort. We are updating the network to receive super fast data speed.

I stayed here mid-January 2018. The villas are beautiful! Very clean, modern, comfortable. Just about 20 minutes from Williamsburg. I plan to stay here every time I visit that area.

Great location to venture out for lots of history, food and fun. Quiet and friendly. The staff has many activities going on every day so you can just relax and not leave the resort.

My family and I stayed here for a weekend and were very impressed with everything. The rooms were clean and well laid out, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a game room that has game consoles, arcade machines, ping pong, a pool table, and a kid's play/craft area that my 3 year old is still talking about now.

Pleasant, quiet, relaxing, safe. Enjoyed one of the evening socials. Our place had 2 private bedrooms and baths with a living room, dining area and kitchen between them. Nicely furnished, though some of the kitchen accessories were missing. Gas grills just outside the building available for guest use. Much better than the 2 motel rooms we had initially reserved elsewhere and only $40 more! Would gladly return for another visit! We're keeping a lookout for other Marriott vacation properties when we're traveling.

A beautiful resort that is very restful. It is off the beaten path with spacious rooms. The staff is very helpful and strives to make your experience as pleasant as possible. You can truly unwind here and have easy access to the major Williamsburg attractions.

We are here for a week. The condos are very spacious and clean. We asked if they had a slow cooker to use for a meal. It was delivered in a matter of minutes. The employees are so kind and helpful. There are so many activities to be involved in. The grounds are beautifully taken care of.

We been staying at Marriott properties for a long time and they have the best in hotels as well as their vacation clubs. We have stayed in the USA, Europe, Mexico and Caribbean and their service is excellent. Their villas as beautiful and have plenty of room.

This was our 4th year at the Manor club. We started stopping there as an overnight on the way to the beach and every year, we extend our stay. The villas are spacious and recently remodeled. They have multiple pools and hot tubs, including an awesome splash pad for the kids. There are also TONS of activities for the kids each day (build a bear, ceramic painting, pool games, movies at the pool, kids activity room with ping pong, pool, arcade, etc. ) This is our 4th year and we are always extremely pleased with the staff, service and food there. Our kids love going there just as much as the beach. My daughter celebrated her birthday there this year and the staff delivered a hand-signed card with balloons and bag of little trinkets. Even when unexpected things happen, the staff could not be more accommodating. We're looking forward to coming back again next year!

Nice place and great place to stay. Would have been a 5 but if your on the bottom level of one of the buildings you can hear every movement from the people in the room above you. It is very distracting and annoying.

Great week at Manor Club! Beautiful weather for our visit. Staff extremely friendly, outgoing and helpful. Splash pool area great for families with kids, other pool a little quieter. Multiple hot tubs, and indoor pool if weather is off or you have too much sun. Villas and grounds well maintained, with quality furnishings. Golf and Ford's Colony across the drive, beautiful course. A wonderful change from a beach/ocean vacation.

My family of 8 people had a great experience. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Nestled in the trees it is beautiful and close to everything we wanted to see. However, our only complaint is the on-site bistro is horribly overpriced. For example, we were charged $7.50 for an inch-width sliver of cheesecake and $6 for two oz of chili.

This place is nothing short of spectacular! The staff are so kind and helpful! So many great activities to participate in! I wish I would have found out about this when my kids were younger!

I enjoyed the pool and running the trails. The hotel really is in a beautiful location especially if you go run the trails and appreciate it. Lots of golf and tennis nearby. There is a pool bar and bar in the main hotel but not really then scene if you are single. It's a bit away from town but Oceans Ale is only a couple of miles away. I would stay here again if I brought my family otherwise I would stay in town.

We had a wonderful room and the staff was quite friendly. We stayed in the commons. The hotel has a little market cafe (and a restaurant) so you can buy reasonably priced breakfasts, snacks and beverages. When I return, I will ask for an upstairs room, away from the main entry and the elevator. We checked into a room next to the elevator and were moved to another room at the quiet end of the hall, per my request. The kitchenette was extremely convenient and came with a small fridge, a sink, a microwave, a coffee-maker, dishes and utensils. I didn't wash the dishes one morning when we rushed to get to Busch Gardens. The cleaning staff had kindly cleaned the dishes for us.

Spacious rooms, 3 great golf courses. The kids loved the swimming pools. One has a 0 depth play area for the little ones. There is a work out room and saunas that we have yet to explore. Everything is quiet and clean. There are 3 hiking trails where we have seen a lot of wildlife. Birds are everywhere and there are many feeders out so you can easily watch the seed eaters. Very relaxing.

From the minute I booked the vacation I had the most friendly contacts. The area we requested was not guaranteed to us but we were very fortunate to get an amazing two bedroom suite. It's close to Williamsburg, within a 10 min drive, close to Jamestown and Busch Gardens. We did and saw so much. The staff from
The front desk to cleaning and garden were friendly and helpful. At all times we felt relaxed, comfortable, and well taken care off. After 3 days we decided to join the vacation club and own a share. There was no pressure. We were fully explained all parts of it and picked what wasn't best for us. Now we have a set way to plan vacations for our family. This particular property even in December had flowers planted, bushes trimmed to perfection, and lights at the entrance that were so inviting. It's clean and very well kept. Small store on site as well as bistro/bar. Two pools, one indoor one out. Golf course right there. There are kids rooms and a theatre.
They offer some fun little projects each day too. It's worth the stay. Beautiful property!

I attended an event held at this club, a cultural demonstration for the Chinese new year. The club was a little difficult to find/drive to, despite numerous signs, but the experience after was an absolute breeze. The staff were kind and courteous. I only was present at the club for two hours, and as such don't feel comfortable rating it a full five stars, not knowing enough info.

Beautiful compound, life size checkers available — like in Harry Potter! Shuffle board was open late and the pool was easily accessible even in the off season.

Always a great time when we stay at Marriott's Manor Club. We've stayed in both the older villas and the newer (sequel II) villas. Both are nice. This last time we were in the villa with the game room and activity room. Perfect for late fall!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. The kitchen was fully stocked with coming supplies. The need was comfortable, and there were newspapers just steps from our door.

Great amenities clean rooms heated pool. Movie nights are fun but arrive early to get a seat. Free wine and cheese on Mondays.

Very happy with our stay, great beds, exceptionally clean, more than adequate kitchen. Only complaint was the pool area was not cleaned properly each day-food and other litter on concrete. Matted hair in the pool. Squirrel droppings need swept in the morning before opening. Would be nice if more umbrella tables were available.

I love this place. Being a Marriott club owner gave us a great advantage. Everything that I requested prior to coming here was given to me. My husband got to play rounds of golf for free! Our two-bedrooms suite is right next to the clubhouse, make it really easy to go to the pools, marketplace and fitness center. The whole experience is blissful. This place is becoming our favorite place for weekend getaway. Thank you Marriott for keeping this resort very upscale looking.
