First time here, friendly and courteous staff, great location, nice rooms, but no iron or ironing board.

This hotel was not at all what they advertised. The construction was noisy and messy, not to mention a mouse running across my hotel room while sitting on the bed! Disgusting. That has NEVER happened to me in any other hotel that I have ever stayed at. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I loved staying here, they staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, quiet even tho being on a main DC street and a good price the shower was amazing and the couch was a pull out.

The room was in the process of renovation. The flooring is cement with a garage like feel. They did have one rug. It just gave a cold feeling not warm and inviting. The bathroom maybe recently painted was not very clean there were several paint drips on the flooring and wall. The shower had no place for a bottle of shampoo or soap so if you want to wash you have to step out of the shower to retrieve items to use to wash. The half door allows water to go everywhere. We wanted to go into town after arriving. There was a gentleman walking down the hallway with a hoodie pulled over his eyes we watched from around a corner to see him try several doors and then exit on the stairs. Very unsafe feeling. I commented on these things when signing into Wifi, but got no response. There was all kinds of dust and mess in the hallway from the construction. It seems if this is going on you should have a reduced rate. The cleaning personnel left a bottle of cleaning agent hanging off our towel rack. It was a very disappointing stay. We also turned in early one night to be woken up by loud music at 2:30 am. I am usually of the thought process you get what you pay for, but this was not a cheap stay for what we got. Also, the only breakfast offer lukewarm coffee and $6 bagels.

Great hotel and a great location!

If you come to Washington D. C. I highly recommend The Wink hotel. It is affordable really clean and it's within walking distances to everything.

Management have no idea, only half of the front desk staff know how to manage a hotel, I’m sorry after having to call the hotel for past 12 days to fix a bill, I will not stay again.

This a very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Willing to help you out anytime of the day. Very clean rooms. So quiet and comfy beds that I can stay here sleeping all day. Would definetely consider it again for a future visit to DC.

Great hotel. However, the parking price is CRAZY. If I'm staying at your establishment for 4 days why should I have to pay for parking?

Hotel was very nice, with spacious modern rooms and accommodating staff members. Parking is quite pricey at $57 for our overnight stay, and the hotel provided parking is only valet. There is fortunately a parking garage across the road by Starbucks and Potbelly's that is $30 for the evening and is self park.

Great location (although I wish it were a little closer to the metro), amazing customer service, good pricing, and a nice room for the price. The restaurant downstairs had great food, and the Illy coffee shop had great coffee. The bartenders at the restaurant were very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are a bit high for the food, but the portion sizes make up for it (they're huge). I have docked one star because the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and that's a pretty important part of staying in a hotel.

Hi me and my parents went to the wink hotel to move my sister into college at George Washington university. The first and second nights I kept getting more bites on my legs. We go to check out and to tell the front desk about the bites and they say nothing but please keep your voice down. Trying not to admit anything and tell us they will do a report. They call us back saying nothing was found. We told him the bites were getting worse and to send us the receipt. The receipt comes and the only thing signed was a two letter name. This consulting with many other hotel employees from other hotels. Is a case of bugs. Either bed bugs or fleas from past animals staying in the rooms. When booking for a hotel there are way better options then The Wink hotel.

This was a good experience on balance. The first night we stayed here we were put up in a room that was damp. At first we thought it was excess humidity from the shower and housekeeping but even after blasting the A/C the room was still damp. The sheets were damp and we found out that it was because the room’s carpet was recently cleaned with the water washer. We spoke to the front desk and they offered us a nicer room next door and also free breakfast (see images of the food). So it turned out very well in the end. If you want to stay in a location between Georgetown and also the main attractions in DC this is the spot. There is a 24/7 Walgreens just across the street and a Starbucks that opens pretty early in the morning.

Love my space at this hotel. Good for a professional staying for a few days for business. I'm part of a multiple day workshop hosted downstairs and the service is great! Delicious food choices too.

The room was nicely designed & spacious. I loved the design of the mini fridge & that there were booklights on the headboard yet the foul smell in the closet turned my stomach and was not handled properly. An "engineer" came to check it out & never returned to spray the closet with air freshener. It needed to be shampooed or deep cleaned since it was an intense scent coming directly from the closet. I couldn't eat or sleep too close to it. It made me nauseous!

I stayed for one night with my wife in late April this year. Very good Hotel, and great location. I must say that the Rooms Manager Emmanuel Cornista was very kind and helpful to us. He guides you on where to go. He helped us by walking us to the Taxi and with our luggage as well. After we checked out Emmanuel kept our luggage with him until we left since our flight was late at night. Thank you so much.

If you travel with your dog, this is the place for you! The room was large and super clean. The restaurant has great food. And they not only allow dogs, they are welcome throughout the hotel common areas. Location is perfect: close to walking distance to Georgetown and The White House. Don't forget to enjoy a coffee from illi in the hotel lobby.

Small rooms. No coffee machine. When I checked in, they gave me a room that was occupied-embarrassing! Quickly fixed, but could have been and issue. Very nice, helpful staff. The highlights were the cucumber water in the lobby and a well-stocked bar with comfy chairs on the main floor.

We made the reservation and paid with a debit card. We were unaware that we were required to pay $49 to park. We paid the parking fee with cash at check in. Upon checking out, I noticed I was charged a SECOND time for parking. I showed the payment receipt and the helpful worked put the refund back on my card which would take a day or two to clear. The refund was posted the next day and I was charged a THIRD time for parking. When I called the front desk worker was rude and told me she would get her manager. I was then hung up on after waiting for more than 7 minutes for the manager. I went to my bank and I am calling the better business bureau. I wonder how many other people this has happened to?

Friendly staff and great location. Rooms are in need of a make over and not very nice. Very uncomfortable beds, pillows and linens. AC wasn’t the best. Either it would stay on or stay off. We stayed with a large group and we all had the same issues with each room.

The room was small but adequate. Attempted to use the fitness center in the late evening but it was full of children playing on the equipment. Parents were present but appeared to be playing on their phones. Front desk staff did not seem to think it was a problem. Highly recommend trying the almond "brioche" French toast for breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

Very nice hotel. Dog friendly, located in DuPont circle, in the heart of the action. Cool bar with food, nice bartender. Pretty breakfast area, good presentation on food. Parking is valet, not my favorite. Well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Looks like they will be adding or updating the restaurant as we were informed. Pick this place and have fun, because you will.

It doesn't feel like 4 star hotel. The bathrooms have no extractor, the lamps in the bathrooms are rusted, the tubs are stained and some of the sheets had broken.

The lobby/lounge/bar area is huge and very comfortable for hanging out and relaxing with a drink whenever you need some time away from your room. Really quick to get to/from DCA on the metro, though.

If you're a Marriott Rewards Gold, the concierge lounge here generally puts out a good spread for breakfast. Valet park only, about a half mile walk from the nearest Metro stations. Really quick to get to/from DCA on the metro, though. Great hotel in D. C. Walking distance to metro stations makes it easy to get around. Room was smaller than others I've stayed in but not cramped. Everything was clean. The bed was great. I didn't eat at the hotel but the menu looked good.

Amazing service. Very friendly staff in all areas from the doormen to bartenders to front desk to room service to house keeping and the booking lady. Our stay has been very pleasant and relaxing. Warm and bright decor. Available amenities. The food my goodness the food is amazing. Had the hummus platter. Best hummus I've ever had. And the quinoa and potatoe burger was amazing. The over stay has been so positive. Thank you and keep up the great fantastic work. I highly recommend the hotel and the price is so affordable and worth it.

Friendly staff, comfy beds but funny that the kettle/coffee maker is in the closet and you can't take it outside.

There are so many wonderful Marriott/Starwood properties in DC, there is no reason for this one. The smallest, darkest room I have ever experienced at a Marriott property, after 8+ years of Platinum or Gold status, and the shower barely worked. When I brought this up to management, they said this was a 'boutique hotel', — uh, no you are not. Boutique refers to independently owned, few rooms, unique themed. It is NOT synonymous with tiny, poorly maintained rooms. While the staff was not outwardly rude, they were 'bothered' by any little request. For example, my toothpaste was out, and when I called for a new one, it took three calls over two hours. The other Renaissance has this one beat 100x over. Also, it is NOT in Dupont Circle.

Good location, furniture and functionality of the room of excellent level, some dissonant notes in the finishes.

Friendly employees and clean rooms that account for all your needs: HDMI and other laptop ports on a wall panel (you bring your own cord), fridge, hair dryer, quick checkout, wonderful bath products, etc. The hotel is about 1 mi from the National Mall — a reasonable walking distance. There are also a lot of amazing food options within a mile radius. If you're a Marriott Rewards member, you can get free Wi-Fi. Otherwise, it's $12.95 per day. The parking is valet only and costs $49 for overnight. If you prefer self parking, the Ritz Carlton (about 3 min walk) has overnight self parking for $35.

Just stayed from 11/10-11/12 for a last minute quick getaway. The staff that attended to us while we were there went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible! Can not say enough wonderful words about Ronald, Reqiuan, London, Ms. Lidia at the front desk and Lorenzo food & beverage manager, Customer service at its finest! Bell hops were also very attentive to our travel needs. Thank you staff for our memorable stay!

I was in town for a work-related event and stayed at the hotel for one evening. Rooms were clean, small, but adequate. Price booked online was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The front desk staff convinced me to sign up for Marriott rewards, but spelled my name wrong in the computer. No big deal but now I can't log in so I have to call customer service to get it corrected. Overall a pleasant stay at a good price, I would stay there again.

I stayed 12 nights at this hotel in April. While the location was great, the service at this hotel was very poor. The rooms are also very small. The staff at times were not helpful. They had two cars assigned for parking on my room and they told I had to wait until check out to resolve the issue. It was resolved a few days later after I complained a bit more, but I should not have had to do that. Additionally, as a Marriott Rewards member they credited my account for 9 nights instead of 12. The best thing about this hotel is the location, but not much else. Stayed again at this hotel for two nights in September. The service was the same. I had a vehicle parked at the hotel for me left by my employer, but when I checked in they could not find the parking ticket that was left for me. Leads me to believe based on previous experience at this hotel, that the staff is not organized and they don't communicate with one another. The local is great however. It's the only reason why I chose to stay here again.

The staff are friendly but the rooms are small and very poorly desgned. The closet is on wall close to bed hard to get to and tight to open doors. The desk is a swing out arm tucked in corner that you need to move to get to closet. Very tight and uncomfortable. The bathroom door is in front of sink so you need to go in and close to get to sink very awkward and inconvenient. There are far better choices nearby at lower or similar rate.

It is very comfortable. Very good attention and excellent location.

The hotel lobby was very nice and had a lot of sitting space. The water tap available near the counter was very nice as it had watermelon slices flavoring it. The room was somewhat spacious and had two beds, and the wallpaper was cute. The sink only had two cups but that wasn't a problem. The shower was good but not fantastic. The location is nice as it is close to the airport.

For a hotel in DC, I got a pretty good deal on a double room thanks to my AAA discount. Parking was fairly expensive, but that was to be expected. The room was smaller than expected, but very clean, as was the bathroom. Comfortable beds and it was nice that we were allowed to check-in early and check-out was not until noon. The lounge/bar was also very cool, would return again.

This hotel is truly an exquisite establishment. Manny… the valet is: PROFESSIONAL, personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The team members working the front desk are wonderful. The host, wait staff, kitchen staff and chefs made our dining experiences most memorable. I stayed at this particular property several times. The Marriott Members here NEVER disappoint!

Rooms very comfortable and spacious, the navigator (concierge and front desk clerk) informed us about virtually all of the alternative that we could visit during our stay in Washington DC we made a map to maximize our time.

Elegant hotel in the center of Washington. It has a series of rooms very nice in that there are meetings and congresses. The facilities and services are according to their category, without luxuries.

The service was outstanding. Only minor issue was that the TV stations provided in the room did not include HGTV.

Great location. Easy to walk to everything. Friendly service. Great ambiance. Our room was quaint; really comfortable bed; Aveda products; real, heavy hardwood doors. Cute mini-fridge and a good working ac.

The hotel is very nice. Stayed there part of cherry blossom run group. Water pressure in bathroom not great. But hotel staff very friendly. Very clean hotel. Location great. We were on 16th floor and very quiet.

Room is a little small which doesn't matter for me (I pack light and spend little time in the room) but could be an issue for those whose experience includes the hotel more. I would stay here again!

Pro's: Very comfortable beds. Very clean. Great showers and water pressure. Neat media interface in room. Great location Con's: Small beds, then again they could not fit king size beds and have room to walk around them. No, I am not exaggerating. No free Wi-Fi, let me say it again. No free Wi-Fi, they want you to pay $13 dollars a day. Valet parking is $50 per day, this hit us out of left field. It's my fault for not checking. I have just never stayed in a place that charges so much for a room and then charges that amount for parking and then again for internet. The cons outweigh the pros in my book, but I have learned to ask more questions when booking in a major city.

DC prices $ but it was a great place to hide out from a crazy storm happening! Our bartender Thomas/Zack was great and the manager, Mike was helping out a bunch during the storm rush! We got basic drinks but all were tasty! One guy seemed like a manager was on the phone most the time and wasn't as helpful as Mike or Gwen when it came to the rush. Corn and crab chowder was good, lots of crab! Flour less chocolate cake was very decadent, good portion. I heard great things about the bread pudding so I might try that next time.

Overall, a good hotel. Clean. Looks nice. Very comfortable bedding. Most of the staff is very friendly. My family and I stayed there 3/30/15-4/4/15. Only had a few issues: 1. Bartender serves the food at the table near the bar. He also has to serve the drinks for people sitting at the bar. He seemed overworked. He was late with everything, including water. I had to go to the bar and let him know we needed him several times. 2. We used the Valet parking. Gave them the vehicle upon arrival 3/30. Didn't drive the vehicle again until 4/1. Noticed a receipt with a $5 bill in the door from 3/31 at 8:16a for groceries at an Organic Food store. Complained to the mgr that no one from my family drove the vehicle on 3/31. Mgr dismissed my thoughts of a valet guy driving my vehicle unauthorized. Mgr said it must have fell out a valet guy's pocket or something, because they had no reason to drive my vehicle. Mgr took off one night of the valet charge, which I didn't ask for, but I guess was OK. That made me think that she was guilty about the issue, but I accepted the discount. I still believe one of the guys drove my vehice unauthorized, but I can't prove it. 3. No mini fridge.

Clean rooms but a bit small. Nice bathrooms but lack of a mini fridge hurts it. Valet parking is $49. Park at the garage across the street for $22. Also, Wi-Fi is not free. It's 12.99 or 16.99 per day (not sure what year they think it is. ) I can get the same kind of room, free parking and free Wi-Fi at a $79 Beat Western. Meh.

This is the place to stay if you want to get the Washington DC experience. This hotel is closed to everything. It is affordable if you reserve in advanced an get a nice package. The service is first class and the location is perfect if you are taking the metro. Valet Parking can get pretty expensive. You don't need a car. Public transportation is pretty reliable and besides a little bit of walking is always good.

I was recently in your hotel on May 9th for a charity event and fashion show. My makeup and hair team were there to provide services for the models. We were slightly suprised at some of the shortcomings of the hotel. 1) Upon arrival, I had to park my car outside, go in and actually ask for valet. No one was outside. When someone came outside with us, I had to remind them we had things to unload. And the answer "can you carry all of that yourself? " Um — what? 2) We were shown to the event prep location by someone with the event and not the actual hotel staff — they had no clue what was going on. For an event being sponsored by the Washingtonian magazine — I would think you would know SOMETHING! 3) The hotel staff actually came into our prep/ meeting room and tried to claim that running 2 hair dryers would pull alot of power from the event. It's a hotel! You're telling me there aren't more than 2 hair dryers running at the same time? 4) After the event (on a friday night in downtown dc) there was only 2 people running the valet. We waited outside for an hour. Shouldn't there be a nice waiting spot if it's gonna take that long? 5) When my car was brought up, I asked about my husband's — which was requested and the cards were given at the same time. They told my husband they couldn't locate his car and they might have lost it. WHAT? They finally bring it, and there is no covering the BIG error they just made in admitting that.

Small rooms, no free wireless Internet. Did not like.
