I am a U. S. Army combat veteran that came to this establishment for a hiring event. I had no money for food I just came with a few pennies in my pocket. Not worrying about food for myself I have a service dog that was my only concern. Not knowing my situation Sara moore the front desk clerk paid for my meal so that I wouldn't go hungry I had no idea there were still ppl in this world that cared about us I didn't ask for anything she just did it. I want the world to know how lucky this business is to have a member like her on their team and it will not go unnoticed with the thousands of people I know around the globe thank you sara for looking after a service member in need.

I recently stayed at the Key Bridge Marriott. The staff was all very helpful and greeted everyone like they truly were glad you were there. This was business trip stay and my colleagues had booked at another hotel. We had a birthday celebration for one of my colleagues and we arranged dinner at the Connexion Lounge. Everyone had different dishes and we were all very pleased with our choices. Our server Nick heard us mention her birthday and surprised her with a delicious chocolate cake and ice cream. Nick really is a stellar employee, his attention to guest was evident, Marriott you’re fortunate to have staff with the caliber of customer service he showed everyone around us. I will definitely stay again and definitely recommend the Connexion Lounge!

Would not recommend this hotel. We travelled from Ireland for a family wedding with children. The in door and out door pool was closed we were not informed. Spoke to the staff and the manager they did nothing. The room was tiny for a family of 4. There was two cups for tea or coffee the bathroom was tiny. Staff very unhelpful plus 7 days later I'm still waiting to be refunded on my credit card for the stay even do I paid cash
I've contacted the hotel on the 11th Oct still have not heard back. I'd never stay here again. They have no facilities for familys and there not bothered. Very disappointed.

When I booked our room I was told we had a “family size room” with a great view. I was also told they had a pool available but they didn’t mention that it was “out of season”. We had an extremely small room with a view of a brick wall. The pool was not open so we were not able to take our child to swim. They told us that they couldn’t refund our money even though we didn’t get anything we were told we were getting. Definitely won’t be back.

This is the worst Marriott I’ve ever seen. I experienced a mouse in my room service bag and they had the nerve to not make any concessions for it. Room service was terrible, I complained and they still made me pay for it.

Great customer service. Wife and I are here for our 9th wedding anniversary and the hotel somehow found out and sent a gift bag with all kinds of goodies.

Very comfy, have stayed here a few times. Its my go to choice when visiting Arlington.

Not horrible but I would choose another place next time. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, stayed on 8th floor facing the pool and it was quiet (other than the planes practically flying on the roof, which was tolerable to me) Found a beer bottle cap and hair clip from previous guests on the floor of the room which means it wasn’t cleaned very well. There were fruit flies in the room as well… we had no food so I’m not sure where they came from. No fan in the bathroom which made it turn into a sauna… miserably hot in a very small bathroom. Not enough towels at check in, had to request more. The water gets EXTREMELY hot! Don’t let children adjust the temp without checking it first! The windows in the room were always fogged between the glass. The rooms are very small. The hotel looks updated to a point… budget fix up. Paint over wallpaper, odd tile combos, furniture squeezed into spaces where it really doesn’t fit. Some areas look old. It wasn’t the worst but it felt more like a motel 8 than a Marriott. The location was nice, short walk to many restaurants, offices, Georgetown, and metro. I’d rather stay on the other side of The road where everything is literally steps away without crossing Lee Hwy. Parking garage ($25/day) with good clearance for our large truck.

Hotel was nice, rooms were alright, beds not great, pillows to soft. Pool was nice, hotel staff were very friendly. Went the restaurant inside the hotel called Connexion both nights I stayed there, the food was actually really good, probably the best hotel restaurant I've been to in a while, had a burger and fries the first night and Reuben sandwich the second night. Only negative was the parking, $25 a night was a little steep. Good location close to a Metro station.

The hotel is kind of an odd mix of dated and updated — some parts of it have an updated style and amenities, and parts of it look worn or old. So far it's been a comfortable stay, though. The layout can be a little confusing and the route to a room circuitous, but the room itself is well-kept with typical Marriott amenities. The exercise room is well-maintained and better equipped than most. I was especially pleased to see a pull-up bar until I realized that it was too close to the ceiling to actually use properly. Overall, it's a good place to stay, especially given the extensive meeting facilities, but not the best.

Great for the price! The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. They allowed us to check in very early, which we really appreciated. A Lyft to the museums is only about $9. It is walking distance to Georgetown. Only reason why it doesn’t get five stars, is that the bathroom tub/shower could be upgraded. At least they should upgrade the shower curtain. I recommend this hotel. I will stay there when I travel to DC!

Hotel now at the end. Two more years and then in its place a nice account of luxury apartments with fabulous views of Georgetown and Washington. So under-expected amenities and rather run down rooms. Excellent location.

So I have been here for about 2 days now and so far everything seems good. Nice staff, good big room with a view to the pool which is pretty nice. The pool is decent, not what I was expecting and it is mostly closed all the time. Overall good.

Bathroom is tiny base on the size of my room 456. Can’t get a regular coffee but if I wanted a fancy cup no problem. Really no regular coffee! I think the guy was lazy and just didn’t want to make me a regular cup of coffee. I think he makes a better commission off the fancy stuff!

The original Marriott hotel. It still holds a lot of sentimental values to me. The interior of the building can use a renovation/ rejuvenation. The same for the pool and gym area. Overall I would still recommend booking a room here. Also my two favorite evening walking spots are right in front of it; the Francis Scott Key bridge and Roosevelt island.

The staff is a little slow on the uptake and they carefully monitor people who look slightly different. Lots and lots of tourists in this overcrowded hotel. Rooms are usual Marriott high quality. Great location at a good price. Breakfast is expensive. And, the phone operator NEVER answers the phone. Our whole family could never get in touch with each other because the phone line is never answered. How frustrating.

A dumpy old Marriott, from the faded sign at the entrance to the room interior. Lobby is dated late 70's orange furniture and wall coverings. Room smells musty and bed is a sack of potatoes. Only missing tube TV to send me back in time. Just spoke with front desk, this is the oldest Marriott property in the network worldwide. Going to be torn down in next year, hence no maintenance. I travel 100 + nights a year. This is worst hotel last in 5 years.

We had a corner room and the view was spectacular! Room service was hot, fast and delicious. Daily maid service was spot on perfection and they never touched our personal items. The breakfast buffet had dozens of choices from sweet to savory yummy goodness!

I'm told this is one of the oldest if not the oldest Marriott in the country! The hotel has an older architecture and it's in a great location with fantastic views around the Potomac. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend taking in the night-time view from the top floor Lounge.

Unfortunately, my room was beside a high school touring group. They arrived at 10:00 p. M. The kids were allowed to run up and down the hallway until Midnight. Then at 4:00 a. M. The chaperone's were banging on each of the doors yelling for the kids to wake up so they could begin their day of sightseeing… yes, 4:00 a. M. The following morning. I recommend asking for a room on a floor where these school touring groups are not located. OR find a hotel away from the city and then drive in… at least you will be able to enjoy your stay. It is a nice hotel with a great staff… just unfortunate there is no proper controls over those rude touring groups.

Rooms were nice and clean, great location with easy access to the metro. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. They did have an indoor pool though it wasn't very warm and as of Monday April 9th they closed it permanently. This was a good attention for families but now there isn't much for kids to do.

Decent location. Close to Georgetown and downtown areas by car. Drive to DCA airport in the AM is pretty short with less traffic than Alexandria based hotels. The rooms and building show some age and wear. Lower floors have some pretty terrible views as my coworker found out. My shower took 15 mins to warm up in the morning. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Excellent hotel accommodations. The room offered all the amenities I was seeking. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Always satisfied at Marriott.

We had a great stay at the Key Bridge Marriott last year. We spent the night here on New Year’s Eve so we could explore D. C. And have dinner before flying out the next morning. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. We had a little mixup during the reservation process and they accidentally booked 2 rooms with king beds instead of doubles. The front desk was able to switch our rooms without any issues, even though the hotel was completely booked up! I was a very happy Gold Elite Member! Thank you to the team at Key Bridge Marriott for a great stay!

Pretty good hotel. Nice location, clean rooms, affordable price. The breakfast is great the parking is free with the room. The Wi-Fi sucks, our neighbors were throwing a party and the management didn't do anything about it until we called the third time, but other than that I really can't complain. I'd stay here again.

The Key Bridge Marriott Hotel was truly amazing. The atmosphere was phenomenal as soon as we walked through the front entrance. The hotel staff were very helpful for any questions or concerns we had about our stay here because we were from out of town. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever around in the area. A++

Very good service, no flight arrived at the 7am and arrive at the hotel at 9am, and a asi I got early check in.

Very nice helpful staff. The room was very nice. I slept well. The morning that I checked out I was under the weather with a cold and very horse I ordered my breakfast and the waiter could tell I wasn’t feeling well she was very helpful with recommending hot lemon tea with ginger that was in the menu. The food was good by the way. Overall it was just a nice experience!

Nice hotel but certainly dated. I'm not that tall but I still had to crouch to wash my hair in the shower. The main floor is well decorated but the beds in the rooms are rock hard. Parts of the Key Bridge Marriott are very nice others are noticeably below par. Good was pretty good in the lounge but I asked for no dairy and the food was cooked in butter. The whole hotel is a mix.

Recently remodeled and nicely furnished, but it won't be my first choice if I'm ever in the area again… There different are conventions, parties, and tour groups crowding public areas and charging loudly up and down the halls each day. And charging $22 for breakfast would make a lot more sense if it was something different and better than every other hotel's complimentary continental buffet!

The top floor ballroom/area has a great view. The garage is easy parking. My company has had events there for the past few years. The appetizers are always great. The lunch is usually lacklustre, but that not unexpected. Could also be the price point of my company. Clean and spacious. Staff is very attentive.

Fantastic views of the Potomac all the way down to the Washington Monument near Georgetown University and all the upscale shopping they have to offer and you can take a picture where they shot some scenes of The Exorcist. See photos. Walking distance from the Virginia side to the Maryland side is much quicker than trying to cross it by car. Find a safe place to park. I recommended Marriott especially if you're a guest there.

The staff at the hotel with one exception, were awesome. The woman answering the “at your service” call was impolite to the point of miserable. The room did not have hand soap nor did it have water glasses in the bathroom
Absolutely not worth the $300 per night they charge, Washington or no Washington. On the other hand, the rest of the staff was awesome, especially Nick in the lounge.

UPDATE: Christina D. From management called me and apologized for the error and fixed the charges. She was very courteous and helpful in finally resolving the issue. BEWARE of Fraudulent Charges and no help in resolving them. I have stayed there on two separate occasions over the past two weeks; the staff is helpful and friendly when you are present at the hotel. The location is great since its easy walk to Georgetown and the Metro. The reason I am giving one star is because on my last stay, they charged me two times for the last night I was staying. I tried calling during the weekend and the person I talked too did not understand what the issues was — despite my bill showing two hotel room charges for the same night. She told me to call back Monday since the person who handles billing did not work during the weekend. It is now Monday and I have called 5 times; every hour on the hour and left messages, it seems this person dies not work on Mondays either. I checked my credit card account this morning and I see that they charged me a again for the stay. So as of now, my room for that night originally cost $322 without taxes. I have been charged additionally $342 and $346 for that final night. $1010 before taxes has been charged to me for a night and no one at the Marriott seems to be able to help with this situation. Stay somewhere else, there is Holiday Inn right across the street.

Didn't actually stay here as a friend tried to forge a family/friend discount certificate expiration date. When the front desk couldn't validate his expired certificate, they never became accusatory or ride in any sense. They simply asked for a more current form and didn't even address the blatant forgery. Though I do not condone, nor did I support my friend's actions, I'm impressed by how the staff handled the situation. Kudos to them.

It's a decent place. I did not stay there I went there and said for a conference. The interesting thing about the ground for about some of the conference room space is always has a very weird musty smell. It's been this way for at least a couple of years. I have no idea why. Otherwise the place is perfectly fine. Although I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there.

Good hotel. Very reasonable rates, great service and rooms. Nice bar. A bit overkill on the air freshener (can actually taste the chemicals, which I do not like). But overall really good. Will stay again.

It's a Washington area hotel with Washington area prices. The building is aging (a bit un-gracefully), but it fulfill my needs. I'll admit that I'd like to see money spent on elevator repair. Great staff and great location.

Nice location, with walking trails and restaurants close by. The 3Y bus takes you from downtown to the driveway of the hotel or the metro stop is close by as well. The onsite restaurant is reasonably priced and the room was quiet and the bed comfortable.

Key bridge provided a professional and friendly staff for our event. The rooms were well maintained and they provide all requested equipment. They are quick to respond to our needs as well. It is always a positive experience at the Key Bridge Marriott.

Excellent bartenders! My fellow Marines and I had a large gathering there after a funeral at Arlington and they took great care of us and anything we needed. Definitely a place I will return on vacation to the D. C metro area.

Pros — The best part about this hotel are the beds. They are so comfortable we slept pretty much the whole time. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the White House so there are a lot of tourist areas. Cons — you have to pay 25 dollars per night for parking and the hotel is located in a downtown area so chancing a street parking might not be the best choice. There is no free breakfast and no cable movie channels in the rooms. This is a very basic hotel that markets itself as high end. Wouldn't stay there again.

I am staying in the Key Bridge Marriott now. I approached the General Manager, Brian Hilger, in the lobby this morning. I was unhappy about the shower curtain, which was plastic and unweighted and floats up on the air currents in my shower each morning. It sticks to you and there is no way to avoid it. I also told him that I hated the "aromatic wood" smell of the soap in the bathroom. It smells like burning incense. A scent I can appreciate, but don't want to wear. By the time I returned, the curtain was replaced with a different type of curtain, and I had two new bars of soap to choose from with mild scents. These two things are tiny and minor in the grand scheme of things, but are incredibly annoying in the moment. I really appreciate him going out of his way to fix these little things and not ignore them because they are small. I do hope that he will go one step further and review the other shower curtains. I don't think anyone likes touching that. Maybe he will also pass the word along to the powers that be that "aromatic wood" is a bit strong for some customers and maybe a more neutral scent would suit more people. Otherwise, the room is fine. The bed is comfortable and I love the Netflix on the TV. The TV is at a good angle for the desk or bed. Thank you very much for the kind gesture, Mr. Hilger. It was appreciated.

The hotel is an ideal location. The monuments and museum are all within a very close distance. The metro couldn't be any easier to access and the hotel is very clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent experience. Look forward to staying at the Key Bridge Marriott in the future!

We found a bug in our bed and they refused to offer us a partial refund or a free nights stay. The best part of my stay was the indoor pool and sauna. I will be staying elsewhere when I visit VA.

Great location, multiple restaurants in walking distance, the Metro is a 10 min walk. Georgetown is a walk across the Key bridge. Room was clean, pool was great indoor and outdoor combined together. Parking garage is attached to the hotel. Very kind and helpful staff, especially the concierge service. Wise Guy Pizza is a definite place to check out in the area and order pizza, no delivery though, we walked it back to the hotel. Would highly recommend this Marriot and it's location.

Beware. Horrible hotel. First off, we had several issues in the room. They sent someone up to fix them but I wouldn't expect to have to do that in an expensive room like this. The beds are hard and squeak with every small movement and there are no towel holders in The bathroom. The staff in the store next to the lobby were extremely rude. The restaurants are extremely overpriced ($15 For a basic burger) and the pool staff very rude. The only positive experience was the concierge lady and the staff that checked me in. I travel quite a bit for business and I've never had an experience like this but unfortunately it's a lot harder to change hotels with the family. I'm considering canceling the rest of my Marriott stays and going to another chain after this experience.

Great hotel. Room has a station where you can plug multiple devices in. Friendly staff. Great view of Georgetown, DC, and Rosslyn. Location can't be beat. I sincerely hope that this staple of the area remains open, instead of being closed within a year or two, as I heard on the news not long ago. I was saddened when they closed dining upstairs at The View.

This Marriott is in a decent location, but not in Prime condition. Could use a refresh of beds and furniture (at least the room that we were in). Also, please check make sure if you need a Rollaway bed that the room can actually physically accommodate the bed with the other furniture in the room. We were left stepping around the hideaway bed when in use and it was still very much in the way when not in use. 12 year old daughter was disappointed with the policy of no one under age 16 in the hot tub. This is the first hotel in years that there's even been a lifeguard at the pool area. Workout areas were musty on the first floor, then the basement weight room felt like a 1970s basement. Needs help. The Concierge lounge was a bright spot at the hotel, well stocked and great service folks.

This hotel served as a finishing point for a 24-hour bike ride my club hosted. The hotel was quite accommodating to our needs and was tolerant of the exhausted riders. We all had breakfast, which was quite good.

Bed was incredible, pillows comfy, but I found the walls to be incredibly thin, taking in all of the sounds of the shenanigans taking place in the hallways and adjoining rooms. The shower was slow to drain, but the provided toiletries were top notch. Wi-Fi is $13/night, which was frustrating. Check in and check out were a breeze, we were pleasantly greeted by every staff member that we passed. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but the few nagging issues kept this rating at a 3-star.

Pretty bad for its price. Not really clean and quite dated hotel itself, room was ok, I thought, till Ifind some hair in bath and then some half empty and dryed bottle from some soft drink under the mattress… They change the room, but it was qute unpleasant experience. Then I had to pay for parking… $22 for one night. And yea you still have to pay for Wi-Fi. Is it 2016 or what? And yea airplains passing just above your had like every 10 min. Mediocre breakfast for almost 20 bucks. P. S. Stuff was good!

Attended a work function on the 14th (top? ) floor. The apitizers and drinks before dinner were good. The large dining room had wonderful view and the dinner and service were great. The staff did a wonderful job.

I have stayed twice now at the Key Bridge Marriott since last spring since my son moved around the corner. Both times, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. The first time we arrived after 11pm to check in due to horrible holiday traffic. All we wanted to do is have a glass of wine after the drive and the bar was closed. We spoke to assistance manager who was there at the time and even though the bar was closed, she allowed us to buy a drink. I saw that everything was put away and the draw was counted. She didn't have to accomodate us, but she did. The second time we stayed, my daughter forget her boots in the room. I called the next day and they had found the boots and offered to mail them no charge! What hotel does that! I highly recommend the Key Bridge for the staff alone. It's close to the airport and a short metro ride to downtown Washington.

Awesome! My fiancé and I traveled Christmas day to spend a long weekend visiting Washington D. C. Katie K. Was at the front desk with a warm welcome to kick off what was to be the most gratifying trip all due to the staff at the Marriot. A birthday card was placed in our room, a rendition of happy birthday song by the staff in the restaurant, free tickets to the Ravens/Steelers game given to the staff by another guest who could not use them then given free to us upon learning I was a life long Steelers fan… I could go on and on but I think you get the point.

Excellent hotel but parking cost 22 dollars daily and Wi-Fi is not free.

For the name Marriott one would expect a little more. The place is old, poorly maintained and in desperate need of a substantial renovation. Staff are ok, pretty much in line with the Hotel. The pool is nicely located, but my children bitterly complained about their badly stinging eyes after swimming. The water was merky and probably not very well balanced. Breakfast was good but we had to wait at least 15 minutes for a table one morning. That is not a great start to a day. The "free" internet is only free in the lobby area, if you want to access Wi-Fi on your room it is chargeable — come on guys, really? Is only 12 bucks, I paid, but the signal was so weak, access was impossible. These days, that is really not necessary, neither the charging nor the poor signal. The price is sort of in line with what you get as long as you shop around and get one of the many online deals, but do not expect too much. It is not quite worthy of the Marriott name any more.

I travel to DC often I usually lodge at the Renaissance Washington DC. I opted to lodge here because of the Marine Corp Marathon rooms were scarce. I made the biggest mistake ever the hotel room was dark and dingy the color of the paint is depressing looks like a jail cell. The food I ordered from room service was terrible and overcooked. The best thing about the hotel is the bar in the lobby and I almost forgot the lady that cleaned my room was fantastic otherwise this hotel is a horrible choice!

The room was clean with updated bathroom. Beds were comfy though the pillows were ridiculously small. Not a real issue just seemed weird. Staff was very accommodating with the event we were there for with check in/out options and even bag holds (it was the marine corps Marathon so we couldn't take all our bags with us to the race if we checked out early) at no extra charge. Very close to the metro and easy to drive to.

This was the worst hotel experience possible. First we had to wait 3 hours after the check in time in order to get a room. They did not offer any consolation in terms of an interim room to let us use for the time, even though we had two toddlers in a car for 6 hours, which we reminded them of as we were asking about our room. Instead we had to wait in the lobby. The pool was closed due to an accident that occurred there and was being emptied and clean (so good thing to know they do keep it clean I guess? ) in addition upon check out they charged the wrong credit card (one of my aunt who was in the same room block). It has now taken over a month to even talk to a person about it. They have directed me to accounting but have never received a call back. Even after having to send in a credit card authorization form via email, and getting no response. When I call the front desk they immediately transfer to Accounting which automatically goes to a voicemail that has never been returned. HOrrible customer service, horrible conflict resolution.

Horrible customer service! We asked for a cot to be brought up at 6pm to our room, it never came then at 10pm we called again saying we needed the extra bed, still never came, by 12 we still had to bed and had to go to the lobby and they said they would bring on up but it took another hour. Then the next morning we ordered breakfast roomservice at 7am and it didn't come until 10am once we were walking out the door to leave!

One of my favorite places to stay. Close to Georgetown and my home office in Arlington. First time in 30 years of traveling, problem with Marriott Reservation. Vidi took care of it. Excellent employee. Also another hard working employee in concerige is Angela. Rooms have been upgraded as well as the entire hotel with the exception of the pool and health club. Great place. Free Wifi in lobby and not in my room is my only wish for improvement.

Like others have said, it's just a cheap hotel with a big name. For having paid as much as I have for a room, you'd think that at least I'd be allowed free Wi-Fi. But no, $13 a night. Parking is $20, which is ridiculous. Room is dirty, I've seen better at Motels that charge $30 a night. The Restaurant is extremely expensive and not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone…

Wi-Fi ONLY free n the lobby… $20.00 a day parking … WTF?

Worst Marriott hotel ever booked. Room is smaller than other Marriott I stayed, never see smiles on stuff's face and had a dispute over parking. I booked the hotel for my parents, after dropped them off, the front desk guy told me I can park at the garage. The parking garage shows it is free of charge for 20 minutes parking, so I left within 20 minutes. For the second night, I didn't even enter the garage. When I got the bill, I was charged 19 dollars for EACH night parking. However, that was not the worst thing. I made several calls, the first lady simply told me they charge EVERY guest 19 dollars for parking! She made me thought I am an idiot. The second gentleman provided more information and explained when I entered the garage, there is a flat rate of 19 dollars for each night. This obviously contradicts with the price indicated at the entrance of the garage, not to mention I didn't go to the garage for the second night. He forwarded my call to audit department but there is no answer. I liked Marriott very much and I even bought a pillow from one Marriott hotel. But the experience with this Marriott ruins everything. I can't believe that Marriott has such a buggy system which charges parking for every night when enters the garage once. Special thanks goes to the lady who told me they charge every guest 19 dollars for parking no matter whether the guest has a car or not.

Rooms could be updated, however the hotel has some of the best views of the dc skyline, easily to get to just steps from the rosslyn metro stop and easy to walk to Georgetown.

Have stayed here many times and have had great experiences with the hotel and staff. It is currently being updated, and it needed it. The rooms are not big, but the customer service and rates and location make it a great option.

Wonderful Location, Great Service and Magnificent View This Key Bridge Marriott is very close to Key Bridge and also not too far away from Rosslyn Metro Station so that you can be anywhere in DC area in no time by using their well-designed Metro System. Check in was nice and smooth. Ms. G. E. Gave us a very nice high floor room with a wonderful view overlooking the beautiful Potomac River, Georg town, and DC (Washington monument, Jefferson memorial and Lincoln memorial, etc. — — — —). We so enjoyed took a stroll down the beautiful Key Bridge and to walk around the busy Georgetown. The room was nice and comfortable. It seemed to be a very typical Marriott décor and some updated features such as a large flat panel TV. Nice heated indoor heated swinging pool and spa with someone on duty but we did not get a chance to use it this time-maybe next time. We like this Marriott very much and would like to recommend it to be a great base touring DC area. Room Tip: Higher floor rooms facing Washington Monument have better view. Stayed April 2013, traveled as a couple.

Worst hotel experience ever! I checked in to a room at 10PM at night. The heating/AC unit did not work properly. Cooling system did not work and only hot air coming out. It felt like 85F+ in the room. I complaint and couldn't fix it. I had to move to another room. At 7AM in the morning, the constant knocking/hammering sound woke me up. I called front desk and found out that they have remodeling crew working from 7AM to 7PM. I request to move to another room and they told me they don't have any room available to move me. I called again minutes later and they agreed to move me to another room. It is as noisy as the other one.

We got this hotel through priceline so we didn't pay anywhere near the 199 per night price. With that being said the hotel was older but clean. Rooms where dated but clean. Parking garage was a bit pricey at 20 per night but the location to the metro and views of downtown made it well worth it.

This hotel was much more affordable than any of the surrounding hotels, and was excellent in every way. The rooms are plenty big for a tourist stay, it's three blocks from a Metro Station in a good neighborhood that I felt comfortable walking around at night, the Metro ride to the National Mall is under ten minutes with no transfers and the ride to the airport is about fifteen minutes with no transfers, the buffet breakfast had a large variety of choices for our group of four with miscellaneous dietary restrictions (one person with gluten sensitivity, one person with dairy sensitivity, one diabetic). We had a wonderful time, and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was o. K. note, they desperatly need a renovation and there are many much better hotels in the area. Room was clean, beds were comfortable.

Nice Staff. Aged hotel, below Marriott standards. Bugs in the room. I was on the 7th floor with both ants and 1 small cockroach. Location is great. But the hotel rooms need a complete overhaul. Expensive for the level of room quality.

This is the by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The customer service sucks. I booked a single king bed, and requested them a small refrigerator before arriving. They promised me it will be in the room before arrival. However, when we arrived, they gave us double queen bedroom. The heater vent was broken and was hanging and the refrigerator was not there. I called the front desk, and she replied saying it will be provided by night and they can’t do anything about it. There is no microwave in the rooms, looks like they want everyone to eat at the bar cum restaurant they have in lobby. While checking in, the front desk person said we could park the car until 5 pm (they have paid parking $19 for 24 hours) and next day they say you have to take out the car by 12 pm. That was ridiculous. There is no free internet; you need to come to lobby searching free internet. You will have to pay $13 for internet if you want to use in the room. Well now a days you have free internet in every small hotel. Overall, I would strongly not recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst hotel ever.

Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay last weekend. We usually stay at another hotel in this area but decided to trust the Marriott name and try it. We booked a king room and arrived at the hotel around 8pm to be told that they did not have any kings available. They insisted that their king rooms were completely booked for the night even with an advance reservation. The only rooms available were on first floor and doubles. (we were already wishing we had booked somewhere else) We went to our tiny room with two double beds and were not impressed. The room looked very outdated, small bathroom, and a "sealed" door to the outside. The room was sweltering hot even with the thermostat turned down to 60. Turns out it was actually blowing out hot air. Which did not help the horrible smell in the room. Our room obviously was not properly cleaned as there was white powder on the nightstand with someone’s bobby pins. We went to the front desk and requested a new room. We were given another double room a few doors down that looked exactly the same but at least it was a little cooler. A few issues with this room were that it felt cold when we first got in there but during the night the room again became unbearably hot. Our room was still on the first floor of the building and on the side of the building where busses park and drive by so it was very noisy at all times especially early in the morning.
