I know you've heard many Rumors about this specific Hotel, but I'm here to tell you as a witness don't take in everything you hear and judge. This hotel is Actually pretty cool. They not a 5start hotel, but they treat you as so. Rooms are decent, have clean towels and bed sheets. Much cheaper if your staying for longer than a couple days. And a Good place to come to when you want to see the fire works. We actually sat on the Roof and looked across the street while looking at the fireworks. Dont have to worry about driving cause everything is rite Near you. I would say do not eat from valentino's italian restaurant. Best part of the diamond inn its a professional single a division baseball team flying squirrels directly across the street and have easy access to walk around the city.

It was a great expierence but I just look at my checking account and I checked out almost a month ago and they are taking out a charge for them that the forgot today. I find it highly ridiculous. They should of have token all the money out at once. Messing up my account.

You get what you pay for sometimes it seems like I'm at home with the noisy neighbors over top of me smh.

This place has cleaned up a lot since the new owners took over. They are still remodeling some rooms. The people are super polite and curious.

Not friendly, Left us dirty towels, not very clean and doors sound awful every time you open them. They are all about money but are not worth the cost. Won't be going back.

For the price and location it's an ok place if you need a place to rest your head while visiting Richmond. Not the best, but not as bad as expected. Bring own shampoo though, it is not provided!

There was a huge blood stain on the sheets, people standing outside trying to sell you drugs, didn't feel safe… A total waste of my money, and I'm never going back!

Enjoy staying at the Diamond over their sister hotel up the street Clarion by Choice hotel chain the Diamond is older then the Clarion but the service is better and the rooms are cleaner at the Diamond over their sister hotel up the street Clarion is dirtier but newer and they will not admit they charged my credit Debit 67.00 plus dollars the same nite I was booked and paid 50.00 dollars at the Diamond so my one in Richmond, Va. Cost me 117. Plus dollars for a one nite stay at Diamond. This really suxs as I'm disabled and live on a fixed income.

I Stayed there over the week of Valentine's and I've never seen a bed bug until then it's disgusting and someone should call health department it's very unsanitary.

This is the nasty place I ever stayed at. I've been in two rooms do far. Each room has something wrong with them. Im clothes now have bed bugs smh. They only gave me 1.75 to dry them. Very unprofessional. Dirty. I had to buy killing supplies just to feel comfortable. Bleached the room down n still didn't feel comfortable. I will be reporting this place because they know that there rooms have bugs and they choose to still rent the rooms out it has to be something that can be done. Please don't waste your time they are soooo nasty n infested.

Diamond inn &suites is very disrespectful they don't no how to talk to America people and they are to hi on there rooms they don't clean there rooms good Diamond inn &suites need to be shut down no they don't get a five star from me.

I didn't stay there but a friend stay there and kicked person out of her room due to not having funds to pay for another night at that moment.

My fav hotel. Lov the staff. Would like elevator to work.

I had to move the microwave cause the cord wasn't long enough to reach the outlet. Underneath it was chore, half smoked cigarettes and plenty of dust that I could have written my name. There was no extra roll of toilet paper.

It was reall clean considering the price. My room was nice enough for my comfort.

Hotel a/c did not work Wi-Fi worked on certain areas of the building and the 1st room they checked me into had bed bugs do not waste your money ppl.

Familiar with location via work with a homeless young woman new to Richmond. And it extremely noisy area of town with Interstate 95 out the back door. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Not a particularly safe area. Keep going.

Stayed one night. Checked in late and left early. Room was clean. Check in was painless. I'll stay there again.

No Stars Bed bug city When I woke on my last day in town I noticed that my face was swollen. I was bitten. The front desk rep didnt care.

You get what you pay for. $50 a night? Yes it's too good to be true. Window to my room had broken glass. Big cigarette hole burnt through the comforter. Long strands of hair in the bathtub. Multiple stains on the couches. I felt dirty. It's not well kept. I am thankful that we didn't encounter bugs but I didn't chance it. Left all my clothes in the car, and washed everything the next day.

Stayed for 2 weeks, great service, friendly staff and comfortable bed. Decently priced weekly rates, and very clean.

Kinda sketchy looking on the outside. The room was clean but well out dated.

Excellent motel & improved rooms with new amenities. Young boy at front desk checked in me quickly. Excellent customer follow-up service. He was friendly and smiled when I checked-in. Comparing other motels in richmond to this motel, is affordable for person who spend good time here. I really appreciate front desk staff.

During my stay with diamond inn & suits, I enjoyed my days, At registration desk, young male staff working in morning was excellent in personality and help me out for Richmond direction. Being a new in Richmond, he came out with good help. Room was so clean.

Beds were small and wobbled. No hair dryer or breakfast. Noisy during the night.

Terrible terrible terrible! They have bed bugs and roaches in the phones and microwave! The worse part of all that the tall Indian guy at the desk is very rude and racist towards any people other than Indian people, all they care about is your money! I would advice anyone not to stay here, well you can stay if you like getting eaten by bugs while you are trying to sleep.

The room was surprisingly nice for the price, and the somewhat shady atmosphere. I wouldn't want to hang out outside at night, but it's perfect as a place to crash.

Very run down looking and there's no service to speak of. It also looks like the kind of hotel that harbors nefarious types. I would also recommend you bring your own sheets, as I'm sure mine hadn't been washed.

Stayed for one night, not my favorite place to have stayed, floors were weirdly sticky, but overall staff was pleasant. You get what you pay for.

Very dangerous, trashy vibe. Was solicited for sex in the parking lot in broad daylight… while holding a baby.

Good food. Excellent service which you can hardly find anywhere in SF.
