Stayed here last night (August 20, 2018) and was pleasantly surprised. I booked through Expedia and accidentally chose smoking but the lady at the front desk was so gracious and worked around the system to get us non-smoking rooms. She’s a life saver! I wish I remembered her name. If it wasn’t for her, our night would have turned out a lot differently… The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, the AC worked perfectly and the shower was great too. Honestly, I have no complaints. It’s a nice place to spend the night and super affordable. I was so tired and had a great rest. I’m so happy we ended up here :)

Staff was very nice, but will NEVER stay there again. No carpet, floor looked clean but must’ve been dirty because our feet and socks were black after taking off shoes. Double beds were too small queen would’ve been much better. I was up all night because it was so loud until almost 4 am! With floors and no carpet when someone dropped something on the upper floor it was incredibly loud! I am completely exhausted and after being in the car for close to 10 hours, I just wanted to get a good nights sleep. No chance of that happening there. People were hanging outside talking and laughing all night long. I spent all night wishing the morning would come. It wasn’t that cheap either.

Nice room, right off the highway, front check-in staff very friendly.

Front desk was really nice they were getting completely remodeled rooms when we were staying close down the hotel when we left and broaden all brand new furniture carpeting beds you're getting the newest stuff and they had a great price.

I have lately become a real fan of Red Roof Inns, and Fredericksburg is just another example that this hotel chain is so underrated, and great value. Our king room was clean with wood laminate floors, which I loved because I know they are so much cleaner than carpet. We had a nice sized fridge, and the TV was fine. The free Wi-Fi was of adequate speed. The sink was undermounted in granite. The toilet was a newer power flush. The shower was nice, very clean, with no signs of mildew. All the lights worked, with adequate plugs. Our room had a full length mirror and a vanity mirror. They offered coffee, yogurt and muffins for breakfast. The only negative thing I can say is the couch was as hard as a rock! But we paid $53.95 for this great room within walking distance to a great mexican restaurant, Hooters and a Weiss food market. You just can’t beat that!

Not bad. I was a little sketched out by the other people staying there. The staff was nice. The room wasn't the greatest but hey for the price it was hard to beat.

This was our first time staying here and it was fine. The staff member at check in was very friendly and we spoke for several minutes which always makes me feel a little better when staying somewhere new. We had no issues with the room, it was clean and quiet. We met some other people in the morning who were staying next to us, a nice older couple and we spoke about our travels which is nice, we don't often have that. We will stay here again when in the area, the location was good and the property was satisfactory.

Nice place to stay clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. A good place to stay and is pet friendly and while we were there over half of the rooms were rented for a dog show and unless you new they were there you wouldn't have known. Great price will stay there again.

We stayed at a ton of hotels waiting for our house to close, it was important to spend as little as possible while providing a level of comfort and security for my two toddlers. We found this place after about a month of hotel hopping, it was the day before we closed. I wish we had found it sooner. This hotel was the best value for the price. We felt safe and comfortable, unlike other places in the same price point. Hard wood (maybe linoleum? ) floor instead of carpet provided a confident cleanliness. The only odd thing was a sign encouraging patrons to tip the housekeeping staff.

If you're looking for clean don't stay here. Terrible hospitality as well. Rooms look great, renovated, hardwood floors — decent looking upon entering. Pulled back the sheets — housekeeper too lazy to change them (Mary & tonya's names on the envelope they expected a tip to be placed in). Pubic hairs, DEAD SKIN, and black hair — I have none of those things. Also black footprints in shower I was able to scrub a bit off… Called to complain, No sorry… but you can come grab a pair of fresh sheets if you walk to the lobby far away. I mean $80 isn't a whole lot to spend just driving south but… clean sheets are a must — maybe an apology? BAD customer service. Never again and I'll spread the word. :)

Great room, breakfast was limited to bagels and mini muffins but was a good price for the night (in a decent condition).

Rates too high for poor rooms. Awful sheets and room was not cooled before our arrival. Took forever to cool down.

For not being a luxury inn, accommodations were beyond satisfactory in a spacious room that included all the amenities I would ever require. The price was right, but the bonus was Mrs Ann Walton. She was down to earth friendly and truly generous when she sent me off on my journey with two hands full of muffins and a juice. Definitely southern hospitality for a quaint place. Would go back.

Great overnight stay it is a basic hotel get your rest and travel on. I would stay there again.

Room had a nasty smell as body odor, I had to go to walmart to get a spray and t be able to sleep.

Stayed in a nice King bed. Shower and vanity were clean and modern. Mattress as pillows were clean and super comfortable. Cable TV and refrigerator were there. Breakfast had no fruit. It only included bagel, muffins, coffee, tea, and juices. We forgot a toothbrush but they provided one for free. The biggest flaw was the room temperature. AC was not running so it was like 85 degrees. Took quite a while to cool the room down.

Not a bad place. Pet friendly, cheap (less than $100 for two beds and one pet), mostly clean. The ceiling had some signs of water damage, the lamps were dusty and had dead bugs on them, and the TV started not plugged in. But the bed was soft and clean, and you're in a safe area. Overall, average experience for when you just need a roof over your head and a bed under your back.

Stayed here April 26, 2017 and it was better then I expected. The room was clean and quiet. My husband and I were in a Standard King Room and it was very comfortable. Great shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. For the price, which was extremely reasonable, I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

This will be closing soon. It will become a Raceway gas station.

There's nothing good about this hotel everything online is untrue there is no pool there is no gym there is no meeting rooms there is no restaurant there is no lounge there is never ever anyone at the front desk when yo walk in.

There is ALOT OF POLICE ACTIVITY AND PROSTUTION THERE! Checked into the hotel and went threw 4 rooms before we found one that was clean! Stay away from this NASTY PLACE.

Please do not visit until they renovate it. Waste.

I'd give it less stars if I could! This is one of the worse hotels I've ever stayed at. I paid extra for a room with a king bed and a fold out sofa. When I got there I listened to the woman ahead of me get angry because they gave away her room even after she called the day before to ensure they would reserve her room. Then when I got to the counter she asked how many people (told then when I booked fyi) when I said 4 she asked if I wanted to switch to a double bed room. After I explained that I wanted the room I already paid for because I paid extra. She said she wasn't sure that she had sheets for the sofa bed. Her solution of course was for use to downgrade our room. How do you not have enough sheets? She made ME go see if there were sheets on the bed. Later I realized that we needed a blanket and two pillows. First she told me that it wasn't possible to get then because she didn't have any. After pretty much flipping out in front of 4 other customers abd her telling me for 5 minutes that she didn't have a solution our a manager she could call she called house keeping and low and behold two pillows and a blanket. She still insisted that no manager was available to speak to until the next morning. As we are still here I'm not sure what management will say tomorrow morning but I have a list! The noon smoking room smells like smoke, some of the worse customer service I've ever had, the pool is "out for maintenance", no pillows, no blankets, and giving rooms away.
