Lovely, clean rooms, quiet, loved the patio and the amazing view from our room. Hans, the owner, is delightful and helpful. Fabulous restaurant adjacent.

Fabulous hotel! We spent a week in Zion area and I have nothing but fabulous things to say about this hotel. We loved our view of the mountains. Every morning and evening we would gaze out and see many mule deer grazing on the grass below us. At night there were millions of stars in view. We even had gorgeous views of the Milky Way. We loved hearing the river from our balcony too. Thank you to the staff who were so hospitable! Highly recommend!

We had a delicious dinner at Knight's Landing located at the hotel. Also appreciated the guest laundry. Reasonable rates compared to others at Zion.

Super expensive! plus its $20.00 extra a day for room service! I thought only Las Vegas did that kind of stuff. Not really worth all the rules they give you that you cannot do. Cute rooms and ok customer service. Nice views on the cute patio. Not worth what we paid though.

Beautiful property with Virgin River access, rooms are very comfortable and upscale lodge type decor. Staff is very friendly and easy going. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. We reserved a room in their Patriahs building (king size bed, patio with canyon view) and it was totally worth the extra money from a regular room. We also ate at their restaurant the second night. It was kinda annoying that we couldn't make a reservation ahead of time but the food was excellent. We would come back again.

The front desk was very efficient and make the whole experience easy. Instructions on checkout and returning of keys are very clear (there was a box for key drop off for customers that needed check out before front desk hours). The room is very clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable too. Overall Driftwood Lodge has provided me with a really good experience. The price is reasonable as well.

We were a family of four (kids age 8 and 10) Great spot towards the edge of Springdale, convenient even by foot to most of the shops and restaurants, but a short drive to Zion national park. Rooms are spacious with fridges. Our balcony had great views of the pool and mountains which was particularly enjoyable at sunset. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Wife found the staff a tad grumpy at check in but no major dramas. Allocated parking requires a tag which you have to hand in at check out. It was August and the park was very busy, leave early to get a parking slot at the park visitors centre.

Great for place to stay in Springdale. It is not in the centre of town which is a good thing and the accommodation is modern fresh and clean. The pool is a winner — super clean and well thought out and perfect for the heat. The views from the lodges are stunning — we saw a double rainbow over the mountains and had a deer eat outside our lodge! We did not see the management but did not need to and breakfast vouchers for Oscars in town worked well. Very good for families. It is worth noting that the free shuttle goes from right outside the hotel into town.

The Driftwood Lodge is a great place to stay. Booking through them was easy, and they were accommodating to my travel plan adjustments. It is close to Zion National Park and the places nearby. The room was spectacular! The patio looked out to the park which made for a great view in the evening as the sun set. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to others!

We love staying at Driftwood! Comfortable, clean, modern rooms. Friendly, helpful, kind staff. Took a nice dip in the swimming pool and hot tub! Relaxing and much needed vacation spot!

Had a great dinner there outside very good reasonable food. It also looks as if there are 8 or 10 different two story rooms you can stay in with trees every where an outside pool and it's all right off the main road maybe a mile before the GATE to Zion National park.

Visiting Mid-May. Excellent location, friendly desk staff, room was very clean. I'm surprised the place isn't fully booked.

Rooms are very clean with comfortable bed. Kitchen and bathroom are good sized. We stayed in the Court of atge Patriarchs and had a great view out the back door and windows. Convenient location, walkable to restaurants in Springdale, and even the park. It is also on the bus line with free shuttle service to town and the park if the walk is too far.

Gorgeous hotel, absolutely loved it. Big rooms, very clean & friendly staff. Can't wait to come back!

This place became the best part of our spring break vacation. We stayed here 3 beautiful nights and now for sure we will come back for a longer stay. The rooms — new, clean, just great. We did upgrade for the new building with the BEST view! The owner told me it would be worth every penny and he was right! For only about $20 more a night! The staff was super helpful and friendly — highly recommend to come and stay. The location is nice good parking super nice restaurant (King’s Landing — the best dinner we had) attached to the front office. Pool and hot tub.

Nice hotel. The rooms are spacious. There is a warm pool and Jacuzzi on site.

The room is big and clean! The tub is a little small though (when you tried to relaxed after a day of hiking). The staff are really kind. And King's Landing Bistro is totally worth trying.

This place was amazing! It was very luxurious. Everything you could possibly want in a room was there. Everything felt clean. The view from the room wad amazing! In the mornings and evenings we could watch the Sun rise and set around the mountains. Each day we returned after a long day of hiking this was the perfect place to cleanup and relax. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Zion park.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Hot tub not running as stated. Tv was not working with a black screen but sound was playing. No one was available to field our phone calls about these issues.

Stayed here two nights while in Zion NP. Location was good, close to the park and a short drive to any of the touristy restaurants. The rooms were clean, smelled good, had hot water and little shampoo and conditioner and bar soap. Mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Cups and mugs and tissues. Room was cleaned while we were gone for the day. Minimal interaction with the staff. Front desk was friendly. Pool and hot tub were closed during winter. Working ac/heater. I think checkout was at 11am but we left well before to enjoy the park. Can't complain, it was a good stay.

Even though they did not have a breakfast at the lodge they provided meal vouchers for restaurants in the area which were very good. Pillows were a little tough but good overall for the price.

I stayed in room 205 (the narrows). We had a king sized bed. We left a do not disturb sign out everyday but the hotel was nice enough to leave towels and other things in a big bag outside our door so we'd have fresh towels everyday.

Friendly and polite service, great food (got a gourmet burger with bacon and avocado added) and a nice modern cocktail (but they have classics, wine and beer too)

Fantastic room with an amazing view… really clean, spacious and well laid out. The only drawback to the room was that it didn’t have a sink outside the bathroom… which created some issues when getting ready in the morning. Otherwise it was perfect! Make sure you book a reservation at the restaurant on site. It blew our minds how good it was.

Room service never came to make our room or bring the iron we had asked them to bring before we left on our day long hike in the morning. Not really nice to come back in the evening, after a tiring day, to find your room not made, ESPECIALLY when you paid $259/night for your room! When we stopped by the reception to let them know, the employee didn't apologize and just said "well my computer says the iron was brought to your room and that you asked for no room service". When we told her no, there's no iron in our room and we never ask for no room service, she didn't apologize and insisted that that's what it said on her computer. She was rather rude. The next day, we talked to the manager, who apologized, and gave us a $20 discount on our 2-night stay. I thought that was pretty weak… I would give them zero stars, but because the bed and pillows were excellent, I'll give them 1 star. But that was the only thing that was impressive in our room — well, that and the view (if you looked up at the mountains, because the hotel grounds in this area were not landscaped, it was just dirt). Also, the room was clean. Very expensive for an average hotel. Average because there's nothing special about it other than the view and the bed. No breakfast, no spa, no extras… I was expecting more for the price we paid. Without the room service incident, I'd give them 3 stars max. It feels more like a $170/night hotel.

An unexpected surprise. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a patio outside the back door. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely stay there again.

The Driftwood Lodge was the perfect place to stay for my four day adventure in Zion National Park. The hotel was extremely clean and it was very convenient to have a microwave and refrigerator for quick breakfasts and lunches. I was blown away by how comfortable the bed was. The hotel is also very close to several good restaurants and the town center. Thanks for a lovely stay!

First the good: our room was very new and clean and the beds were comfortable as well. The view from our balcony was amazing and made you watch to sit out and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. And now the bad: we had a bottom floor and it was extremely loud. The people above us weren't partying or doing anything crazy but you could hear each and every footstep they made. The bathroom was nice with the separate shower and tub but the tub was small so if you're picturing soaking sore muscles while sharing a tub it's not going to happen.

Friendly staff and wonderful property. Rooms are clean, great views and very comfortable. The Watchman has rooms with a sitting area and a wonderful balcony that overlooks pasture then the beautiful rock mountains. I would stay here again.

Great room, so much space, clean, smart and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We needed to check in late (after the front desk was closed) and it was made so smooth and easy for us which was such a relief after arriving at 2am exhausted! Nice view from the room too :-)

We stayed here this past June. The room was comfortable and our balcony faced the park. You could take a bus to the park and the bus stop is located right by the hotel. If you are a coffee drinker, you can enjoy your coffee with a nice view of the park. They also have a pool and jacuzzi.

Nice clean space. We removed 1 star for the super loud rain gutter drain just outside our door. But all the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Amazing views in a great location for accessing Zion National Park.

This was a beautiful location with great views of towering sandstone cliffs. Room service did a great job, clean sheets every night. We had a big balcony facing the pool and Zion National Park. The staff was incredible and friendly. It also has a really conveniently located shuttle to Zion and Springdale Center. We didn't need to drive at all once we got in. There is a restaurant on location with delicious food as well. No complaints, only positive vibes from our stay.

We choose a "signature" room knowing it would be expensive, but we wanted a great room. The room was pretty awesome in terms of views of the canyon, it gets five stars. There were two downsides to the room which brought the rating down: The ventilation system moves air from another unit into ours. This means when the other room cooked food in their room, we got to share the olfactory experience, not really what we wanted for a $180 per night room. Second issue: the hot water ran out. I consider having hot water a pretty key item for a high end room, however the front desk staff gave us a simple: "we will look into it". Response to my complaint. Hence two stars.

Great location only a five minute drive from the park entrance. Rooms were clean and had a wonderful balcony looking onto the mountains. Staff was friendly as were the rest of the locals outside the park. A great place to stay for a night of recharging your batteries before exploring beautiful Zion National Park.

Driftwood is in a wonderful location, and the amenities and services reflect that. Our king suite was furnished well and clean, the views out all of the windows were wonderful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a dinner-only restaurant attached, but there are plenty of good (and affordable! ) restaurants in the town. If you want to stay right outside the park, Driftwood Lodge is an excellent choice.

Like me if you are unsure of this place and are considering a branded name for your stay, stop. We were upgraded to King Suite and loved every minute of our stay here. Note that almost all hotels at Zion have a beautiful view of the mountains.

Great lodging with nicely manicured landscaping. The shuttle pickup to Zion is a few steps away, or if you drive to the park, it's not far. Friendly office. We don't get our room cleaned daily (by choice) but housekeeping left fresh towels and toiletries for us at the door. There's a pool, laundry room, ice machines, and restaurant (which we haven't tried yet… still at the lodge for the rest of the week).

Friendly, helpful staff greeted us and made our check-in very easy. Our room was perfectly accessible, and once in it we were very impressed with the size and accommodations. The back door opened onto a gigantic lawn with an incredible view of the mountainside. The living room and bedroom are each equipped with a TV and DirecTV (in case you care while you're at the entrance to Zion), and there's a microwave and mini-fridge (with tiny freezer compartment). About the only complaint is the odd bathroom layout where shower and toilet are in their own room, and the sink is in the bedroom and shared with the kitchen. Presents some awkward privacy concerns and movement between. Shower curtain was mounted too high as well, making it hard to keep in the tub. Also, electrical outlets are few and far between except on one side of the bed, and lighting is very dim in most fixtures. But those are nitpicks. Overall, service is great. They even leave you a goodie bag of everything they would have replenished in your hotel if you hadn't left the DND sign up. Really thoughtful. Laundry facilities on-site as well, with two coin-op washers and dryers next to the ice machine and outdoor pool.

We recently stayed 4 nights here as our jumping off point for Zion and Bryce Canyon. We reserved a pet friendly room, and it exceeded our expectations. Very well appointed, and we had a back patio that was large, partially fenced and had amazing views of the spectacular mountains in Zion. The staff was professional and friendly. The room rate was very reasonable, especially considering it was Memorial Day week. The restaurant, King's Landing Bistro, was icing on the cake (check out my separate review). Will definitely stay here again!

Good: clean, comfortable, nice decor, good service, pet friendly, good prices considering the location, attached to the excellent "King's Landing Bistro" which you really should visit if you stay here. Bad: Internet is slow, but stable (5mbit down, ~512kbps up). You can try to upload your photos here, but it'll take all night if you're successful at all (I was not, as the connection timed out during the night).

Probably one of the better places to stay at while exploring Zion park. The room we stayed at was spacious and included a small bedroom, shower and a living area with a lovely balcony facing gorgeous views. The bed is super comfortable and the staff were nice and helpful. The hotel is just a 5 minute ride from the park entrance but as parking is limited in the park you can use the Springdale shuttle to get there. Highly recommended.

Great view, nice patio with chairs. Unfortunately we were right next to the pool. Also, sadly, kids were running up and down the hall right outside our room. However, this is not the hotels fault. Room was pretty nice. Had all the usual amenities and bed was comfy. Would recommend.

We stayed in a gorgeous spacious room in Court of Patriarchs. Great bed and good pillows, huge bathroom with separate tub and fantastic shower. 180° view. Good Keurig coffee. We couldn't have been happier.

Be careful if you meet the girl whose hair looks like she stopped her Brittany spears meltdown half way through, she is very very rude. Honey your not important nor is your job. Other than that nice place.

Great room obviously, but the staff was rude at the front desk. Only had a few simple questions and they acted like it was the end of the world. In my opinion for the cost and clear availability of other beautiful hotels, I want be returning to this one!

Great value for money lodge. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids, and really enjoyed our beautiful room with majestic views of Zion canyon. The rooms in the "Court of the Patriarchs" are highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights in April and loved it. We had a king bed in a spacious room over looking the pool with great views of the surrounding Zion Canyon walls from our deck. Very nice furnishings, very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. I'm usually bothered by the sound of the fridge compressor kicking in throughout the night but our fridge was inside a small closet and with the door closed the sound did not bother me.

My wife and I stayed here May 29th 2011 with our dog Karma. One of the best pet friendly hotels I have stayed in. Big room. Back door opens to a nice lawn area for the dog. I thought the price was high. But what do you do? You are in a tourist trap. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the A/C was cold. I recommend the Doggie dude ranch to watch your dog while you go hiking in the park.
