A good, thorough cleaning between guests! They said they did, but the item found under the bed, and the item in the bathroom proved they didn't follow the cleaning guidelines. During this Covid time, these items should have been noticed. The pool table was filthy. Such a disappointment.

Had a wonderful anniversary trip here at Castle Creek Inn! I have nothing but great things to say about them, Michelle and her staff were incredibly helpful and kind.

The owners and staff are amazing. The atmosphere and rooms are great too.

Beautifully decorated rooms, lovely breakfast in the mornings, and great add-ons for your room. We stayed here the night of our wedding, and chose to stay here for our one year anniversary last weekend. It was amazing!

We LOVE Castle Creek. It’s quiet, fun and interesting. It’s tucked away in a quiet space. The staff is friendly.

We stayed for our 15th wedding anniversary. What an awesome room (Romeo and Juliet) the breakfast was made fresh and we had great service from check in to breakfast.

The breakfast was delicious even though coffee was hard to come by. They have a good selection of tea.

My husband and I stayed in the King's Lodge and it was great! We really enjoyed the pool table, jacuzzi tub and the large selection of movies they had available. The room was well stocked with towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner. They also had a snack bar and complimentary beverages available all night. The staff were very friendly as well. Castle Creek Inn is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a simple, quiet getaway. We'll definitely be coming back!

Castle Creek Inn is awesome! They truly care about their customers and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into their rooms and their customers experience. My husband and I booked a room recently for our 10th Anniversary. The night before our scheduled stay, our son came down with the stomach flu. I was completely devastated. My husband talked to them the next morning and explained our situation fully expecting to lose out on our money for the room. They were so kind and accommodating and let us reschedule for a later date. This place is very special to me as it was where my husband and I stayed on our wedding night ten years ago. We've stayed a few times since then and it was always an enjoyable experience. Love, love, love this place!

This is the perfect place to spend your anniversary or a fun little get away. Well worth the money! The rooms are amazing and the extra packages that you can add are worth it! Breakfast was amazing the next morning and it was even homemade! My wife and I will definitely be going back here again some time and will definitely share this little secret with our friends!

My parents stayed in the Versailles room. It was beautiful and the grounds are really fun. The service is incredible. We visited and the owners daughter is the manager, she gave us the history of the location and let us look around. Highly recommended.

Celebrated our anniversary here and couldn't ask for a better experience. The place is awesome, the breakfast was great and the staff was so friendly and accomodating! Hope to stay here in the future!

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at this cute place. Very romantic and professional. The manager took great care of us and breakfast was great! So much better than the little bite other places give you. We will definitely come back!

This was a truly magical experience for my wife and I. The rooms, the ambience, and the hospitality of the hosts made this a perfect one night get away for my wife and I. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room, and the huge jet tub is amazing! We loved the gorgeous garden in the back, with a little creek, and a large, beautiful deck to enjoy the sounds of the creek. We couldn't believe we were still in the city, the Castle Creek inn really transported us to a romantic paradise.

A night away just around the corner! Clean, beautiful room, balcony with a picturesque view of the backyard and the creek running through. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock! (and I'm a light sleeper) Delicious delicious breakfast. The best!

We loved your stay here. The room was nicely themed. Had everything we needed. The free snack and drinks were nice. Breakfast was delicious. The only possible complaint would be that the fire place in our basement room didn't work. There was a nice blanket to keep us warm though. I am sure they could have fixed it quickly if I had asked. Overall a great visit.

Lovely romantic get away that feels like you've gotten away but is still local. Our room was great! Our particular room I feel was a touch on the small side, but that is not necessarily a bad thing considering the intimacy of the Castle's atmosphere. The breakfast, however has room for improvement if I'm being honest. All in all, it was a nice stay and we both agreed another trip to the Castle was foreseeable in our future. The staff is great and was helpful to keep things a surprise. While we were out for dinner, they set up their candlelight package for me which consisted of rose petals being spread across the floor and tub, an ice bucket with a chilled bottle of sparkling cider, glasses filled with chocolates, and some flameless candles to tie it all together.

This place is easily one of the best bed and breakfasts in Utah. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room and had an amazing time. The room was gorgeous and had so many nice features, the TV was small however. I suggest the ultimate romance Breakfast was great! They do a different one everyday and they have small snacks available throughout the day as well. I will be back for sure!

We've stayed here a few times over the past few years and it's definitely one of our favorite themed inns. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is much better than what you'll find at other inns. I believe all of the rooms here have a toilet separated by a door (this is a big deal for me as I'm not fond of being exposed when handling business). Great place!

What a cool building. This place could be a 5 Star. But it's not. I love the building, the fireplace, the deep jetted tub. But… 1. This place needs a good deep clean. The corners and edges everywhere are dusty and dirty. 2. They've made it a low-budget experience. The common fridge in the main dining area is stocked with a slim selection of Shasta's. The drinking glasses are old and don't match. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced. There are tares in the furniture. The no smoking sign is taped to the door and ripped. 3. The breakfast buffet was nothing like the pictures on the website. They were out of sweet bread (my wife was disappointed), and the rest felt like a light Best Western continental breakfast. The juice dispensers are cheep plastic, and I still can't get the image out of my head when I saw a chunk of mold drop into my cup from the orange juice spout — Absolutely disgusting. I lost my appetite. We'll have to go out to breakfast instead. I really want to like this place. I hope they'll change a few things. Until then, I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend it to a friend.

I live nearby and walk the dog by all the time. Its a great place to stay for the little bit more you might pay, and a great spot. You love how beautiful the bldg is. Its a place to make a wonderful memory. And great food is nearby you can walk to!

The staff was so kind and welcoming! Everything felt so personally catered to us. The Romeo and Juliet room was clean, inviting and romantic. We will be back!

Stay was nice and the room was clean. Staff was very personable and the breakfast and snacks were wonderful. Just be mindful in picking your room as ours was directly under a room with a billiard table and we could hear them playing plain as day. Will be back again in a different room.

Everyone was really nice! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time! They have a big collection of movies and free treats and popcorn available any time throughout the night. I especially love the large jetted tub!

The price was excellent for a great bed, huge tub, a shower, and a fireplace. We spent our honeymoon here and loved it! The 24 hour snack bar was great. The only thing is that the room service pizza we ordered the first night was a little doughy. It was better the second night though!

I've stayed here three times; once for my wedding night 8 years ago, again for my husband's birthday several years later, and then again for Valentine's Day a year or two after that. First of all, this was the PERFECT place to stay for our wedding night. The Inn is tucked away in a secluded part of Cottonwood Heights, and you really feel like you're up in the mountains, away from the city and the city noises. My husband had made all the arrangements, and we stayed in Ivanhoe, per the employee's recommendation. It was a fantastic room, just absolutely perfect. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and very satisfying. Second, we originally booked the Canterbury room, but we received a free upgrade to the King's Lodge (we literally went from booking the cheapest room, to winding up with the most expensive one! ) because that room was not booked upon the time we checked in. That sure was fun, that is a big room with a nice big bed. Third, we stayed in Edinburgh. This was a nice room, and we enjoyed our stay. But I would highly suggest against this room for anybody looking to stay here, solely due to the location within the castle. I believe it was at the end of the hall, right next to the back door where people could enter after hours from the private parking lot. In keeping with the castle-style of the property, the door is big and heavy and can slam pretty hard and its easily heard in that room.

An excellent, intimate bed and breakfast, with themed rooms (ours was the Edinburgh, with Scottish outfitting). The service was great and we enjoyed the breakfast, brought to our room.

The staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than most included breakfasts.

Was going to give it another try but after reading the last review. The place still hasn't changed. I stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room a year and a half ago. It was nasty. The refrigerator had gross sticky stuff everywhere. The bathroom was dirty and the room was very small for the amount of money you pay. I also love how the owner cant just say sorry you had a bad experience. Let me make it up to you to the last person that had a bad experience. I was willing to give them another shot even from my first experience but not after that response from the OWNER. Great customer service! I guess the owner needs to be told the CUSTOMER IS ALWAY RIGHT. Guess you dont care for returning customers. Youll be out of business in the next few years. Update notice how the owner wont respond to my comment. He has responded to others since I posted this.

We had a FANTASTIC time here! The room was cozy and comfortable! The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a B & B! I didn’t want to check out and have to go back to the “real world” again. I definitely recommend staying at Castle Creek Inn! (Just don’t stay in our favorite room when we want to go back) Thanks Michelle for making things so nice there for us! We’ll definitely return again!

Me and my wife stayed here on our Anniversary. The room we chose to stay in was the Romeo and Juliet suite. But after being in the room for a few hours my wife wasn’t satisfied with the condition and upkeep of the room. We asked if there was anyway we could switch rooms and they were nice enough to switch us to another room. The staff was very nice as well. Breakfast was good too. They have Plex and Roku TV so there are plenty of things to watch. Relaxing tub and towels too plus shampoo conditioner as well. Very relaxing place with very nice staff and our weekends was perfect!

The owners response is such a filthy liar! Your cameras would prove that! I took pics and you couldn't pay me to stay in your filthy hotel. I'm now reporting you to the BBB and health inspectors! Where do I start! First of all, new owners took over this place awhile ago. Over half of the good reviews are from the previous owners not these new ones. As you arrive in the castle you'll notice an old smell that they're trying to cover up with incense! The vents were black with dust. Lovely fingerprints on the walls. The lady that checked us in just pointed us to our room. As we entered the Edinburgh we noticed that Romeo and Juliet left us several curly black pubic hairs in the tub along with mold growing out of the filter. We gently pulled back our comforter to see if it was clean and once again Romeo and Juliet was kind enough to leave us several stains! We opened the toilet area and found an old toilet with lovely pee stains all around it! The floor was sticky and it made that sticky sound as you tried to escape the area. Let's not forget that the dust bunnies were multiplying and our allergies were flaring to add to the ambience. This was not the romantic weekend my husband and I planned! Our skin was crawling! We could only imagine what a black light would reveal! We immediately asked her for a refund! She asked why. We told our room was filthy! She said that wasn't a good enough excuse! Are you kidding me! Yuck! We left!

Me and my husband stayed here and it has a small bed and breakfast feel, with all different suites that make you feel like royalty. They have a buffet breakfast in the morning, where the food was great. I highly recommend it :)

Awesome bed and breakfast. It's near everything, yet still seems secluded. The room was clean and fun to be in. The staff was awesome and answered all of our questions with a smile. Since there are only so many rooms they actually have a small video library you can use along with board games and a small all night snack bar. Breakfast wasn't big, but it came with getting the room and was very tasty. Would stay there again.

We love the Castle Creek Inn! We have been here twice. The various themed rooms are awesome, and the staff are very kind and approachable. They also have a ton of movies available to watch, and snacks and drinks available for free. The breakfasts are tasty too! We always recommend the Castle Creek Inn to our friends!

Great stay in the King's Lodge room. It was for our fifth wedding anniversary. The location is close to many places to eat. The room was comfortable. The service was great. Overall, a very good experience.

I loved the environment. Staff was friendly although the front desk guy did ask me if I was interested in his multilevel company. (I'm not) Buffet breakfast was 2/5 (what even were those potatoes? ) But the big tub and cool room made up for almost all of the rest.

Castle Creek Inn is a great place to get away. It has great rooms and very nice staff. I liked their old way of serving breakfast better than the buffet style they are using now, but would still recommend staying here.

With kids, dogs and responsibilities at home my boyfriend and I LOVE nights to ourselves. Castle Creek Inn was perfect. Beautiful room (Kings Lodge) and wonderful innkeepers. Quiet, private and comfortable. We'll be back.

My wife and I love Castle Creek Inn. It's our favorite bed and breakfast and we've stayed in every single room. I would recommend a night or two to any of my friends who want to unwind, relax, and enjoy each other's company in a fun medieval setting.

Our room was incredible! We stayed in Ivanhoe. The tub was great, bed was comfy, and the view was nice! The only thing that needs improvement was the Wi-Fi speed. We watched a movie but it buffered every 2 minutes. The breakfast and snack bar were delicious! I recommend anyone to stay here!

The room was lovely! We stayed in the Canterbury suite. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathtub was huge! We would definitely stay there again.

We came for our 1st Anniversary and were soooo excited to stay in a Castle! The room was pretty, the bed was comfortable and the tub was great! The gardens and patio are beautiful and fun to wander through. They provided us with a cute snack package on arrival, which was awesome! The pros end about there, sadly. *the room was very hot, with only a fan to cool it
*There was no one here! We were told that staff leaves at 6 on Sundays and there was NO ONE to attend you for the rest of the night, which is extremely odd. We went out for snacks and noticed many dirty dishes on the tables in the dining room, (it was around 8 pm at this point) which was not too professional. We had other questions, but again, no one there past 6 pm on Sundays. Fend for ourselves then!
*in the morning we ordered breakfast in bed at 9:30 am… I'm writing this review at 9:50 and I've still not gotten any food and they said they had no idea that we had even ordered it that way.
*dirty: the floors hadn't been swept or mopped for awhile it seemed. We had the garden suite where we had direct access do the pretty gardens, but there was a lot of dirt and such here as we arrived.
*the breakfast was ok. It wasn't awful, but I felt there was a lack of any sort of professionalism. We've been to many hotels and b and bs, and we won't be coming back, I'm afraid!

Nice, quiet, cute rooms. Love the fireplaces and jetted tubs. We have stayed in 3 rooms. Loved them all, but some beds were a little too soft for us (bad back). The breakfast was pretty good 2of3 times. The other one we took a few bites and went to IHOP. Lots of places to go in the area without going downtown SLC, but not a far drive.

Such a great time. Stayed in the Repunzel Tower, room was clean, breakfast was good. Will definitely be back!

It was our third time spending the night there. We love it.

We love to come here. It is a relaxing, comfortable place to get away. It's close to shopping, restaurants, and things to do, and yet tucked away in a quiet location away from the bustle. Staff are friendly and unpretentious. Rooms are nice. Most include a mini fridge. They just upgraded rooms with smart tvs for accessing various video streaming services, along with their own Plex server with a selection of complementary new movies. Easy to feel at home here.

Fun little B&B. We've between here several times. Has always been a favorite of ours. Usually we're very impressed with the staff and the breakfast if one of the main reasons we come here. Unfortunately on our last visit here the food was terrible, couldn't find any of the staff, and the internet connection was useless. Not sure if it was just an off weekend for them but if this has been my first time there I would not be returning.

We stayed in the Rapunzel Tower. It was comfy, cozy, romantic and beautiful. Jetted tub & fire place was great! Only down side, no shower, but there is a shower hose attachment on the tub. We had a small wedding ceremony and they assisted greatly with that. Staff was very friendly and breakfast in bed was delicious. We will consider staying there again!

Summary: The 3 D's: Dingy, Disgusting and Disappointing. DO NOT stay in the Garden Suite. The room is reminiscent of a converted utility closet… it was small, cramped and the layout was horrible. Whenever we walked into the facility it smelled like nasty old mop water. I know the theme is a castle-and the REALLY pulled out ALL the stops to give it that authentic run-down, ancient, dingy feel. The floor in our room looked like it had never been mopped. There was blackish grey slime/grime on the floor of the shower, because who doesn't want a foot fungus or hookworm while on vacation. There was no drawers to put anything in. The 'closet' was a shelf 2" long and falling off the wall which was located in the toilet room. The TV was smaller than the computer screen I'm using to write this on. Breakfast was disappointing, especially after seeing all the things online, we were hoping for a little selection or menu, but they just bring you something. In this case eggs benedict-kinda disappointing, again. Most of the cookies they provided as snacks are over-baked, stale and crumbly. The staff was present-about what you would expect from an Econolodge-but not from a B&B. Do yourself a HUGE favor; get yourself a nice hotel room and on the $ you'll save on the room rate take yourself to a nice breakfast. I have NO idea how this place has gotten 4 or more stars. I've stayed at motels that are on par with this place for a fraction of the price.

The Romeo and Juliet room has the best bed I have ever slept in (what kind is it? I want to get one) we had an excellent pizza delivered to the room and a yummy banana split. Breakfast on the balcony in the morning completed the stay. This is the best place we have ever stayed. The friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They even offered to have someone go get and bring us robes. There is no doubt where we will be staying our next time through the area.

I stayed here with my wife in the king's Lodge. Our room was super clean and it included a jetted tub, large shower, California King bed, fireplace and even a pool table! Breakfast was included where you can choose to have it in the dining room or they will even bring it to your room! They will also bring delicious fresh baked pizza right to your room. They have a fridge stocked with any drink you could possibly think of and had fresh baked goodies if you have a sweet tooth. Our stay was absolutely fantastic and the staff was so nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we loved it. The room was very romantic and the theme of the hotel itself quite unique.

My husband and came here for our honeymoon. We stayed in a different suite each night for 5 nights. The landscaping out back was exquisite and spent a lot of time enjoying the ambiance of nature, which has a very secluded feel for being right next to a main road. The breakfasts were delightful and delivered right to our room each morning by the always friendly staff. The rooms were small, but lovely. An excellent experience for the cost, I would go back anytime.
