The pastoral setting is gorgeous with views of the back side of Bryce Canyon. The campground was quiet and the sites were spacious. However, we paid extra to camp by the river which means we sacrificed sewer and gained mosquitos by the hundreds. This also meant we could not eat outdoors. The restrooms and trash can were located a LONG WALK from our campsite. The price was only slightly less than Ruby's next to Bryce (our first choice but it was full).

We came last year with a big group and had a really great time. This year the camp host (the old lady) questioned us like we did not belong after we were set up, in the exact same spot as last year. Later that afternoon the kids were riding their ATV'S and she (new camp host) took it upon herself to speak directly to the kids, telling them they couldn't ride where they rode all last year. She never asked for the parents, and she came down on 3 children. When my husband when to speak to Bill about the situation, and that we felt that was not appropriate to do, all that Bill said is that they are going to be busy this weekend and did not even apologize to my husband for the incident. I will not be coming back here in the future, I will also tell the 10 other campers in my group to find a new location for next year.

The manager has been extremely helpful! I called to reserve a room with a group, however, my group had taken all of the rooms available. The manager juggled some things around and went out of his way to make sure I had a room for the time my group was going down. Then, I needed to switch out the credit card they had on file. The manager was extremely helpful and happy to do it. I have had nothing but a great experience with this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Very clean rooms, quiet, right on Highway 89 between Bryce and Zion. Bill is an amazing host, easy going, funny, and full of interesting stories. I highly recommend this place for families traveling to the parks! My family of five stayed in the Canyon Room, which was larger than my first apartment!

A great place with great host. The site was clean and quite — could not have been better. We hope to get an opportunity to stay at the Ranch again.

Fantastic location! We loved our tent site right next to the river. The campground was quiet and the bathrooms were clean.

Riverside Ranch is a great family hotel. It is located only 20 minutes from Bryce canyon National Park. Having the stream to walk by was nice.

Stayed five nights in the tent at the ranch. The campsite right by the river is very spacious and we were able to enjoy our privacy. Restrooms Rustic in western style furnished, clean and super hot showers:-) The owners are very friendly and have helped us with all the questions. Brilliant stay between Zion NP and Bryce Canyon. Would stay here again immediately!

Stayed here for a night on our stop in front of Bryce Canyon. Unfortunately, we spent too much time in the Valley of Fire before and had to go through Zion NP, which unfortunately we could not see much of. If we were to look at it sometime again, we would definitely stay here again. As the arrival was very late (approx. 22Uhr), there was a note at the office where our room was open and the key was in the room and still the Wi-Fi code (free of charge). Check-in will then stop the next morning. The rooms are all housed in a separate building and all have their own theme. Ours was Indian. The room is small, cozy and clean. Unfortunately, the refrigerator did not go. We slept well and the next morning we had a good time with the owner, who was very nice and so far the only one who has passed by hand. The breakfast is rather clear, but the cereals are delicious. If someone is looking for a small nice hotel with a nice owner, he is right here.

Camped at the ground. Bathroom a bit dirty and bare. The spigot have cold clear water and the campground is right next to Seiver river. Pretty satisfied overall.

Room was basic but comfortable and good price. Not much to the nearby town. The rv area had a basketball hoop and horse shoes. Great place to stay with pets.

Needs a lot of love and redesign. Pull through are very close together and your step opens to the sewer hookup of the next guy, only about 6 feet apart. Bath is clean but old and needs some rebuild. Wifi is a joke, kicks you off after about 2 minutes. Has recently changed hands and new owner is trying to get it back up after neglect but still a long ways to go and a bad experience. It's a shame, the meadow and river are a great location, near to town and Bryce. Unfortunately, even with cleanup the design issue is still a killer. Head on down the road to the KOA about 12 miles further north.

We stayed a night here in the motel on the way to Bryce. Nice folks and clean rooms. The room we stayed in had a fishing theme. I think the other rooms are themed as well. About 30 from Bryce.

Pretty place friendly people. We enjoyed our stay.

DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT! We ate there and had absolutely the worst waitress ever. She was rude taking our order, and messed up two of them, forgetting the third completely. When my grandfather ordered a beer, she showed frustration and placed them roughly in front of him, stating "Beer. Glass. " We also saw into their kitchen for a moment. It was very grimy. We will remember this experience for a long time to come. As for the rooms, they were a little old and needed repair, there was junk strewn out in the parking lot in front of our door and a smelly trash nearby that needed changing. Rooms were fairly clean, but there was mold growing in the shower vent. Wi-Fi didn't function either. All together horrible experience.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Stayed at the campground which was rustic. The bathrooms were outdated and very small. The motel rooms were cute with microwave, fridge and bathroom. The major problem was the mosquitoes; they were terrible! Had to kill 20 mosquitoes in the RV every time you opened the RV door. Bring mosquito repellent if you stay here!

Incomprehensible mishaps. The shower control was loose and flapped around in the wall. Once it was turned on, it WOULD NOT TURN OFF. No maintenance person was available, so I had to beg the evening woman to scrounge any tools she could find around the office, so I could fix their plumbing, temporarily, myself. She blamed the problem on the Europeans who often stay there. The old and cheapy alarm clock in the room did not go off, so we missed our Bryce Canyon sunrise! It seems there is only the minimum maintenance done to keep the place from crumbling into the river. Our tiny bathroom had a small but pretty granite counter and a very nice new lavatory faucet, which stood out so much it made us laugh when compared to the remainder of the room. I wonder what was there, previously.

RV park spots are very narrow. Very. Although the restaurant had good food, the service was terrible. My recommendation would be to keep driving. I was here in august, and the gnats were terrible. That might be a seasonal thing. You would also like it more if you had horses or like the smell of horse poop.

We were spending the night in Hatch, Utah in June, 2009. Just happened to discover the Cactus Cowboy Restaurant (which is part of the Riverside Resort and RV Park). The food was excellent and the service equal to 5 star restaurants in the city. The owner knows how to provide customer service AND excellent food. I highly recommend the Buffalo burgers. They are incredible. And the homemade cobbler (we had peach) was incredible.
