Was able to get a good night's rest.

Horrible customer service. They just scam people out of money. If you have to cancel, even if you cancel before the 48 hours and have their confirmation numbers that THEY sent you, they still charge you and just make you jump through hoops to get your money back. I called twice, spoke to a woman who then had me wait a day to call back so I could talk to Gloria the property manager because she supposedly wasn't there, and when I did it turned out to be the woman I had previously spoken to! They will be reported to the better business bureau.

Our room was clean and it was right around the corner from the Monterey bacon fest. They had breakfast for guest in the morning which was really nice my children enjoyed swimming in the pool they have. We enjoyed our stay at the quality inn.

Man oh man, not much didn't go wrong at this place. The Wi-Fi straight up did not work for most of our stay. It worked — very slowly — for the first few hours, but after that I could not connect to any website, check my email, anything, despite being apparently logged in to the network. When I called the front desk, the guy manning it just said "I don't know what to tell you. " So helpful. Additionally, our room smelled very strange, like a mix of BO and burnt metal. At first I thought maybe it was me, but even after I showered, left the room, and came back, the smell lingered. I had to sleep with the covers over my head to not constantly be breathing it in. Also, saw a number of ants on the floor and on my night table, which wasn't very comforting.

The motel was nice. Everything seemed clean. They have a Continental breakfast which includes cereal, waffels, yogurt, bagels, sausage, omlettes, and pastries. The lady running the breakfast area was very good at cleaning up as soon as people got up to leave and kept all they food stocked up. We had a pleasant stay. A+ for a budget motel.

The room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was clean and functional. A good value for money hotel for a short stay.

It's decent. Location and cleanliness is good. They've a good breakfast.

I liked how friendly the staff was I gave it a three stars because when we arrived the room did have a musty smell to it and they were working on the furniture in the parking lot. Overall we had an amazing stay the beach was about 5 minutes away which is really convenient there's a lot of restaurants and stores in the area. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was good in both the room and the morning at breakfast.

Better than I expected with a separate area with fridge, microwave, dining area and balcony. Free hot breakfast is always awesome!

A quant hotel with plenty of out outlets. Clean and pretty nice. Internet was high speed and functional for the most part. I would stay here again :-)

Location is good right next to 68 and 1, with many stores and restaurants within a short drive. Rooms aren't the greatest it most modern, but were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and they score high marks of gratitude for starting it a little early for those in my party who had to leave early.

We only paid $73 for the night for this stay, so our expectations were low. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was incompetent, and the room had a used, bent bottle cap on the floor, hair in the shower, on the towels, in the sheets. When we got new towels from the front desk, one of the ones we were handed had a stain on it. They only slightly redeemed themselves by giving us a full refund on the room, but we ended up checking out.

The accommodations are top notch quality very helpful in the breakfast in the morning is amazing and fantastic with a full array of waffles cereal fruit coffee oatmeal and several juices.

The suite we stayed in was terribly outdated. The pictures were different from what we got. There was no air conditioning in the room but it was cold when we stayed here so that wasn't a problem. It seemed pretty clean but I still didn't walk around barefoot on the carpet. Front desk was nice and there was a nice selection at breakfast. I would not stay here again.

Nice enough hotel with a good breakfast. The location is fairly close to downtown Monterey and there are a few things to do around the area. Wifi worked well and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

This hotel is in need of updating. The room had NO air conditioning, just a HUGE table fan that mad so much noise I thought we were sleeping under a 747. Pictures on web site were not what the room and property looked like. Mattress hard and lots of street noise. Will not stay there again. Plus side, the front desk was great…

Good for price. Comfortable bed and clean room with breakfast. Staff is very helpful, they helped me with milk for my son late night.

We got a suite: 2 rooms with a kitchinet. It was nice & spacious. The usual motel/inn amenities with nothing fancy.

Rooms clean. Breakfast good! Receptionists were wonderful. Coffee at breakfast and at main desk was Good. Coffee in room was terrible. Cleaning of room was well done. However noisy location. Could hear road a lot and lots of noise from people outside.

It meet our needs and roomed 6 people (3 queens). The room was not particularly well kept. There were little sinkholes in the floor where you could easily twist an ankle just walking across the carpet if you weren't careful. There is no way to cool the place other than opening windows. This is effective, but who wants the window to the walkway, where the other guests are obnoxious and loud, open when they are trying to sleep? They seem to be using king side headboards for queen size beds. You can see chords stapled along the floorboards because they couldn't be bothered to run them properly. The breakfast might have been okay… I couldn't really tell you as they have shoved tables and chairs in a room that is smaller than a bedroom AND have the counters with food around the sides of the room. I could not physically get to the food as there were people sitting at said tables. Pretty sure there are rules about space and people and hazards that are not being followed properly.

Suite was spacious and well appointed for an older facility. The area was quiet and peaceful overnight. Unfortunately, the breakfast room at this location (Fremont St, Monterey CA) was dangerously small/overcrowded, and almost unusable.

We arrived at 3:00am after a long drive from LA and we had a nice checking experience with zero problems. We got a very comfortable suite with double rooms, double queen beds and even got a rollaway bed. The breakfast was included and was very decent with the waffle machine that the kids love. The lady in the breakfast room is very nice and lovely. We stayed only for one night but would definitely stay again next time. Good value for the money.

Stayed for 4 nights. The rooms were maybe a touch dated but they were comfortable, clean, and close to attractions and busses. Breakfast was lovely as was the staff. We greatly enjoyed calling this Inn home during our stay and would definitely return.

Honestly, for the price it is not too shabby. We stayed in a "suite" with 2 queen beds in different sections for our room for only $88 a night. The beds are decent, pillows are nice, room had a stand up shower with an adjustable shower that didn't lose pressure or get cold. Before my trip, I did purchase bed bug spray to use on the beds before we slept in them, but even without that, I don't think bed bugs would have been a problem. Location is perfect too, easy freeway access and didn't see any sketchy people. If you need a place to stay for a cheap price, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great value at such a low price ($55?!?! ). I was rather surprised, to be perfectly honest. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The rooms were clean, well maintained, large, and nicely appointed. Coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave was a definite plus. OK, for $55, I was shocked at how great it was… I'd have expected a room like this to be at least $80-100/night.

Good location. Nice guest service. Breakfast could be better with ham/ bacon option. The hours of the front desk should be all night and not just 7:30-10. Clean rooms.

I like to pay twice the price for its spacy and decorative room, breakfast, and the reasonable price.

Very clean and affordable for the Holiday weekend. Located walking distance to downtown. Couldn't ask for more on a budget!

Quality Inn in Monterey was a nice cute establishment with great staff and is located close enough to take care of anything you need. The rooms are good in size, I had a 2 bed room for my family of 5, 3 are under the age of 10. Always a fan of the continental breakfast!

Room is very basic, but it is clean. Noise isolation is bad, hear people walking upstairs very clearly. Booked the room a week earlier, 140 per night for Fri. Sat. Too expensive for this two-star hotel.

The clerk was really helpful and polite, and the place was affordable!

On a warm day and night it would of been nice to have some A/C or a lock on the window to leave it open a bit.

Nice, quiet hotel with a quaint personality. Conveniently located to all major attractions. Clean and well taken care of. Best thing… I made a mistake in the booking dates and they worked with me to quickly change (with less than 24 hours notice) our reservation and get us nice room at almost no difference in cost. WOW! Thank you.
